I really can't decide whether to tell our parents tomorrow or not with being so early! I'm just over 6 weeks and last time we didn't tell them until we had a scan to show at almost 10 weeks.

DOB78 · 24/12/2020 15:39

I'll be 5 weeks tmora but we're happy and want to share it everyone. What will be will be and telling people won't change it. I understand why you're reluctant but at least if close family know they can support you whatever the outcome x

We've done the same! Told both sets and parents and best friend - wanted to share some happy news and will need their support either way

Me again, I had my follow up bloods done today which more than doubled. They re-scanned me and found a little sac in my womb! Hurrah, so no ectopic. Nothing more to be seen, reckoning I'm around 5 weeks so going back in a week to hopefully see a little lentil in there 🤞🏼

Merry Christmas ladies. How did it go telling your partners/families x

That's great news @NikkiD88 do you feel more at ease now you've seen it? I've got my 8 week scan on 5th Jan and I can't wait!

I'm 7 weeks today and have some cramping which I haven't had since 4.5/5 weeks so feel apprehensive again. It's more of an ache than cramping, really weird feeling. Also feel really sick these past few days. No Xmas dinner for me today 🙁

Definitely feel more at ease... I'll feel ever better when I get to see a little healthy baby in there next week (hopefully).

Cramping is totally normal through all early pregnancy. Body's adjusting, ligaments stretching, baby settling etc. I've been having the same on and off. And obviously I've googled the life out of every last little twinge I feel 😭

melly76x · 27/12/2020 08:16

Nausea has kicked in for me this morning 🤢 not actually been sick yet but don't think it will be long! I only ordered more tests last night as I was worried I had no symptoms 🙈

Allicit · 27/12/2020 09:07

I've just found out I'm pregnant (3 days before Christmas! Was a bit of a shock even though we had been trying) According to NHS website I'm due 29th August. Kind of praying I'm late and give birth in September. Absolutely terrified as this is my first child and first pregnancy. I called the doctor's but they told me not to bother calling them back until I was at least 7 weeks! It's such an odd experience, just waiting for everything to get going when I know my body is probably working quite hard at the moment.

Morning ladies. How is everyone feeling xx

We told our moms Xmas day and our siblings and they came round to watch our daughter open presents. The reactions were priceless 😂😂

We've told noone yet except my sister! I really thought my in-laws would twig as we spent Christmas with them but I really don't think they've guessed. Got a scan at 8 weeks on 9th January so might tell people after that.

I'm six weeks today and starting to feel a bit nauseous which sucks.

seensome · 27/12/2020 11:36

Bfp yesterday due 30th August, unplanned, was 6 days late so had a feeling but wanted to rule it out so took a test and 3+ weeks on cb. Gave the test to my completely unsuspecting Dh 😂 he took the news well. Still in shock that if all goes well I'll have a baby by this time next year. My 4th his 1st.

mommyofone2019 · 27/12/2020 14:00

Used the last of my tests today....

BFP - due August 2021

@seensome huge congrats! We share the same due date ☺️

I haven't had any more sickness since last week but I have been SO tired the last few days. Never felt so exhausted before. I told my partner on Christmas morning, he was shocked but so excited. We've decided not to tell anyone else yet although we are dying to.

thelessiknow · 27/12/2020 14:19

@Allicit @seensome congratulations!!

I haven’t called the doctor yet - going to wait until they reopen on Tuesday. Still can’t really believe it tbh and trying not to get too overexcited. I’ve had a couple of waves of nausea but have mainly just been SO tired (but still unable to sleep at nights, ffs!). We’ve also decided not to tell anyone yet. Actually finding it a little hard to hide already - I’d planned to do a long run with some friends from my running club tomorrow which I’m not sure is a particularly good idea as I’m exhausted 😒

seensome · 27/12/2020 20:25

Thank you, good luck all x

SAHX · 29/12/2020 12:47

Hey how’s everyone feeling?
I’m 6 weeks today and not really feeling much on and off cramping and sore boobs but sickness that I had has kinda gone I think it was more nerves

mommyofone2019 · 29/12/2020 14:13

Hey @SAHX I'm not far behind you. I'm 5 weeks & 3 days! Not really had any symptoms yet, just tiredness. Comes to the evening and I'm spent!

mommyofone2019 · 29/12/2020 14:15

We have booked a private scan for when I'm 8 weeks on the 16th January. So excited for this but also terrified. I remember the feeling of going to my daughters 1st scan when I was 10 weeks. I've never felt so sick in my whole life. The nerves beforehand were unreal x

OP posts:
SAHX · 29/12/2020 14:30

@mommyofone2019 omg yes I’m very nervous for our private scan it’s on the 9th January I’ll be 7+4 weeks so nearly 8 I couldn’t get one for ages so I just took the earlier one. Want to make sure everything’s where it should be. My symptoms are so on and off I’m just relying on the fact Iv had no bleeding so that’s always a positive

thelessiknow · 29/12/2020 14:34

@SAHX 5+1 for me and feeling the same! I said to my husband this morning I kind of wish I felt a bit worse as then it might feel more real 🤣🤣 will 100% regret that in a few weeks’ time I’m sure!

Palm55 · 29/12/2020 14:42

I just got positive tests yesterday, I took 2 digital and one regular tests all were positive. I believe I will be due at the end of August! I was shocked when I found out still doesn’t feel real yet!
