@Hopefulmummie, how are you now?? I would say, if the pain and the bleeding stopped, you should not worry as these are common symptoms in early pregnancy.. However, if you still has the pain and/or bleeding, I would give a call to your GP. Considering your background of ectopic pregnancy, they may do some scan to check. How many weeks are you?

Bubbles1st · 25/01/2021 08:45

@Hopefulmummie oh that is a worry, how are things now? Have you called your called your GP first thing?

unicornpower · 25/01/2021 08:57

@Hopefulmummie I echo what @anitaB83 said, I would give your doctor a call and ask to be checked out at the EPU to just make sure you're okay. What were your symptoms of your ectopic before? I hope you're okay x

Hopefulmummie · 25/01/2021 09:17

@AnitaB83 @Bubbles1st @unicornpower

I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow. I don't have any pain today and when I wiped there it was only a bit of brown blood.
Im already booked in for a scan sat epu on Friday due to previous miscarriage and ectopic so if things don't get any worse I can just wait until then.
With my last ectopic I bled lightly for nearly a week then ended up in a & e one night with the pain I was in.the pain I had last night was no where near as bad as that it was really just a dull pain.
I know spotting is normal but I can't help worry as both my previous losses started out like this.
Thank you for the advice x

Bubbles1st · 25/01/2021 10:23

@Hopefulmummie really hope all is well with your early scan, it's only natural for you to be so concerned after your loss. Think positive and we are rooting for you.

Chica1990 · 25/01/2021 10:54

@Hopefulmummie you must be so anxious! I booked my scan early (also because of previous ectopic) quite early just for peace of mind it was in the right place, I think you will feel more reassured after you see them. I hope your week doesn’t drag too much for you and sending you positive vibes

Hopefulmummie · 25/01/2021 14:26

@Bubbles1st @Chica1990 thanks guys. No pain today thank god so hoping it was ligament pain. Still a bit of spotting when I wipe but it's completely brown so hoping it's old blood

JeccaP · 25/01/2021 15:50

@hopefulmummie Glad to hear you've no pain today. Roll on the early scan so you can have peace of mind Smile. I'm hoping to find out this week when mine will be.

@RadDarwazeh Just wondering did you get the vaccine? I work in social care so had the vaccine and then though 'crap I don't think I should have if we're trying' and read the guidance again which advised waiting. I was worrying so I only tested to put my mind at rest which is when I got the BFP! The midwife didn't seem too worried when I told her about the vaccine though, said, don't worry it's happened now, just delay the next one!

RadDarwazeh · 25/01/2021 16:01

Hi @JeccaP I chose not to get the vaccine. I'm lucky that I don't have any immunodeficiency or underlying health conditions. But it is personal choice of course Smile

JeccaP · 25/01/2021 16:46

@RadDarwazeh ah yes of course, pregnancy or not. Smile I was just wondering if anyone else was in the same boat who'd found out after they'd had it, as it had been a little worry at the back of my mind. Stay safe and hope you've not had any more cars to be pushing today! X

Flower95 · 25/01/2021 16:57

Hi

I’ve just found out I’m pregnant too. Wasn’t trying just if it happened it happened and by it did!

I’m 29 and 4+4. I have a water infection and feeling so overwhelmed. So many mixed emotions! I’m off my food totally. Feeling waves of sickness and a few cramping pains.

hippinghen · 25/01/2021 18:44

Gosh ladies I have just been for a short walk and now feel like I have been hit by a bus! I actually closed by eyes abs linked my husband as we walked around. Shock

AnitaB83 · 25/01/2021 19:25

@JeccaP and @RadDarwazeh, I am also a health care worker and I got pregnant between the two doses of the vaccine accidentally! I was due to have the second dose, I checked HPT the same day and BFN, and I got BFP two days after the second dose!! We did avoid the fertile days in December, but just had sex some days before so I may have ovulated earlier in December! 2 years TTC and I got pregnant in the only month when I should have not!

Flower95 · 25/01/2021 19:54

Me too! I felt a bit dizzy.
Kirky658 · 26/01/2021 07:33

@hippinghen I get like that, I'm a runner too and I've gone from Paula Radcliffe to a zombie in the space of a week 😂
I'm 6+3 now, nausea starting to kick in and can't stop napping. Oh and craving lots of cheese. Got early scan next week!

