@Boymama89 so sorry for you loss but congratulations on this pregnancy xx

Starfish762 · 09/11/2020 16:16

@Lollol86 have you found out the gender? That might help?

RainbowTime · 09/11/2020 16:53

Hi All - What a lovely support group!

I am totally desensitised to say that we are on our 3rd pregnancy of 2020. 5th pregnancy over all and still no babies!

Ectopic 5y ago, then MC at 6 weeks a year later, MC in April at 6 weeks, MMC in August at 14weeks. Currently 4 weeks pregnant... again. And feels like we’re on the same old trail every time. Don’t feel like we have much faith in the NHS miscarriage clinic either. I just don’t feel like I have faith in anything really, we’re not old, from the tests they’ve done they found that I have factor 5 Leiden thrombophillia and it doesn’t seem that they want to take a chance and treat this during pregnancy either so it feels like we’re on a merry go round of repeats.

Anyone got any advice re services please?

Threnody · 09/11/2020 17:29

Hi @RainbowTime, I'm sorry for your losses. Congratulations on your current pregnancy, wishing you lots of luck. I'm afraid I don't have any advice over services, perhaps someone else on the group can help.

Smilingdonkey · 09/11/2020 18:04

Welcome @RainbowTimes. Gosh I'm sorry to hear about your losses. I don't have any advice about your condition but all I can say is every pregnancy is different and unique in its own right and there is no reason that this one isn't going to work out so congratulations!

I think most of us on here have taken/are taking a while to accept our pregnancies as successful and at struggling with anxiety - so you are in the right place if you want support in that area! We understand the up and downs but are a very positive lot really 🥰 x

Smilingdonkey · 09/11/2020 18:08

I've been in hospital AGAIN with a suspected UTI today 😩 I had terrible period like pains and back ache and was really sick. It could be a UTI but could also be the start of the fibroid issues I had with my DD. 🤞 for the UTI please everyone (never thought I'd say that about a UTI!) I'm not sure I can't go through the fibroid red degeneration again - I swear it was worse than labour ...

Anyone have any experience with UTIs that recognised menstrual like cramps and back pain as symptoms? Xx

RainbowTime · 09/11/2020 18:44

@Smilingdonkey @Threnody thanks for your kind words! It’s so difficult to talk about stuff that for some reason we never talk about?! Looking at all your posts I see that were very much not alone though and it’s great this group is here to support each other.

@smilingdonkey abdo pain / flank pain textbook with UTI but nothing is ever textbook with a pregnancy too. Sending best wishes to you, rest up xxx

Starfish762 · 09/11/2020 19:35

@RainbowTime welcome! So sorry for your losses, what a rough journey ☹️ Praying this is the one that sticks for you. How far along are you?

@Smilingdonkey bless you that’s tough! FX for UTI 🤞🏼

Lollol86 · 09/11/2020 20:24

@Starfish762 no not yet, I have a private scan Saturday which is hoping to find out, really hoping once I know I can get that connection I really long for xx

ew1990 · 09/11/2020 20:40

@rainbowtime congratulations and welcome. I too don't have any knowledge of your condition but wishing you a healthy pregnancy.

@smilingdonkey praying for a uti. I had then with DD that caused back pain.

Sat down for ten minutes while waiting to finish work and whe I stood up night staff were like oooh your pregnant. Where's that come from. Definitely showing now and going to have to go in maternity uniform I couldn't breathe today.

Good luck for any scans this week if we have any. Its hard to keep up. Hope everyone enjoyed there weekend

Workingmama1 · 09/11/2020 20:51

It seems like a few of us aren't getting that connection or excitement just yet. While its nice to know I'm not alone, hopefully we will feel excited about these babies we are growing soon. We told our daughter last week as we did a little gender reveal so we all found out together, she thinks she is in my tummy (we've shown her pictures of me pregnant with her) and that my sticking out belly button is hilarious! But its quite cute as she kisses my tummy and told me today when the baby "pops out " she is going to "change baby's nappy" 🥰. Although I'm not convinced she fully understands at not yet 2 it's rather cute and helping me get a bit more excited.

@Starfish762 so glad everything was ok yesterday. How are you doing today?

@smilingdonkey hopefully its a UTI and some antibiotics will sort you out.

I think we have a flurry of scans in the next three weeks. 20 week ones this week and next, then three 12 week ones the week after, eeek how exciting!

