So torn about putting this under pregnancy or parenting 🥴 I think we’re halfway there on deliveries - just a last push needed!

Ooh exciting @Bunnycrazy fingers crossed things start soon!

Nothing much happening here. I'm going to the loo a lot which I know is a potential sign (sorry tmi) and a bit of tightening in the evenings but nothing which would otherwise suggest anything's going to happen anytime soon.

Dunno about you guys but the weather is so bad here I don't mind too much if I'm in hibernation this weekend and baby stays put for a few more days!

Not as dramatic as that. A trickle to begin with and then a couple of gushes. Just want the pains to start lol! and maybe some sleep. Was awake all date agitated couldn't settle.

All is well except for painful cracked nipples whilst breastfeeding. Just trying to get through it with nipple cream atm. Other than that all is well. Baby is 5 days old now so have her 5 day check up today and a repeat of the hearing test!

Cracked nipples are not nice I feel for you. We are really well thank you was going back through pictures and my ds was right swollen thought he was gorgeous 😂 he's 3 weeks now

I have had to top up feeds with formula in between breast milk now she was just really unsettled and couldn’t seem to latch properly to get enough, I felt guilty that I would confuse her but couldn’t have her starving xx

Hey @Tink20058 and @WhoUsedMyName we haven’t even made it 48 hours of boob and DS is having formula top ups already. He was getting nothing directly from me and the MW wee talking about when it might get urgent. Decided not to wait for urgent and he was delighted to get a bottle. No way am I risking hypoglycaemia and jaundice because I’m obsessed with ebf. Really hoping to mix feed but won’t risk health.

Deffo not worth a risk I thought I was doing well and had a sleepy baby until she told me how dramatically he's weight dropped! Poor boy now he's a piggy

Anyone got baby pictures? Understand some might not be comfortable to post. But I love looking at them

Had a failed sweep attempt at 41 so looking like induction next week is likely. Had been feeling an increase in tightenings etc but obviously not enough to bring this little one out yet.

Just found you all and will catch up now.

Baby 10'days old today. Projectile vomiting every evening and every morning. Rest of the time totally fine. She's still putting ok weight and lots of good nappies so not too worried but will ring the GP tomorrow. HV was happy to see how she is over night.

I'm going to read this new thread now and hope to hear everyone has had their babies now !!!

@PopsicleHustler I'm with you on the nipples...cracked, bleeding, puss, blisters. I decided to use nipple shields in the end and it was a total game changer. A couple of days in now and all is healed so I've ditched the shields. They were the best thing ever for me.

Also the shields gather d a bit of milk each time so I used that to pour on each nipple and that has helped massively. Better than Lansinoh cream I think.

My milk has come in and my boobs feel filed with gravel and are so painful. Weirdly the baby doesn’t want to drink from the hideous rock boobs and so just looks at them suspiciously and yells at me. 🙄🙄🙄.

@Onekidnoclue shower as hot as you can and hand express whilst in there keep going from boob to boob couple of squirts on each then turning back to the shower mine felt so much better

Ahh @footprintsintheslow that photo - she's so beautiful 😍 you've reminded me that I used shields for a bit due to damage caused in (v short) period before tt snipped! Also breast milk is magic and I used it to fix cracked nipples, sore eyes (baby's) and an ear infection (mine!)

Well I'm now officially at 40wk and I'm going to go against the grain and celebrate still being pregnant 🎉 I can't remember whether I've said on here - or just on the Facebook page so outing but it doesn't matter - but I was admitted to hospital at 31wk after a bleed and a positive test for looking my waters and it was all a bit of a panic. Tests and scans and steroid injections as they thought baby might be prem. Since then, either for waters or general growth concerns, I've had another 6 or 7 scans (I've lost track!) and various discussions about early induction etc so I'm actually really pleased to be at this point!

@pigletpie2177 that’s brilliant. Congratulations on having a baby to full term! You’ve done your bit. Now they need to just decide when to come and meet everyone.
@WhoUsedMyName will do. Being discharged this afternoon I hope and shower is high on my agenda. I’ve got low blood pressure and a tendency to faint so want to wait til I get home and would be happy to sit on the floor if I feel wobbly!

Sweep this morning and baby is seemingly comfy and still high. Booked another for next week and told to bounce on my ball inbetween ☺️ potential induction next weekend otherwise but I'm going to try to put that to the back of my mind so I don't feel like I'm on a timer!

Still no sign of contractions so they have started the induction process. Just waiting now to see if pessary will work.
