Just thought it might be a nice idea for any of us first time mums just finding out to have a thread to chat on.

I found out Monday and am now 4+4.

@primhutch 😂❤️. If that's the case I'm 6+3 today. But the woman at W2TW said I needed to be 6 weeks for the early scan and said I was only 5 weeks. So it confused me. I sound so stupid 😩😂 thank you for your reply. X

@Sillysocks998 if download the pregnancy app with a green logo with wee feet on it and input your last period details it tells you every day how far along you are

I hope everyone's doing alright! I've managed to avoid the nausea so far I think, I've just got super tender boobs and a bit of constipation Because I'm off work right now due to lockdown I can't tell if the fact I'm tired but not sleeping is because I'm bored all day or a symptom! I might have to join the 3pm nap club!

It's one week until my scan at the epu so I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping the days don't drag too much. I need a distraction or a new hobby to occupy myself.

@Sillysocks998 my last period was the 14th Dec and I'm 6+3 today so you should be 5 weeks I'm sure :) It's annoying because I know I ovulated a week late so I'm really only 5+3!

Hey snuggled I love that app. It's called preg week by week. I'm 5 weeks and 2 days. So it's counting a week after my period start. Not sure why but maybe that's the way. Thank you for recommending. I have the app called Flo. That's pretty decent too. ❤️

@Flower95 it’s completely normal to have those feelings- I was the same as I didn’t expect it to happen so fast. Alll I would say is take time to get your head around it before making any decisions- you may still be in shock (I know I am 😂). Whatever you and your partner decide will be the right thing for you xx

@sillysocks998 if you had your last period on the 21st December, ive worked you out to be 5+3. You count from the first day of your last period, the NHS has a due date calculator which works it all out for you! Mine was the 16th December and im 6+1 today! Obviously there's room for error based on when you ovulated but that will be changed in your dating scan at 12weeks if they need to. When was the bleed? Was it much?

@mrsmcntobe oh yay! Thats so exciting, I knew it would be all okay, are you feeling relieved now? How good you could have an abdominal scan too, that must've been alot more comfortable 😉

Last Saturday. And it was a gush of red blood. Enough to fill half a pad I'd say. Haven't bled since. It was after masturbation. I was kicking myself. This morning my boobs and chest muscles feel sore like I have worked out. They've hurt the most today so far. The scan this weekend will hopefully help me understand if there is something there. I thought I had a mc last weekend.

Has anyone had SVT pre pregnancy? I have a couple of episodes a year but doctors never want to do anything. I'm just worried pregnancy will make SVT worse and could be dangerous?

@flower95 I think if anything I'm the other way to you with a super slow heart rate! Just planning to mention to the midwife at my booking appt. X

Morning :) does anyone have nausea but nothing actually comes up? I think that's someone's worse 🤢 constantly gagging over the toilet x

@unicornpower sorry for my stupid tips the other day. I’m on my third morning of feeling like absolute crap and now things aren’t working. I hate actually being sick so I’ve been able to fight it off but just want the feeling to go away.

@Chica1990 oh no! Thats awful im sorry, I have felt so bad for a few days, but the tablets from the doctor have helped and now its more manageable. It was awful though so you have my full sympathy. Its the worst feeling sick it really is! I've been sick the last two evenings, seems to be worse around dinner time to be honest x

Morning everyone! I've been awol for a while suffering with the worst nausea, body pain and constant tiredness. I threw up only once but the nauseous feeling is even worse!

Great to hear some of you have gone to your early scans, very reassuring I bet! Did you get given pictures? What did they look like? I've got mine next week and I just can't wait!

Hey, I got given 2 pictures from my scan, one was just a zoomed in pic of the original tho. It’s so cute! When they explained to me where the bum and head were you can clearly see it’s a baby! I’m 8+6 today.
It was so amazing, they were able to tell me what ovary my egg come from, they checked to make sure everything was how it should be and were just so understanding. Fingers crossed for yours next week x

@CherylLW that sounds amazing 😍 bet it makes it even more real huh? I'm going to be 7 wks next week, as it's early (I'm too impatient) I hope they'll be able see the baby or at least the heartbeat.

@Taybz I’m sure they will be able to see. They do scans from 6 weeks so should be perfect! It was so lovely to see the little heart beating on the screen, so weird! It’s still early but it’s comforting to know that right now everything is ok x

@Jay3004 no - don't have an early scan booked, think I will wait for the 12 week scan but really looking forward to my appt on 11/02.

As of now just trying to stay positive mentally and do what I can physically.

Are you ladies consuming fish while pregnant? I used to eat fish atleast 3-4 times a week before but now it's suggested that one should consume only 1 or 2 portions a week so cutting down on that.

@Poppysmile welcome! Looks like sore boobs is a common factor for most of us on this group, you're not alone . I have been struggling with it. Been wearing a sports bra but even that is not the most comfortable right now.
