@Mommabear20 Shock he is lucky!

Bellaphant · 09/12/2020 21:22

@Mommabear20, I keep asking mine why it isn't his turn this time. What did you take last time?

DP2019 · 09/12/2020 21:51

Hi girls - can I join ?
Congratulations to everybody :)

I'm 7 + 4 today with my second baby. My daughter is 22 months. Due Aprox 24th July 2021.

Oh my .... this last couple of weeks have wiped me out. Nausea, dizziness, headaches and just no energy to move off the sofa so feeling major guilt on my toddler who just wants me to play. Anyone done anything that helps them to feel better ?

I do remember feeling poorly with my first but I thought it was because the first trimester was in the middle of the UK heatwave (apparently not haha).

I would love to chat with others along our journey xx

Mommabear20 · 10/12/2020 07:37

@Bellaphant he made up for it big time when he came home 😂 my kitchen is now spotless! 😁
I was/am on cyclizine hydrochloride. Have an appointment (by phone) with the doctor on Saturday morning to see if there's something else I can try.

Congrats everyone! Can I join please? Found it yesterday I'm due my second around 21st August. I have a nearly 17 month old DD. Still getting my head around it and it's very early days for me so feeling normal so far. I suffered with terrible nausea , but no actual sickness, last time so hoping to avoid it this time.

FTMF30 · 10/12/2020 11:24

@WatermelonKisses Contgrats! I hope you manage to avoid it too. I'm suffering terrible nausea this time around after a pretty easy first pregnancy. I will definitely be stopping at 2. I don't know how people manage 3+ pregnancies if any of them have been difficult. If I had this the first time around, I'm sure I would be in the "one and done" camp!

Mommabear20 · 10/12/2020 12:07

@FTMF30 I said never again right up until my DD was put into my arms! 😂 now 6 weeks into my second pregnancy and I've told my husband even if I suggest another, he has to tell me NO!!! 😂

FTMF30 · 10/12/2020 12:59

@Mommabear20 I've given my DH the same instructions 😂.

HappyPotato · 10/12/2020 13:03

I hope it's okay to join you! I found out this morning, due around 19th August so very early days! My daughter is 17 months and I was sick the whole way through with my last pregnancy so hoping for some relief this time around!

olderthanyouthink · 10/12/2020 13:12

Just had a scan and I'm not 13w+1 as dates suggested I'm about 6w+4. Gone from a June baby to an August baby!

I knew the EDD would be out but not by that much.

WatermelonKisses · 10/12/2020 13:25

@FTM it does make it so difficult, hope it doesn't last. I felt ok in the second trimester but it came back in the third 😭

@HappyPotato congrats! Looks like we've got a similar due date and both have similar aged daughters! My little one will be 17 months next week.

I'm starting to freak out, I just took a test (FRER) and it was completely blank, no control line or anything. Hopefully just a dodgy test as took the other one yesterday. I've not taken a digital yet so off to get one now. I still can't believe I'm pregnant.

FTMF30 · 10/12/2020 14:27

@WatermelonKisses Oh God, I hope it doesn't come back in 3rd trimester.

I'm having the same symptoms as @DP2019. Nothing is helping! I've been fortunate enough to be able to have an afternoon nap as DH is off work. I don't know how I'm going to cope when he goes back 😣.

FTMF30 · 10/12/2020 14:29

@watermelonkisses Hopefully it's a dodgy test like you said. Let us know how you get on 💐

olderthanyouthink · 10/12/2020 14:43

@WatermelonKisses no lines at all sounds like a duff test, try not to worry, lines don't just vanish

WatermelonKisses · 10/12/2020 14:52

Thanks guys, I got a CB digital and it came back Pregnant 1-2, phew! I knew that it was a dodgy test but there's always that fear isn't there especially when I don't feel pregnant yet.

popcorndiva · 10/12/2020 14:56

ooh how have I only noticed this thread

Due second on July 28th have a DS who will be 3 next September so nearly 3 year gap.

Struggling badly with nausea and sickness though think I have worked out Dairy is a trigger so no more butter, milk and cheese for now

FTMF30 · 10/12/2020 15:33

@WatermelonKisses Good to hear!

FTMF30 · 10/12/2020 15:35

@HappyPotato

I hope it's okay to join you! I found out this morning, due around 19th August so very early days! My daughter is 17 months and I was sick the whole way through with my last pregnancy so hoping for some relief this time around!
God I hope I'm not sick the whole way through! I couldn't cope. I hope you get some relief this time around too🙂.
Bellaphant · 10/12/2020 16:58

@WatermelonKisses , @HappyPotato, mine is about to be 17months, but a Ds. He does 3 days at nursery, and I'm looking forward to being able to nap after work tomorrow while he's there!

Yeah, I was still being sick a few times a week all the way through pregnancy, but it wasn't anything like this bad. It has put me off n3 though!!

@olderthanyouthink, how strange, thats a whole cycle different!

olderthanyouthink · 10/12/2020 17:05

@Bellaphant I only had one period since DD was born and they had never been regular anyway so I knew it was always going to be a bit out. I'm not surprised just a bit annoyed that I'm not closer to "glowy"

Char899 · 10/12/2020 17:14

@olderthanyouthink that’s crazy! I’d feel cheated being set back that many weeks lol

@WatermelonKisses nothing better than seeing it in words! Makes it much more real I think!

WatermelonKisses · 10/12/2020 22:14

@Char899 yes, so nice to see the words!

@Bellaphant DD goes twice a week, I will maybe have to indulge in a lunchtime nap while working from home 😃

Bellaphant · 10/12/2020 22:23

@WatermelonKisses, I did that on Tuesday - I was really pukey and then I just slept for 40 mins, it was great. Last time I was on a project and basically set my own hours, which was fab further on in the pregnancy when I would wake up early, do a few hours work, go back to bed at 9am, do more work and finish at four for another nap!

We are hoping to move around April, closer to family, so fingers crossed for some more support.

WatermelonKisses · 11/12/2020 07:37

@Bellaphant sometimes it's gotta be done. I worked from home in my last pregnancy and used to start early morning and finish earlier as after about 3 I was good for nothing!

That's good you're moving closer to support. We moved during my first pregnancy, when I was about 5 months. It wasn't too bad, least you don't have to do any of the heavy lifting 😂

olderthanyouthink · 11/12/2020 08:13

@Char899 yes! Definitely cheated!
