@AnitaB83 im a day behind you so 6+1, maybe if you conceived on or after ovulation day yesterday was too early for 3+ to show, don't be stressing

AnitaB83 · 23/01/2021 10:43

@Snuggles66 thanks. I thought I should have got 3+ last week (last week I was 5 weeks, it would have been exactly 3 weeks after conception) and because of this I was hoping to get the 3+ this week at least... Anyways I have read these are not that reliable and yesterday I did not test with FMU.

I am trying to keep my mind busy looking at online shops hahaha.. however, I do not want to buy anything in case I am not be able to use it later!

I hope everything is going well with you:)!!

I'm actually manifesting for a healthy and happy pregnancy and birth so trying not to worry too much, I believe manifesting is what led to my pregnancy so trusting the universe and Mother Nature best I can.

Snuggles66 · 23/01/2021 10:56

@AnitaB83 yea dont stress too much over those tests, I only had one left and done it last Sunday and it said 2-3wks so thats me done with them. It's hard to balance the excitement and be a bit cautious.
You're right @Bubbles1st happy thoughts! My partner keeps saying change all those stressful thoughts into happy ones and live in the moment, you can't control what's going on insideSmile

AnitaB83 · 23/01/2021 11:12

@Bubbles1st and @Snuggles66, totally agree!!:)

JeccaP · 23/01/2021 13:16

Happy weekend all! Hope you're all good. I've found the same as a lot of you have mentioned, that symptoms have come and gone and was getting a little worried. Then today when we were taking some rubbish to the local tip, I saw an old cuddly toy laying on his side on the floor and I burst out crying! DP couldn't stop laughing. Anyone else feeling more emotional than usual?

Yes! I have burst out crying inconsolably twice now and I just feel sort of down. It's annoying me as I'm so happy to be pregnant but I think I'm feeling overwhelmed and worried.
unicornpower · 23/01/2021 13:33

For all the ladies worried about test progression, I saw this table of how much HCG can vary from pregnancy to pregnancy! There's quite a big band of whats normal so I wouldnt worry too much. I know plenty of ladies who have never got a 3+ and their babies are fine. Try not to worry ❤

@mrandmrslobster and @JeccaP I feel really emotional too! I feel quite down as I can't see my parents due to lockdown and sometimes I feel so sick I just really want my mum 😢 I cried at the crown last night and my dog looked cute earlier and I almost burst into tears too

I don't mean to laugh but the thought of crying at how cute your dog is cheered me up Grin

I'm more likely to burst into tears every time my cat scratches to get in the living room. Then scratches to get out. Then in and out as nauseam Angry

unicornpower · 23/01/2021 13:41

@mrandmrslobster hahah glad to be of service! Hes a labrador and has perfected the puppy stare and sometimes he just melts me how cute he is 🤣 hahaha cats being annoying is definitely not what you need when you feel fragile

Fi2612 · 23/01/2021 13:50

@Bubbles1st

Morning, I don't really have any symptoms anymore like they were when I found out. Boobs are bit sore but not as much as they were. Stomach feels a bit achy sometimes. Only had one wave of nausea when I was hungry in Tesco and hot in a mask.

However can I sleep? Hardly, can I get
Comfortable hardly! Am I tired very!

I'm leaning more and more towards an early scan for some peace of mind that up to now all is as it should be.

This is the current symptoms I have. I only really feel nausea when I’m hungry, so before lunchtime and dinner time.

I’ve had terrible sleeps for 2 weeks now with crazy dreams, sore boobs and I’m so grumpy. My husband looks at me and I bite his head off. He will love be over the next 7 months 😂

How far along are you @Bubbles1st?

RadDarwazeh · 23/01/2021 14:16

Hi all. I'm also experiencing sore boobs and tiredness. I took myself to bed yday and DH said this morning when he came up the cat was guarding me. How adorable haha! Let's hope we all get good restful asleep while we can, ladies xx

Sophiederuges · 23/01/2021 14:19

@AnitaB83 and @Bubbles1st Like you, my symptoms have heavily subsided. I do worry, though I'm trying not too. I'm not even that tired. But then it's been a week since my levothyroxine increase so it could very well be the meds kicking in (I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis).

