Same! Its just taken me an hour to do the dishes! 😂 and there weren't that many! But as soon as I started she wanted a nappy change, did that then she wanted feeding, then cuddles 😂 I love spending any time with her but it does make life harder 😂

My due date is about two weeks after ds's 2nd birthday, so I'm counting that as two under basically two, lol
Yay @Char899, was sending good vibes your way earlier

Is anyone else finding wearing a mask more difficult now?

Bellaphant · 19/12/2020 18:08

....my mum and dad, who we were going to for Xmas, have just gone into tier 4. I'm so so gutted. Plus, our scan was booked in for being at theirs, so that's not happening now. I can't even process this news: how's everyone else doing?

FTMF30 · 19/12/2020 18:44

@Bellaphant It's all just a shambles isn't. We're fortunate enough not to be affected (tier 3 and was just planning to go to my mum's for just Christmas day anyway) but it's all very unnerving.

I was quite optimistic that things would be somewhere near normal by the time we had our babies but now I'm not so sure.

@Char899 Glad your scan was ok Smile

Char899 · 19/12/2020 20:28

Thanks all :)

We have just been plunged into tier 4 too so that’s our Christmas ruined. We were hosting this year and now everything’s been cancelled! I’m still actually in shock!

Mommabear20 · 20/12/2020 12:14

Oh no! I'm so sorry for everyone having to cancel Christmas plans! We're in tier 2 and thankfully with the plans we have it doesn't affect them. Hope you all find some way to celebrate that works for you and hoping it's better by next year 🤞🤞

Hi guys hope you don't mind but I wanted to jump on the thread. I'm 32 about 7 weeks pregnant with my first due beginning of August all being well and I feel shocking! I've had to go off work due to nausea and diarrhea and just wondered if anyone else was experiencing this.

Bellaphant · 21/12/2020 12:16

@Laurajane8, loads of us are struggling more this time! Was really looking forward to going to my mum's and having a bit of a break, lol. We are all second timers though.

I managed to rebook a scan for tomorrow, but the other place is keeping my deposit: hoping I can have a scan around 30 weeks, as last time I remember really wanting to check in on Ds around then!

@Char899, did you get any pics?

A few people in my church have been affected by the tier four thing, so I've offered to host. I might be crazy...

FTMF30 · 21/12/2020 15:54

@Laurajane8 I've been suffering terribly from nausea. Luckily not with diarrhoea. Both things are normal in early pregnancy, particularly the first trimester. If you're lucky, you should feel much better by the second trimester (or even perhaps a litt before if you're really lucky!)

EasyPeasyHappyCheesy · 21/12/2020 18:07

I'm due in mid July with my second. My 1st is 3. The sickness this time has been horrible. I tried sickness tablets but they did not agree with me so Im on nothing.

Mommabear20 · 22/12/2020 07:26

Is anyone else struggling with a lack of sympathy from their husband?
Seriously, with our first, he couldn't do enough! He was washing dishes, take the dogs out when it was my turn, doing laundry, hugging me when I was sick, and then this time, I was being sick yesterday morning and the fucker just puts the football on to drown me out! Wtf???

@Mommabear20 My DP has actually been great. He was even supportive when I had a complete melt down/ panic attack when I found out I was pregnant with this PLANNED baby and was second guessing whether I actually wanted it Hmm.

I think I am a professional moaner though. He hears about how tired, nauseous and general fed up I feel about 100X a day. He's probably hoping as much as I do that things improve come the 2nd trimester.

Bellaphant · 22/12/2020 12:38

Had my scan, all looks good. Put me at 8+4 instead of 8+6 but that's fine!

It's all squished up in the very bottom left corner, exactly where Ds was :)

popcorndiva · 22/12/2020 17:18

Ah fab @Char899 and @Bellaphant 9n your scans. Mine is tomorrow and we have come up with an emergency dentist story to fool the inlaws so they will look after DS but not guess. Will be so glad when both sets of parents know.

Char899 · 22/12/2020 18:02

@Bellaphant mines in same place as ds too, was lovely to see! I was also measuring a day behind. Was measuring exactly 8 weeks when I was 8+1 but as you say pretty normal. Good luck tomorrow @popcorndiva so exciting!

shelbyrae · 22/12/2020 18:35

Congrats all! I'm due around 12 August

stripytiger09 · 23/12/2020 10:06

Hello! I'm due 28/7, second baby. First baby is 15 months and I'm 9+1 with this one. Feeling like death so far!! Lots of nausea and vomiting, and completely exhausted Confused

popcorndiva · 23/12/2020 11:34

Doctor has rung and my urine sample showed i had an infection so now on antibiotics and it maybe explains why I am still feeling super rough. Scan in a few hours

PurpleFlower1983 · 23/12/2020 11:46

I’m expecting my second on 1st August Grin

popcorndiva · 23/12/2020 16:17

Scan was perfect, strong heartbeat, and they were moving their stubby arms and legs. Dated as 9w +2 so now due 26th July

FTMF30 · 23/12/2020 17:29

@popcorndiva Great news! What was your initial due date before the 26th July one?

Blughbablugh · 23/12/2020 17:51

Can I join please? I have a 3 year old dd and pregnant with my second. I had my 12 week scan this morning and everything looking good, due 2nd July Smile

popcorndiva · 23/12/2020 17:59

28th July so moved 2 days ahead but may move back by the 12 week scan

FTMF30 · 23/12/2020 18:17

@popcorndiva Oh yes, forgot it was an early scan!

How does everyone feel about having summer babies? There was a thread a while back about a mum in turmoil over whether to keep her DD back a year for Y1 to prevent her being at a social/academic disadvantage. I'm personally glad I managed to squeeze mine in when I have so he/she doesn't have to wait a whole extra year to start school!

Congratulations to new people on the thread 😊.

Mommabear20 · 23/12/2020 18:59

@FTMF30 I'm more bothered about the chance of giving birth during a heat wave 😂
