@Onekidnoclue sorry to hear you're suffering so bad with piles. What a nightmare. Hope you can get sorted soon
I really struggled with my last baby going for a poo. I dreaded it every time and would take me ages as it felt like I had glass shards down there. Was horrific. And because I was scared and reluctant to go for a poo, I would be constipated for days on end which was no good. It got better after a couple of weeks. Hope you feel better soon.
Update on my crappy situation:
So today marks a week, yes ladies a week, of slow latent phase labour and tomorrow marks a week of going hospital to discover am only 2cm. Everyday I think is the day. Evening they ramp up more. Am absolutely fed up. Lots of lightening crotch pains and pressure down there, to the point sometimes I cannot walk. Top of my thighs ache and walking around the house and up and down the stairs has done zero.
Went to hospital yesterday as had lost my mucus plug earlier this week. And for past two days I had been having awful dark brown gloopy discharge. Was concerned and phoned labour ward, they said to come on in so they can check and make sure baby is ok. Baby was fine. Heartbeat good. The dark brown discharge was old blood following my mucus plug. I was concerned it could be meconium but all is well. Went home and from there on was having strong contractions and unbelievable pressure all evening and during the night. Contractions are still 7 to 8 and sometimes 10 to 20 mins apart. Fed up of it now.
Considering this is my 5th baby, you would have thought it would be all done with. I am utterly fed up of pain and sickness. Just been keeping up my faith and praying for God to make it easy for me.
Hoping also that because I have had a slow latent phase labour, that actual established labour will be faster
But hopefully not too fast. I have a very low pain threshold. I dont want to be in a state of agony and all that jazz in the car on the way there.
Also have my 40 weeks appointment today so going to see what the midwife suggests but she told me on the phone on tuesday they csnt give me a sweep until 41 weeks which I find rather odd.
Just got to get through this , knowing I will have my beautiful daughter at the end!.
We are going to call her Halima. Pronounced Ha lee ma. It's an Arabic name :)
Hows everyone else coming along ?
