@Quiffy hahaha I know what you mean! I do like having a bump but I've reached that uncomfortable stage now, little feet constantly wedged under my ribs and lots of head butts to the fanny 😖 maybe he's trying to escape 😂😂

I decided on a cream/grey colour scheme and a safari animal theme. I've got the CUTEST hand made mobile being made 😍 cost a bloody fortune but it's adorable and I wanted it 😅 haha. Made a good start on baby clothes in the sales too and picked up a load of sexy disposable underwear and maternity pads from boots the other day 🥴 got DS1's stuff down from the loft and I just sat there crying and cradling it all 😂 I've officially lost it hahaha

Did your little mans reflux get better? I'm sure I remember you saying ages ago you were struggling a bit with it xx

That theme sounds gorgeous and I bet the mobile will be fabulous. Handmade just makes it so much more special. I know what you mean about the clothes though, I keep putting his old clothes I'm storage and end up sobbing as he'll never wear them again. It will be so nice for you to have that next little one to put some of the same outfits on ❤

His reflux comes and goes, he's teething atm and that seems to make it flare up more but gaviscon is really helping. It makes me so sad when it wakes him up and he just sobs, must be uncomfortable. Thankfully it's waking him less now xx

@Mumofboys17 how are you doing? not long at all for you now! Ahh I hope I'll get to the stage where I can feel those kicks and punches! I know, careful what you wish for lol x !
I'm 9 + 4 today and have another scan this weekend where I should be 10 weeks. I just need constant reassurance. Symptoms wise still have to remind myself I'm actually pregnant. I had couple of days of very mild nausea, some constipation which seems to have eased now. My boobs seem a bit bigger but they're not sore, just a bit tender on the sides - I do worry something has happened :( I try to keep myself calm and get into my head that I had no spotting or bleeding so all should be fine, but you never know. I think if everything is ok this weekend we might tell my parents, but I'm still very cautious to do so. I haven't gained any weight for now, I'm trying to stay active and to be fair I probably eat a bit less (but definitely healthier) because I get full so fast x I really wish there was a way for us to know everything is ok in there at any time!
I had my booking appointment last week and my 12 weeks scan is booked for when I'm 12+3 which is in about 20 days time!
At what point did your symptoms ease off? How do you stay sane?! I can't stop thinking that I may get bad news again!

@katie1109 stats say that if you have seen the fetal heartbeat the risk of miscarriage drops to just 4 percent. You've got this, i can't imagine how scared you must be but you've for this it's your time to shine! Please send a pic of the 10 week scan 🥰 I'm having my 20 week scan on the 9th. I've already bought the travel system and Cot 🤣🤣 I couldn't help myself plus they were on offer!

@Mumofboys17 the kicks 🤣 oh god I am slightly dreading getting more uncomfortable like I think I'm uncomfortable now but I know it hasn't even started yet! I just want to kick my OH out of the bed! We are getting a kingsize bed this Friday brand new cannot WAIT wish I could have gotten a super king but my room is too small 😒. My little ones kciks are getting stronger by the day it's so lovely isn't it 🥰❤️ your colour scheme sounds looooovely do send a pic when it's done!! :) xx

@Missgoldilocks haha it should be known as 'different stages of uncomfortable' rather than trimesters 😂😂 god almost 20 weeks already.. is it just me or is there a serious fast forward button on all of our pregnancies?! 🙈 this boy is seriously active though I must be black and blue on the inside!
Ahh I deffo will! We've got lots to do in the nursery yet feel like it may be a last minute job to all be finished in time haha but I'm excited to get it all done 🥰 xx

@Katie1109 bless you that's good you're having another scan done, I don't think there's anything wrong with that at all x my MIL offered to book us a private one after the weird moments I've had lately and NHS one got cancelled, DH is a boring old fart though and said we didn't 'need' it 🙄 I was like ffs ruin it all for me 😒😂
I honestly don't think there's a right or wrong way to feel symptoms lovely, try not to read too much into it. At your stage I think I had good and bad days, but we're all very different! Plus every pregnancy is different too! DS1 had me craving salt and cheese, this one has me needing cake and chocolate 😂 just take it one step at a time xx

@Missgoldilocks I know the stats very well but I’m a pessimist by nature so 4% miscarriage rate seems still high to me 😭 I’m not sure when I’m going to stop worrying, probably never!
@Mumofboys17 I think if I was you I would still go ahead and book the private one lol 🤣 trust me, nobody will be stopping me from booking scans every bloody week if I want to! With regards to symptoms honestly if all goes well and nothing changes I think I will have to count myself as one of the lucky ones x but me and luck don’t usually go hand in hand! x

