So torn about putting this under pregnancy or parenting 🥴 I think we’re halfway there on deliveries - just a last push needed!

Welcomed baby boy on the 22nd, waters were broke at 7:30 that morning and he was with us by 9:40am! Very fast and continuous contractions. No break in between from when waters were broken! I was in complete shock when he was placed on my chest as I couldn’t quite believe how fast it was!

Here is the our beauty Alice Rose, 3 days old now. Settling in well just wished she would sleep during night.

I think dates worked for me as well and maybe the clary sage. Once contractions with help of the drip started I progressed really quick. Drip started at midnight and started to push at 5am. Has to have ventose delivery in the end as baby was facing sideways. I truly recommend if your are having the drip and would like the epidural have it right at the start before you have drip. Had a prefect pain free labour. Very relaxed arrival. Just shame she couldn't turn and me in the right position.

Hey ladies, I had my baby girl in the early hours of Monday morning. Had my bloody show at midnight, started with contractions 15 mins later they were about 10 mins apart then quickly got closer & closer together ended up having to get an ambulance to hospital around 3:30 by which time my contractions were a minute apart got into delivery suite about 20 mins later my partner arrived they said I was 9cm and then my waters broke a few mins later then a minute after waters breaking my baby popped out. Was all very fast and no time for pain relief 😂 she was 7lb11oz 🥰 been in since Monday as she has suspected infection but hoping to go home tomorrow. Had her 1 day before my due date 😊 good luck to those still waiting for their little ones to arrive! Xxx

Third and final sweep at 41w today. Baby has moved down but not by much. Going in for induction at 9am tomorrow eek!

@pigletpie2177 ooh good luck with that! My waters actually went yesterday evening! Currently timing contractions and hoping things ramp up naturally, otherwise likely induction later this aft!! So we’re both on the home stretch!! ☺️ Xx

@pigletpie2177 hopefully your sweep works so you can avoid induction ! No news here - baby boy is very comfy. Got my induction tomorrow night at 9pm so the end is in sight !! I just can’t wait for him to be here now. Currently 11 days being over is not fun !

@Jodiea93 thank you! Same to you! Having the induction booked is something! And you never know, it could kick off at any moment! I hadn’t really had any signs until my waters went yesterday eve. Hope all goes well for you xx

@pigletpie2177 no signs yet for me, had a long walk yesterday and a hot curry last night to try and encourage things along but nada 😐

Only just hit my due date today though so can't really complain, especially given how long some of you have waited to meet your little bundles! just trying to remain patient 😊

Sebastian James arrived safely overnight after a very quick active labour stage which went from 3cm dilated to fully dilated in about 4 hours! Managed with no pain relief (partly cos everything happened so fast!!)

6lb15oz which was less than predicted - especially as he was a week overdue!

Very happy and in love with my little boy 🥰

I'm currently on ward - baby has apparently moved down a little but I'm not even a little dilated. Pessary in and will be checked again in 24 hours unless something kicks off before that.

Ah thanks girlies! All the best with your inductions and remaining babies! Must say, it’s good to be this side of things at last! You will all be great and I’m excited for you all getting to meet your babies soon! It’s still sinking in for me!! Currently still on the postnatal ward asBabba has a tongue tie and they want to monitor feeding- hopefully home tomorrow 🤞🏼Xx Thinking of you who are still waiting! It will be worth it I promise!

Random note - despite Babba constantly measuring 75th percentile, bein predicted to be 8lbs at 40wks, and arriving a week late... he was only 6lbs15oz - so late baby doesn’t necessarily mean big baby! Xx

@pigletpie2177 oh really !! You never know it might just happen out of the blue. Have you been able to get much sleep and rest ?

@SnookyPook that’s comforting to hear about the weight. Apparently this one measuring big at 36 weeks so have to gone over two weeks I’m so worried. Just shows they don’t always get it right !!

He's a cutie 😍 glad to hear everything went so quick and smoothly for you 😊 I'm quite relieved to hear about the measurements being off too, I've been measuring big since the beginning and I've got proper anxiety that mines going to be a massive baby I can't birth lol.

I'm due to see consultant again at 10:30 but they've just examined me to confirm my waters broke at 6am though I'm still not dilated at all. Hopefully the waters breaking will bring it along but sounds like they might stick me on the drip this morning.

I love hearing about all these babies and good luck to those still waiting.

My baby measured over the 100th percentile the whole way through, then was 8lb13oz a day over due. So yes a good size but nothing massively off the scale like predicted.

Keep us posted everyone still going, we are all routing for you.

I have a baby!! Whoop!

Bit of a drama but eventually born via c section (as predicted) for various (unpredicted) reasons - my fouf is actually quite relieved as he weighed in at 8lb 15oz 😩

@pigletpie2177 huge congratulations to you. I had my little boy yesterday afternoon too. It wasn’t the best as I hemorrhaged but getting there. My little one weighed 8lb 13oz just like his brother and considering he was two weeks late and I was told he was going to be a big baby I think he was ok lol xx

Congratulations to you too @Jodiea93 - so sorry it sounds like such a scary experience.

My little one's heart rate plummeted within minutes of them starting the hormone drip - turned out he had a true knot in the umbilical cord. My uterus was also incredibly thin near the previous scar (hence the nick on his head) so all in all the section was definitely the right call in the end - might have been very bad for both of us if I'd continued to push for the vbac in the circumstances.

@ExhaustedMumofsix do keep us updated here even if you move to the feb board for support there too! Hope all goes really well x

Sebastian and I got home after Sunday lunch 🥰 Actually really pleased we stayed that extra night as the midwives were brilliant and I left hospital feeling lots more confidant about feeding etc. Now trying to adjust to life with my Babba!! I desperately need a good sleep but guess that may have to wait a few years 🤣
