Just catching up on the messages. Hi everyone!

Well my nausea came back and I have an early scan this week. Excited and nervous at the same time!

Really glad we can share with each other on here x

unicornpower · 26/01/2021 19:47

@Kirky658 yeah im wondering if we shouldve waited but i think I may be a little further along than that but just from LMP puts me at 6 +4. How are you feeling?

Kirky658 · 26/01/2021 19:59

@unicornpower if it was up to me and not my DH I'd be going this week as well 😂 don't worry. I'm okay, nausea is getting gradually worse, boobs still hurt and I have never known tiredness like it. I just keep worrying about my resting heart rate which I know is really stupid. How about you hun? X

unicornpower · 26/01/2021 20:20

@Kirky658 oh I wouldnt worry too much about your RHR, I havent noticed a change in mine to be honest with you! Can you ask the midwife?

Im feeling a little better now, I had awful nausea last week and over the weekend but the doctor gave me some medication to help as I couldn't keep a thing down and so far it seems to be working (touch wood!) I have sore boobs only sometimes, it seems to come and go but I feel like I've been hit by a train!

NommyChompers · 26/01/2021 20:21

@Sillysocks998 I am not vulnerable but in healthcare seeing lots of patients face to face (and partner works on COVID wards) so decided the vaccine risk was lower than the COVID risk. I know a lot of other pregnant healthcare staff who have also had the vaccine. The warnings are due to lack of evidence rather than known risks so do some reading and speak to your midwife and decide what is best for you :D

NommyChompers · 26/01/2021 20:22

@unicornpower good luck for the scan, let us all know how you get on!

MrsMcNtobe · 26/01/2021 20:34

@unicornpower when is your window to the womb appointment? Mine is tomorrow night and I don’t know whether to cry with excitement or anxiousness! That’s good to know about the full bladder though, I have been wondering about that

Kirky658 · 26/01/2021 20:49

@unicornpower I'm trying to ignore the rhr as for the most part it hasn't changed! Just today it dropped a lot but will see if it goes back to normal level tomorrow. What was your advice about the bladder for the scan BTW sorry didn't see that? X

@mrsmcntobe how exciting!!!! ❤️

MrsMcNtobe · 26/01/2021 20:52

@Kirky658 I’ll be 6+5 and I know it could be too early but I couldn’t help myself 😭

Kirky658 · 26/01/2021 20:54

@mrsmcntobe @unicornpower you two can tell me what you see if you don't mind sharing 😜 I know what I can expect then hehe.

Apologies if I miss any replies now ladies, it is about that time of night where I just zonk out.... Lol

MrsMcNtobe · 26/01/2021 20:55

@Kirky658 of course I’ll message tomorrow night! I’m trying to put it to the back of my mind so I can get a nice sleep, I’ve been zonked since lunch time today 😂😂

chenellecawthra · 26/01/2021 21:22

Hey ladies! First timer over here. I found of last week, my CB digi test was 3+ and inputting my first day of my last period, I'm due around 18th September! Had a MC a before but without knowing I was even pregnant so very nervous and overthinking every twinge or symptom I get. My worst fear is another MC :( seems like I've been waiting forever for the self referral midwife to get back to me I just need to know that I've got a viable pregnancy as soon as! Too much to ask for lol?!

Brightspark12 · 27/01/2021 07:46

Hiya guys! Can I join.. found out I was pregnant yesterday and am currently 4 weeks 6 days. Not going to lie I’m absolutely shitting myself 😂 I haven’t even rang the doctor yet! I keep getting loads of pressure down there like I would before my period... anyone else?

Brightspark12 · 27/01/2021 07:47

Also forgot to say my due date showing as 30th September 😬

Flower95 · 27/01/2021 07:56

@Brightspark12 Hello, I'm exactly the same time as you :). Congratulations! It's so scary isn't it? I'm having a lot of doubts going back and forward, I'm I doing the right thing. I don't have many symptoms as yet. Although I am on antibiotics for a water infection! Xx

unicornpower · 27/01/2021 08:03

@mrsmcntobe mine is on Sunday! Im so excited for you, im sure it'll all be okay. 6+5 sounds fine to me im sure you'll see something 🥰 did you sleep okay?

@kirky658 ohhhh I called them about the full bladder thing as it said on the form you need to go with a full bladder and then if they decide you need an internal they'll ask you to empty it. I want to go straight to the internal so asked if I needed to have a full bladder and they said yes as we have to fill in a pre screening form and once the sonographer has reviewed it they will tell us to empty our bladder or not! Annoying but okay haha

@Brightspark12 and @chenellecawthra congratulations both! Sending you all the love and positivity. Are you feeling okay?

Brightspark12 · 27/01/2021 08:03

@Flower95 congratulations! Yes it is... I’m so glad we have MN so I can talk to you guys! I feel exactly the same.. I am 30 but I don’t feel mature enough to be a mother 😂 so you’re feeling ok then so far? Xx

Kirky658 · 27/01/2021 08:10

@chenellecawthra I'm also due 18th September ❤️ congrats! Took the midwife nearly 2 weeks to call me so try not to worry.

@unicornpower ahhhhh gotcha, well a full bladder doesn't seem to be a problem atm 😉

@mrsmcntobe good luck today xx

Flower95 · 27/01/2021 08:11

@Brightspark12 .. I'm 29, turning 30 in November and I feel exactly the same lol. I feel like I'm still 18! Yeah I would say I'm feeling OK - tired a bit and I'm sleeping really good, making sure I get in a walk. I'm currently working from home so it can become lonely and that's
when I overthink everything. I rang my doctors last Friday when I found out and they booked me in for end of Feb as apparently the midwife only sees you 8 weeks on... I think I will be 9 weeks by then but the hospital I went for my water infection confirmed I was pregnant with a very faint line (they guessed I was only 2 weeks pregnant) but going off my last period I'm 4+6! How are you? Xxx

Hopefulmummie · 27/01/2021 08:16

Morning everyone :) does anyone else have extreme lower back pain at night this early on? The past few nights when I have been lying down and get up I can barely put my foot to the floor as it sends a shooting pain up to my lower back. It feels like a sciatic nerve

Brightspark12 · 27/01/2021 08:31

@Flower95 I feel the same! I would be the same if I was working from home- too much thinking time! I’m still in work which is taking my mind off things but im feeling really teary at the moment and I’m worried I’m going to start crying about something ridiculous at my desk and everyone be like WTF😂😂

Flower95 · 27/01/2021 08:34

@Brightspark12 I totally know what you mean. I think I've cried every day and like full on crying not just little tears actual sobbing and sometimes over the littlest things lol! I think we should be kinder to ourselves we are in lockdown and it's tough enough Xxx

Brightspark12 · 27/01/2021 08:37

@Hopefulmummie nothing like that from me yet but I do have a really achy back in general - and sort of pre period pains which people have told me are normal as your uterus is stretching. How far along are you xx

MrsMcNtobe · 27/01/2021 08:45

@unicornpower I actually slept the whole night thank god! Woke up had my usual tiny bit of sickness 😂 how are you feeling today? I’ll update you tonight, my appointment isn’t til 7:30

Kirky658 · 27/01/2021 09:06

@hopefulmummie I'm suffering with backache, was in a car accident a few years ago and apparently if you had a bad back before you are predisposed to pregnancy back pain (joy). I have to sit on the sofa at night propped up on cushions to get comfy as my back has been awful since my BFP really and working from home. Still getting minor crampy pains in lower tummy but midwife said unless really bad (ha she's clearly not got endometriosis) to just relax x