If you're tired, it's a good sign. It's the progesterone making you this tired, and since it's supposed to increase, it's common to feel tired.

With regards to the CB week indicator: I never got the 3+ with my first and she's now a bouncy 6 yo Wink

Bubbles1st · 23/01/2021 14:30

@Fi2612 I'm 6+5

Found out two weeks ago and already feels like it gone quickly but dragged if that makes sense!

JeccaP · 23/01/2021 16:04

@unicornpower ah that's so sweet, that cheered me up too!

@mrandmrslobster Haha I feel you with the kitty! Still wondering how I'll break the news to my two that they won't be sleeping on our bed soon.Smile

Sorry to hear you've both been feeling low at times, not seeing people makes it especially hard. Fingers crossed things will ease soon. X

mrandmrslobster · 23/01/2021 17:37

@JeccaP

I'm sure it's not helped by the lockdown. I'm not working as much as I usually would be and I think the lack of distraction is getting to me. I'm also still at the "can't quite believe it" stage and honestly feel like it won't sink in til I have the 12 week scan and then start showing a visible bump!

KGH5121 · 23/01/2021 19:11

@NommyChompers I've had to wear a mask at work so that is hiding the faces I'm pulling when I feel like I might be sick. I find sucking mints and taking deep breaths can work (some of the time)

Bubbles1st · 23/01/2021 19:28

I've just seen a new thread for October babies!!

This have filled me with joy that we are already moving on with our journeys and others are just beginning!

How is everyone belly's!

I am a big girl anyway and I feel bloated quickly now after eating but I feel huge! I'm sure I'll be looking pregnant pretty soon.

Olinguita · 23/01/2021 19:51

I love this approach. I have an inclination for worrying (and yes, Googling everything that could go wrong) but I making a real effort now to shift my mindset to stay calm and positive. My mantra from my Mum after I told her I was pregnant is "your body knows what it's doing" and I have that on repeat right now in my head :)
Bubbles1st · 23/01/2021 19:57

@Olinguita yes that's is like my daily affirmation-
My body is designed to grow a baby
Others are
I trust Mother Nature and the universe

I am a strong and capable woman

I am getting healthier every day (usually a poor diet)

I know I loved seeing there was an October thread! Maybe time is going quicker than we think 😂

I’m piling on the pounds! Def have a belly tonight but that could be from my curry.

I’m surprised I could eat the curry as I find I’m hungry all the time but don’t fancy anything and it’s horrible! But can face a curry, coronation chicken sandwich and I find I can stomach sweet stuff at the moment. I’m usually 46kg and if I keep up with the sugary things I’m going to put on a lot of weight 🙃 all for a good cause!

Bubbles1st · 24/01/2021 00:18

@Chica1990 you are tiny! I'm not proud to say I'm more than twice that, thank goodness you can find some appetite during this crucial time.

I'm hoping I don't pile to much on, I am big enough already and my appetite is massively reduced - for now! However got lots of goodies for my birthday today so we will see.

If I could sleep better I think the time would feel quicker, it's just the constant waking up making it drag for me I think the most.

mrandmrslobster · 24/01/2021 00:22

Hello all! Hope everyone is keeping well.

I have a question about vitamins. What is everyone taking? I'm taking folic acid and vitamin d. I started taking the folic acid when I came off the pill. The vitamin d I've been talking for the past couple of years. On top of this I take a liquid formula which is iron/vitamin c/and a vitamin b mixture combined.

I don't take anything else. Just try to eat as healthy and balanced as I can.

What are your thoughts?

I also wonder if anyone will continue to take folic acid throughout their pregnancy rather than stopping at the 12 week mark.

CherylLW · 24/01/2021 08:55

Hey @mrandmrslobster

I was also wondering the same, I take the sevenseas multi pregnancy vitamin. About 6 weeks before I was pregnant I was taking just folic acid but then went up to the multi vitamin.

When I had my booking appointment they said I could take the multi vitamin all the way through as it’s got everything I need in there.
I’m struggling with what I eat at the moment as the thought of veg makes me queasy!

What do you think you’ll do?
