Fancy keeping me company? How are you doing?

Was my due date today, from my ovulation date I actually think it's more like this weekend though tbh.

Not feeling too bad tbh pretty relaxed about it all this time round except the excessive texts and phone calls from people since last week "any sign of baby yet?" - fuck off!!!

Have my essential oil diffuser on with lavender and clary sage and just waiting for my dh to come and give me a foot rub.

Sending labour vibes to everyone due now.

That sucks @phe694. My midwife said if I end up having to have an induction I can stay on the birth centre as long as it's just the pessary, but if it ends up being the drip it'll be labour ward, which I'm not looking forward to.

phe694 · 04/12/2020 13:51

@Stargazer87 im really hoping she comes before, especially with having to have a covid test on the monday too 😣

Stargazer87 · 04/12/2020 13:53

Oh no, that's such a shame @phe694 Although I've heard that hospitals can still change things around on labour wards to give you a bit more of a birth centre experience if you make it clear that's what you're looking for...

phe694 · 04/12/2020 13:56

@Stargazer87 hopefully she'll come before hand and i won't have to go to the main hospital 🙈 i read on there website that if your on a ward partners can only visit for 2 hours at a time, or 12-6 if you have a side room 😣

Stargazer87 · 04/12/2020 13:59

@phe694 Fingers crossed! Although those rules are better than a lot of hospitals, at mine my husband can't be with me at all for the induction until I'm in established labour and then after the birth it's no visiting at all on the ward...😢

phe694 · 04/12/2020 14:01

@Stargazer87 omg really?? that's so sad 😣😣

Stargazer87 · 04/12/2020 14:03

@phe694 Yeah and I'm only in a tier 2 area, I've heard a lot of tier 3 areas aren't even that strict, it's crazy how rules differ all over the place!

phe694 · 04/12/2020 14:05

@Stargazer87 i live in wales, but will be going to a hospital thats in tier 2, but they've kept there website updated which is good!

41weekswithno2 · 04/12/2020 20:22

He was born around 4pm today, got to the hospital around 1.30pm. He's very sweet Smile

well after being told yesterday i'd need an induction, my little girl was born at 1:06pm, a very quick labour 😳 and she was born completely in her sac!

41weekswithno2 · 05/12/2020 19:42

addler · 05/12/2020 20:10

Wow congratulations @phe694! That was fast! Hope you're feeling well Thanks

addler · 05/12/2020 20:14

We did set up the birthing space in the end, trying to feel more positive about it. Still not much has happened since last night except that sort of heavy ache in your lower back you get before your period has been off and on all day whereas it's been maybe once a day for most of the week. No period-type cramps though.

But I've been feeling a lot better mentally so that's something. And I do love looking around the room now, so I'm glad we did it.

@addler That looks like such a beautiful room set-up!

phe694 · 05/12/2020 22:23

@Stargazer87 i'm doing great thanks lovely!
@addler that looks so relaxing!😍😍

Stargazer87 · 06/12/2020 07:21

Those still waiting for your babies - how are you feeling? I'm at that stage where I'm feeling quite deflated and that she's never going to come naturally...😩

addler · 06/12/2020 11:51

I sort of flop between feeling alright and happy to wait and feeling like I'll be pregnant forever and will never go into labour naturally. I just wish I had more signs something was changing.

Stargazer87 · 06/12/2020 12:06

I'm willing to give anything a go today...any ideas send them my way! 🤣

Cookalia · 06/12/2020 16:07

I'm 40+4 today so not that far over but nothing seems to be happening at all! I've had some light back period pains but I've been having them since 37 weeks so trying not to read into them.

But trying everything - spicy food, walking, bouncing on a ball, even sex but nothing. Sweep mid next week if nothing happens

So bored of being pregnant now