@Mumofboys17 thank you x I don’t feel pregnant at all x no symptoms, boobs sore only when I press on the sides, other than that I just feel normal x no weight gain at all either x

@Katie1109 it's still super early days yet lovely, honestly just don't worry about the symptoms! They'll get you at some point!! 😉😂 my boobs were hardly sore at all this time around, just given them a poke now as I'm thinking about it 😂 they've gotten massive though lol I only have tiny boobs normally but need to lift them after having a shower to dry underneath now 🙈 xx

I'm doing ok thanks ☺️ spent the night on labour ward AGAIN on Wednesday. Had some really deep cramping abdo pain on one side and in my back, I've also lost little bits of my mucous plug the last couple of weeks. Had a CTG and some swabs taken, showed that there was some tightenings but definitely not contractions (thank god!!) So put it down to awkward muscle pain/braxton hicks again. DS1's pregnancy was nothing like this!! Hopefully next time I go to the hospital it'll actually be the main event! Xx

@Katie1109 apparently so! Definitely didn't have them at all with DS1 though 😂 so weird. My pelvis is at a slight angle so they reckon it's something to do with that, who knows! Hard work this growing humans malarkey 😩😅

@Quiffy I’ve got a chunky one too 😂 he was in 3-6 months at 2 months old and we’ve just moved him into size 4 nappies! His sister is nearly 2 years older and only in size 5s 😱 so weird going from worrying about how small she was to how big he is.

@Fredthespider Christ don't tell me that we're sooo not ready 😅😂 I haven't even packed my hospital bag yet!! We've painted the nursery now but still need carpet doing (has been arranged just waiting for fitting date) before we can put the furniture in. I did get the car seat and travel system cleaned at the weekend though, so worst case he's got a clean car seat to come home in!! 🙈
DS1 came bang on his due date so I'm quietly hoping for the same again this time haha x

Hey girls how are we all?
Had my 20 week scan yesterday baby is good, definitely a boy lol and moving around so much the sonographer couldn't see his heart properly we was in there for an hour! So have to go back in a week (I'm not complaining!) here's a pic of his face, his little nose and lips lol xx

@Fredthespider I'm glad I'm not the only chonky boy (or as the docs say clearly thriving hehe). Size 4 nappies here too, although I'm getting a size 5 pack in too as they can be a bit tight after meals 🤣🤣 that's such a difference with your girl, it's amazing how different they can be.

I'm trying to get my boy into his big crib atm as I can't justify squashing him into his Snuz anymore. They grow up so quickly 😩😭

I really hope all will be well on my 12 week scan which is in just 2 weeks x I barely had any symptoms and that's still the case now, so obviously a bit worrying, but trying to stay positive. Ohhh you used Snuz? How did you find it? Is it possible for Snuz to rock? I love the idea of the Snuzpod for bedside sleeping and love the Snuz nursery furniture! I know, I know a bit early to think about this stuff, I do need to reel myself in at times!

@Fredthespider @Quiffy my boy was the same he was born 9 pound 4 ounces and basically in 3-6months rather quickly lol. My partner now is a big guy too so I'm guessing this one will be big if not bigger (hold fire natural birth 🤣).
We have been thinking names we like Isaiah, Elijah and I love Santino but my partner has too many South American friends and hates it shortened to Santi 😩😅 I think we are leaning more on Isaiah but we will wait till we see him in the flesh for what suits him. What's your sons names? Xx

@Quiffy I’m feeling alright in myself, just so tired and very uncomfortable most of the time now 😣 I finally ordered a hospital bag from Amazon last night as I really do need to pull my finger out and get my bum in gear 😅 got almost everything now just need to get a nice big towel (still hoping for a water birth!) and some little nappies 🥰 the excitement definitely outweighs the negatives the most part right now haha x
I also feel your pain about the crib, DS1 was in his next2me until about 8 months I think and it killed me to put him in his own room!! 😭 it really flies by doesn’t it! X

@Missgoldilocks ahh those are some lovely names!! We’re still struggling to decide but have whittled it down to a few. I quite like Isaac, Theo or Leon at the moment ☺️ I find it so hard choosing names!! X

@Katie1109 absolutely not too early to start thinking about stuff like that! Totally understand why you feel you should hold back of course, but definitely no harm in doing some research now too ☺️ X

I had my midwife app today, no diabetes which is great they will check me. Again at 28 weeks. She also said my iron count is bloody amazing and how healthy I must eat 😁 I'm not gonna lie that made me so happy because I'd been feeling down about my weight! I had protein in my urine but blood pressure was fine so all good news over here xxx