I'm meeting my midwife for the first time tomorrow, debating on asking to hear the heartbeat, she said we could if I wanted but with no guarantees, I think if we tried and she couldn't find it it would just freak me out to might not be helpful!

RosieJess91 · 10/11/2020 10:37

Everyone is betting on it being a girl, apart from my OH dad, who thinks it's a boy. Hopefully find out in an hour!

Wish me luck!

ew1990 · 10/11/2020 10:53

@RosieJess ooh good luck! Xx

Starfish762 · 10/11/2020 11:15

@RosieJess91 oooh good luck! Let us know!

@Workingmama1 how sweet telling DD & her kissing your tummy ❤️ How far along are you again? We were going to tell DD after 12w scan coz the past few weeks she keeps asking for a brother or sister (SPOOKY) so she’s gonna be so excited, but the weekend scared us so much we’re wondering if we should hold off telling people more widely until at least 16w (if we get there 😩).

I’m doing fine now thank you for asking. Just on top of the world that everything’s okay, hoping this lasts & the anxiety doesn’t come back. Finally feeling really sick in the mornings too so that’s great 😂👍🏼

SkyBlue20 · 10/11/2020 12:10

Afternoon all!

Welcome, @Boymama89 - I'm so sorry for your loss and congratulations on your BFP. Hope you can get a scan and an idea of dates soon.

@Starfish762 Your scan is lovely, so clear!

@RosieJess91 Hope your jabs and scan went well, can't wait to find out the sex! I'm voting girl (for no real reason whatsoever 😂) 💕

@RainbowTime Welcome to the group, I am so sorry you've been through so much. I hope this is the little one that sticks 🤞🏼

@Smilingdonkey 🤞🏼 for the UTI (or even better, just one of those things and it was some one-off pain)

@ew1990 My bump has really grown this week, too - must be the week for it! Not much hiding it anymore...

@Workingmama1 Your daughter sounds so sweet! Must be lovely sharing it with her.

@DanceM1 Thinking of you, hope you're doing ok.

Exciting we have so many scans coming up again - can't wait to see all the pics 🥰

I was getting a bit worried about baby girl as hardly felt her yesterday but then an hour or so ago I think she got the hiccups and I had SO much movement, I loved it 🥰 DH could even feel her jerking about in there. I want her to have hiccups all of the time 😂

ew1990 · 10/11/2020 13:09

@workingmama how far along are you now? It's hard to keep up.

I heard the heartbeat with DD at 16 weeks and it was amazing. But that was before the experience of a miscarriage. I know the anxiety is awful. It's only in the last week I've been getting excited and thinking about having a baby

@skyblue20 so glad your getting lots of movement. This little one doesn't seem to stop now and I get worried when I haven't felt anything for a few hours but food normally sets her off.

RosieJess91 · 10/11/2020 13:17

It's a boy!! Another little boy for me! At least we already know the name! Little Harry 😁

RosieJess91 · 10/11/2020 13:22

I so however have to have another scan at 32 weeks because they think my placenta is covering my cervix 🤦🏼‍♀️

ew1990 · 10/11/2020 13:29

@rosiejess congratulations!! 💙💙

I love Harry. Its my favourite boys name but our surname starts with harr so to rhymy 😂😂

Hopefully your placenta has moved at the 32 week scan

Starfish762 · 10/11/2020 14:59

@RosieJess91 yey congratulations! 💙 Nothing better than a brotherly/sisterly bond, I’d be over the moon for DD if if’s another girl.

SkyBlue20 · 10/11/2020 15:54

Yay, congrats on your boy, @RosieJess91! Lovely little Harry 💕 Annoying about the placenta but hopefully it'll move - I believe that in the majority of cases it does ☺️

Threnody · 10/11/2020 16:00

@RosieJess91 aw, a little boy, how lovely. Harry is a great name. Fingers crossed your placenta moves up.

RosieJess91 · 10/11/2020 17:23

Weirdly, I think the low lying placenta thing might explain why DTD is so uncomfortable!
Thanks everyone! At least I don't have to argue over the name anymore, a boy was always going to be Harry, while we could never settle on a girls name! Phew!
Very clear boy as well, no mistaking that!!

bubblybon20 · 10/11/2020 17:43

Fab news @RosieJess91 💙💙

Starfish762 · 10/11/2020 18:51

@RosieJess91 must be lovely knowing the name too, a proper bond for you already 💙