Don't know why I aren't getting notifications when anyone posts so lost you all for a bit... How's everyone doing x

unicornpower · 26/01/2021 08:59

@Hopefulmummie how are you today? I hope you're feeling better and the spotting is easing up?

Good luck to all those who have early scans this week! Im rooting for you all x

Sillysocks998 · 26/01/2021 09:26

Hi Everyone. I found out I was pregnant on 19th January and I'm due on 27th September 2021. I had a gush of red blood on 22nd Jan that lasted 15 mins. It was just one bout. Obviously then I thought I had MC. Nipples were stingy and had twinges prior to this gush of blood. My boobs hurt less now. I still have twinges. I haven't had any more blood since Saturday. Admittedly it was after masturbation (clitoral only) because these hormones are making me feel crazy sensetive down there. I have a private early scan booked this weekend. Not sure if I'm still pregnant 😢, it's my first pregnancy. Blamed myself for touching myself and was so depressed on Sunday. Has anyone had any similar experiences. I've read that many of you have said you've got to about 6 weeks and symptoms like breast tenderness have gone. I woke up today ravenous. I don't feel nautious and have only felt sleepy and back ache as symptoms. I did have a small bleed which I guess was implantation before I tested positive. Any shared experiences welcome x

Kirky658 · 26/01/2021 09:40

Also just to add I am 6+3 today had fluctuating symptoms last week and a couple of days not really feeling pregnant aside from the tiredness, then the nausea kicked in, shooting pains in boobs, they have grown again I'm sure! Can't stop craving cheese

Hopefulmummie · 26/01/2021 09:43

@unicornpower hi I'm feeling alot better today thank you. No pain at all yesterday and barely any spotting. It's only really now brown tinged discharge but barely noticeable. Woke up this morning and my sore boobs weren't as bad which had me worried but I know that's normal

How are you?

Hopefulmummie · 26/01/2021 09:45

@Sillysocks998 please don't blame yourself for your bleed. It is probably completely unrelated. My symtoms have came and gone too and today I barely have sore boobs but I've read it's normal so try not to worry. Hope everything goes OK at your scan

Sillysocks998 · 26/01/2021 10:03

@Hopefulmummie thanks so much. The bleed happened at the same time pretty much. I was so down. I felt contraction type pain on the right hand side just before the bleed. So it was all very weird. I thought I'd hurt the embryo. I have read since women so bleed after sex when pregnant. My husband doesnt want to have sex. I have my scan Sunday so I'll let you know how it's gone. I'm glad you're better too. Do you have an early scan? Let us know too. It's probably the only way to know that everything is OK in these early days. Xxx

Hopefulmummie · 26/01/2021 10:19

@Sillysocks998 yeah it's pretty normal to bleed and it says you can't harm anything.
Yeah I have a scan on friday due to previous miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy.
I was spotting a bit yesterday but it seems to have stopped so hoping it was nothing and it stays away x

Kirky658 · 26/01/2021 10:34

@sillysocks998 orgasms can apparently cause contraction like pains. So I would try not to worry. I know it's easier said than done.
@hopefulmummie glad it has stopped now.

The thing I keep worrying about is my resting hear rate of all things!!! I heard it is meant to increase during early pregnancy which it did at first then keeps going up maybe 1 bpm. Then down again next day. Up again next day. Really weird!

Sillysocks998 · 26/01/2021 10:44

@hopefulmummie @kirky658

Thank you both for your reassurances. 💕. @hopefulmummie let us know how your scan is on Friday. Prayers for you x @kirky658 I apparently have a heart murmur. Only found out in October. I find my heart is racing sometimes only for a brief few minutes then it goes back to normal. I can't say I've noticed daily changes. Pregnancy makes you look and feel every little change, we begin questioning everything. I was saying to my husband, we begin worrying about our children from the day they are conceived. I hope both of you are well and reach the first milestone soon. Im 36 and have been ttc for 2 years. I've also got a complex medical history including a transplant, anti rejection drugs that I still have to take so my pregnancy will be high risk. I think I need to leave myself alone as well 😂❤️ and not add to the worry. Sending love x

Kirky658 · 26/01/2021 10:48

@sillysocks998 absolutely it is natural to worry as the midwife tells me! I'm 27 next month, I am very fortunate that we conceived after 6 months ttc, after I had extensive surgery for endometriosis last June. I had a previous surgery in 2018 which was unsuccessful so I'm glad this one has appeared to work!
Take care of yourself that all sounds so difficult ❤️
