@Flower95 oh god we sound like a right pair! You’re right though- our hormones are raging 😂 I think part of it for me is that we were taking a casual approach and it happened really quick and I feel like OMG should I have waited and now I’m stuck in this predicament 😂xxx

Flower95 · 27/01/2021 09:14

@Brightspark12 me too!!!! We didn't try we just kinda said if it happened, it happened and just after one time it did! Very lucky but so shocked that it did lol.

CherylLW · 27/01/2021 09:33

Morning Ladies,

I’ve got my early scan this afternoon and I am VERY nervous!! I am 8+3 today, the last time I had an internal scan is when they told me I’d had a MMC so trying not to go down a path of worry but so hard!

@MrsMcNtobe good luck for yours later, hopefully we will both have perfect scans x

@AdventuresAwait Hope you’re doing ok, your scan is this week isn’t it? I remember it being very close to mine. x

@unicornpower not long to wait now for your scan! I’ve got an hours drive to the scan so a full bladder shouldn’t be a problem 😄 x

Congratulations on all the new BFP’s!! Xx

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing the same issue. I've had a lot of pressure in my stomach like period pains, not too painful or anything. Sometimes feel like "poo pain" do you know when you need a poo badly! When I first found out I was pregnant I actually felt pregnant and now I seem to have lost that feeling :(

StellaE13 · 27/01/2021 09:36

Hi everyone,

I'm 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant and really struggling with nausea and upset stomach. I am absolutely repulsed by the smells of cleaning products so washing up liquid, soap, washing powder etc. Its unbearable! I feel like I'm going mad and wondered if anyone else was experiencing anything like this. I don't know how I'm going to manage over the next few month!!! Sad any tips welcome! Thanks!

StellaE13 · 27/01/2021 09:38

Hi @chenellecawthra I experienced this st early 5 weeks. I was having a lot of period like cramping but it seems to have settled now. Hope it eases for you too soon.

Chenellecawthra1 · 27/01/2021 09:46

Yeah I’ve had a lot of period pain cramping which I didn’t think was unusual, I’m starting to feel a little sick sometimes but not actually being sick. I’m just a panicky person and think everything is wrong and I’ll be having another MC. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

MrsMcNtobe · 27/01/2021 10:06

@CherylLW good luck! Will be thinking of you x

ErrolFinn · 27/01/2021 10:07

Hello everyone,
I am waiting for a call back from the GP. I am being sick every 30 mins at the moment and I've not managed to keep any food or drink down for a couple of days now. I passed out this morning.
This is my first pregnancy so I don't know if this is normal or not. I am really struggling, anyone else feel like this? Sad

ChrAmbaby · 27/01/2021 11:01

I have noticed that a walk everyday for about 30 - 45 mins really helps especially during this lockdown. The weather also is a challenge. Also, I have been trying to eat healthy most of the time to avoid any nausea. In terms of sleep, I have been ok going to bed as I am pretty exhausted by the evening but if I wake up during the night at any point, I am struggling to go back to sleep. Lots of tossing and turning before I fall back to sleep. Is anyone else experiencing the same.

ChrAmbaby · 27/01/2021 11:03

I have my booking appt for bloods with a midwife on 11/02 which is exactly 8 weeks for me, do I need to ask for another appt before that?

slightlybonkers · 27/01/2021 11:13

hi @chenellecawthra I am the same with the pressure and period like pain, not feeling nauseous. So, am bit worried but fingers crossed. Feel like have put on weight and am bloated. Am 5 weeks.

Brightspark12 · 27/01/2021 11:18

@Chenellecawthra1 I feel the same too- pressure like in your vag and period cramps😂 does anyone else feel like they want to keep taking tests to check they’re still pregnant 😬

unicornpower · 27/01/2021 11:27

@ErrolFinn hey hun, oh no that sounds awful! I was similar over the weekend (I didnt pass out but was very dehydrated) and the doctor prescribed me some tablets to help with the sickness. So far they are helping, I still feel sick and I was sick yesterday but only once so its alot more manageable. I hope they'll be able to get you sorted, its so miserable isn't it and honestly its terrifying too xxxx

Chenellecawthra1 · 27/01/2021 11:28

@slightlybonkers I’m exactly the same, I’m 6 weeks, feel like I’ve put weight on and am bloated. I was very bloated when I first found out but it seems to have subsided

Chenellecawthra1 · 27/01/2021 11:29

@Brightspark12 yes! When I first found out I was 2-3 on a digi test and then yesterday I didn’t feel any symptoms or pregnant at all, took another digi test and it was 3+ So I’m hoping everything is okay

Kirky658 · 27/01/2021 11:30

@chenellecawthra1 I have also had this you're not alone!
@errolfinn how far gone are you hun? That sounds quite severe I would speak to your gp as it could be hyperemis gravidium a friend of mine had it and she was in hospital with a drip after 3 days of constant throwing up and not being able to eat don't want to scare you but might need checking out.
@brightspark12 luckily I have no tests in my house as I'd be doing them all the time, don't need the anxiety. I keep telling myself it's all good I still have symptoms so to wait for my scan next week

unicornpower · 27/01/2021 11:30

@CherylLW oh do keep us posted! Im wishing you all the luck in the world for your scan!

Brightspark12 · 27/01/2021 11:40

@Kirky658 I think I will be the same- i did 2 tests initially a clearblue normal then a digital to confirm. I have got a CB digital one that tells you how many weeks to do today then after that I am not doing anymore. X
Good luck to everyone having scans etc - I’m considering an early one- what does everyone think they’ll do?xx

I've booked an early scan for the 13th feb, just wish it would hurry up!

Flower95 · 27/01/2021 11:54

@Brightspark12 do you get a scan for your 8 week check with a midwife? I'm unsure tbh my doctors didn't tell me much apart from I need to book in for 8 weeks. I know nothing!

Kirky658 · 27/01/2021 12:01

@flower95 I don't think you get a scan til 12 weeks ish if you are a low risk pregnancy. I have my booking appt over the phone at 8weeks then got to go for bloods then scan schedule for 11.5 weeks x

Flower95 · 27/01/2021 12:07

@Kirky658 thank you. I was never informed of anything just that I have an appointment for 8 weeks! Good luck with your appointments and scans xx

CherylLW · 27/01/2021 12:09

@ChrAmbaby
Congratulations! That sounds right to me! I had my booking appointment over the phone at about 7 weeks and the midwife I spoke to booked me in for bloods a week later 😊

bluemagicalsky · 27/01/2021 12:11

I've just received my NHS 12 week scan appointment by letter. I'll be 12+3. Got my bloods appointment on the 3rd Feb where I'll be 7+3. DH is allowed at the scan, we didn't want to do private scans so this is such amazing news. Hope your local hospitals allow partners x
