@bubblybon20 ohhh lovely, people said I'll pray you have a boy this time and although a boy would have been lovely, I honestly didn't have a preference. After all we've been through a healthy baby is all that matters xx

@JoJo58995 yay team pink, congratulations xx I've been suffering headaches for the last few weeks, horrible aren't they 😭 my midwife has said paracetamol is fine, I try to avoid them unless it's really bad, to be honest when it gets to the point I need to take them, paracetamol do nothing anyway.

@Pugprincess that tree decoration is just beautiful xx definitely get a new mattress.

Thanks for the tip @Workingmama1 I had no idea such a thing existed! Might try something like that as I do get a bit overheated cuddling up to the big pregnancy pillow!

Thank you for updating the list @Sakura54, I have my 20 week scan tomorrow 9am but won’t bother updating your list again as it’s nearly here! 😬 If all goes ok I will finally start sharing the news, it’s been a long wait!

@Sakura54 hi just wondering if you'd add me to the scan date list. My scan is the 2nd of December. It's to determine the due date as I never had a period after my MMC. Thanks so much

Oooo so by my count I think that’s 7 girls 5 boys and 2 surprises so far...

I'm reusing my son's Moses basket, just need a new mattress. The mattress that came with the cot I was given is a foam one and wasn't used very long, should I still get a new one? He won't be using it until 6 months, so I imagine it should be okay?
Because of my heart condition, my little boy will be tested for one of the main causes of SIDS the moment he's born, so I'd like to think I could potentially worry a little less...?!

Morning everyone. Hope you're all OK. Love all the talk of moses baskets etc..makes it feel more real 🥰 I'm about to order our pram which is very exciting. I think I told you we had a virtual appointment for pram shopping on Friday which was fun! I have a snuzpod as well from my sister. She ended up staying with my mum during the first lockdown so bought it for my nephew and is giving it to me practically brand new! Its been hardly used and only by my nephew so I probably won't buy a new mattress but I will double check!

We don't have much room to keep the pram so not sure if we will buy a moses basket for downstairs or use the pram?!

@RosieJess91 I would personally get a new mattress just to be on the safe side. Xx

@Lollol86 we are going for a Venicci Tinup. Its very light and user friendly!

Evening ladies! Hope everyone's had a good Monday! Had the longest day in work 😩 the top of my bump is so sore, feels like it's really bruised, anyone else had this?

Regarding working from 28 weeks. I've been told today I'll be moved to non clinical non ward work so should find out in a few week where I'll be going.

Thats good news @ew1990 I havent felt anything like that but like I said yesterday I keep getting a pinching feeling. I think all these aches and pains are normal 🤞

Manged to feel kicks from the outside fornthe first time today! And my husband felt it too 🥰

@dancem1 winstanleys are great, we got my daughter prams and her car seats from there (there is one 20 mins from us). I've found their customer service to be brilliant. I'm hoping once lockdown is over we can go back to try double prams.

@rosiejess91 I would get a new mattress if I was you, you can pick from up from amazon for less than £15 so for me that buys piece of mind.

@Workingmama1 I’ve just seen this on Bolton’s website - it’s all thanks to you! Almost made me tear up seeing it, I’m so glad people won’t have to go through EPU scans and treatment for loss alone anymore, we never should have had to. Thank you for fighting for it xxx

@Workingmama1 thats good to know. We have heard great things from a few people. We are going to get the whole travel bundle from them. Think it makes sense!

Lovely that you've been feeling movement from the outside. I love feeling this little baba wriggling about. Just can't wait to see the midwife on Thursday for my 25 week appointment and check everything is OK after this bloody awful virus!

@Starfish762 I’m glad you’re feeling so positive, such a lovely way to feel. Harness it, we all deserve to feel good after everything we’ve been through 🥰
I think my pregnancy pillow disturbed me at first, too - I had a few nights with and a few nights without then stuck without it for a while and slept much better. Am now back using it and it’s helping now.

@Workingmama1 Yay to feeling the kicks from outside 🥰 Really nice for the DHs to be able to feel a bit more involved that way, too.

With mattresses, I’m pretty sure I read that it could be something to do with germs etc, too, if other babies have vomited etc on it. Will read up.

Pram shopping is exciting! Can’t wait to receive ours but we asked for delivery in mid-Jan so a long time to go!

Baby girl has been so active this evening, I love it! 🥰

Gosh, so much to catch up on - had a quick skim through - congratulations to those in team pink!

Re mattresses - it's recommended to get a new mattress for each baby, but apparently there's no definite proof it increases the risks. Checkout www.lullabytrust.org.uk/safer-sleep-advice/mattresses-and-bedding/ for information.

I've got less than a week to wait until my scan now. Some days I feel quite positive, and others certain it will be bad news again. Had a nice distraction at the weekend with my daughter's 4th birthday, but now feeling like time is going very slowly again.

Aww @SkyBlue20 I'm so pleased it has officially changed! I saw the preview of your message and just that Bolton had changed something and was worried they were reducing partners but its the opposite! So pleased other women won't have to go through what we've all been through alone 😊

Just back from my 20 week scan, everything is looking good and definitely still a boy! 💙
I feel like now I can finally relax and make plans for his arrival!
