BFP - due August 2021

Hi ladies 👋🏻
Today I got my bfp at 9DPO. are there anymore mommies to be's on here who are due august 2021 ❤️

I live here in n.Ireland and where I am we don't get any midwife app at 8weeks or anything....we have ours all in one day at the 12-14 weeks scan. (1st scan) its such an anxious wait! Although looking forward to our private one this Friday! Why is time going so slow....

I also feeling like time is going so slowww. I just want to hear from the midwife. I'm really struggling with anxiety tbh & hoping for a bit of reassurance from them. it never even entered my head that my partner might not be able to come to any scans or appointments now I really hope that's not the case as I'm going to find it very difficult if I have to go on my own. I'm sorry to be a moaner & seem to put a downer on this thread, I know everyone is in the same situation but I didn't think the early stages would be so hard!

I had my midwife appointment today face to face at 8 weeks. Bloods took and urine sample now just to wait for a letter with a date for my first scan! She said any time between 11-14 weeks but hoping it's sooner rather than later.

I really wish my symptoms would come and go mine have been full on for a week now iv never felt so poorly. The nausea is killing me!!!!

Hey! This has happened to me this week, I’m suppose to be 8 weeks 5 days but I’m worrying because I’m lacking the symptoms I was getting. How you doing today any changes?x

You ladies are so lucky seeing a midwife face to face so early! I was told on the phone when I first called about being pregnant, and it was in the paper work I received yesterday, that I won't see a midwife face to face until 28 weeks!!!!

Anyone had any cravings yet?

Today is the day, private scan this evening! Fingers crossed all is OK after many a heartache. As long as I see a beating heart then I'll be happy and I can wait patiently until our 12week scan. Anyone else getting scanned today?

Hi, I just got back from my private scan all was well, she measured me at 7 weeks 6 days. I thought I was 8 weeks 3 days so only 4 days behind. She said days could catch up by the 12 week scan. She said everything is good for the dates. Good luck for your scan keep us upto date x

@nikkid88 I had spotting when I wiped at 4 weeks then again and 5 weeks. I stopped checking after that cos it was driving me crazy checking all the time. Hope your ok x

Hi guys! Just back from our private this evening. All is looking great, good healthy heart beat! Delighted. I thought I was 6w5 but measured at 6w2 but they said baby was tucked into the side and measurements might not be accurate! Have to relive those three days again lol. But so happy we have a beating heart! Xx

Hey ladies. How is everyone?

I'm 7 weeks 2 days today and have my "early bird appointment" tomorrow for bloods and observations. Then will have a follow up telephone call 2 weeks after that with the midwife. Saturday we have a private reassurance scan booked, so nervous I feel sick! Hope everything is ok and how it should be 🤞🏻

I'm 7 week + 1 today, feeling okay but unfortunately I had a bleed yesterday. it was after a bm (sorry tmi) & there were clots so feeling a bit worried. went away pretty much straight after, I've had a bit of browny discharge today but I'm guessing that's what's left over from last night, however I stupidly took a test this morning to try & reassure myself but it was lighter than other tests I've done, so made me feel worse. spoke to EPU & they didn't want to know really, said it could be anything & to just monitor it so I've booked a private scan for Wednesday evening. praying for good news! X

Hey ladies! We had a scan at 7 weeks 4 days measured at 7 weeks 3 days strong heartbeat. I wanted a internal scan so it was clearer but that did it abdominal and tbh we saw so much ❤️
12 week scan booked for 9th feb
And met with midwife and done bloods ect. All going well.

Symptoms
Sometimes all I want to do is eat other times food makes me want to vomit!
Boobs hurt on and off
Sickness is on and off
And cramping is a lot less but still there sometimes which panics me.

How’s everyone else getting on?

@SAHX awww that’s so lovely! 🥰 I had a private scan yesterday at 7 weeks 3 days but measuring 7 weeks 2 days. abdominal too & saw everything clearly. how amazing is it to see the heartbeat?! my mw has still not been in touch so if I haven’t heard anything by Monday I’m gonna give docs another call. glad you’re all booked in, bet you can’t wait for your 12 wk scan! X

I had a scan yesterday, measuring 6 days behind at 8+4 but my periods have always been very irregular and I had no idea when I ovulated (just a bit gutted I have to relive a week) saw baby's heartbeat and have another scan booked in 2 weeks time on 29th.

Symptoms
Constant nausea, especially worse on a night although iv not once actually been sick
On and off constipation
Hungry but can't bare to eat anything when it's in front of me
Only want to drink fizzy drinks which is so unlike me
Bloating is so uncomfortable, I look 30 weeks!
And every time I sit down I fall asleep

Can't wait to feel normal again!!

Haha my symptoms are identical haha although sometimes I do feel okay for like a couple hours then I’m like urgh again I have been sick a few times.
The sleepy thing is mad! It always takes me a while to get to sleep so I don’t actually fall asleep when I sit down but I’m so tired! Even if Iv had like 10 hours sleep. I go to bed around 9pm every day haha.

@sophia0 hey! Yeah feeling okay, 9 weeks 4 days todAy and this week has been harddddd been sick every day headaches and super tired but weirdly woke up feeling better today and it’s panicked me haha!
My boobs were hurting so much now not much at all so weird! Hope it doesn’t mean anything still feeling a bit sick.

Hey, I'm 10 weeks 1 day and spotting again. Its red as well. It started Friday then seemed to have stopped yesterday but back again today. Think I'll call midwife tomorrow see what they say. I've had spotting at 5 weeks before but it was pink and only when I wiped. Not got a good feeling to be honest. My next scan isn't for another 2 weeks hopefully they will see me earlier :(

@sophia0 honestly as long as it isn’t lots and you don’t have bad cramping I would try not to worry but definitely call the midwife and ask for an early scan 2 weeks is ages I know if I was spotting I would want to check everything okay. Maybe even get a private scan? I know they cost but totally worth it! Xxx

@sahx thank you for replying. I had a private scan at 7 weeks 6 days and seen the heartbeat. I put a pad on last night and today it's more a brownish discharge (sorry tmi) I'm going to call today see what they say.
