@Missgoldilocks omg a Xmas eve reveal that sounds so amazing 🥰 glad to hear you're doing ok lovely! I found the first trimester sooo much harder 2nd time around, I had a very mild cold at about 9 weeks and it floored me 😫 good for you still going to the gym! Weird question, did you go off tea and coffee this time yet? With DS1 I couldn't bare it from about 10 weeks in but this time I can't get enough! 😂 maybe I just desperately need the caffeine hahaha
I really don't know about a baby shower. My bestie and sister want to do one for me around Feb time, but with all the restrictions in place lord knows if I'll be able to have one. I'll just play it by ear and have to see ☺️ xxx

@Missgoldilocks Christmas Eve reveal will be amazing! That is so very exciting. I think I lived on turkey dinosaurs and potato waffles for the first 3 months as they were nice and bland. Flat coke/irn bru helped a bit too.

@Fredthespider glad the tongue tie has been shipped. Bet that was traumatic foe you though 😅😩 we had to give up and use the sleepyhead in his Snuz for awhile as he wanted to be cushioned in but not swaddled. I know we’re not supposed to but sleep was needed! It can be a real battle when theta just want to snuggle into boobs 😹

@Mumofboys17 definitely the nhs is magical but sometimes you’ve just got to push more. At least the gaviscon is helping a bit. He didn’t sleep until 5am in his crib on Friday but that was because the little monster was full of nonsense 😹 has to drive him around in the car for two hours so he’d get a nap and not be overtired. He then slept all day and missed the tree going up 😹

If we have a second I don’t even know what I’d prefer, ttc was so emotional last time I’d just be happy with a double line. I’d just hope they liked each other and played together for some peace 😹

@Quiffy yes - exactly! It took SO long to conceive both times I'm just grateful I've (almost) got 2 children at all. Those of us who have really been there and back with TTC get it 😉
Bless you. I couldn't tell you the amount of times I sat on the driveway in my car to let DS sleep just that little bit longer 😫😂 he's 3 now and still falls asleep in the car! We now pack PJ's and bath stuff whenever we go to our parents now, so when we get home we just transfer him to bed and leave him there 😂 very different to a newborn though of course! Sleep deprivation can be torture. When we have a bad night with DS now DH and I will look at each other like 'wtf have we done' 😂😂 it's all temporary, and worth it in the end! (that's what I keep telling myself anyway 🙃) xx

@Mumofboys17 I'm drinking more tea than I ever have done and for me that means even one every couple of days haha I was a coffee girl before but since I've found out I've had 2 coffees only because I'm too scared lol I haven't craved the coffee though luckily! Yeah the sickness seems to be getting worse, tomorrow I'm 7bweeks and this morning and all night I felt like I was going to vomit! But its all good signs hahaha

@Quiffy yes definitely dry food for me, toast, ginger ale is a life saver and I keep just wanting chips!!

Hey girls, we had an early scan yesterday my dates are correct I was 8w1d yesterday :) little bean has a strong heartbeat! 🥰🥰 The head is facing downwards and the black spot in the middle is the brain! Xx

@Mumofboys17 Aww I can't wait to have my baby bump!! ❤️ I'm still pretty sick, I had to start omeprazole because my heartburn and indegistion was just so bad! By 1pm I feel so bad like I'm on a boat for like 4 hours I can't really do anything and I'm constantly starving. I've put on 4kg already 😬 I know the midwives are gonna talk so much crap to me lol but right now I can't help it going to the gym makes me so sick so it's bound to happen. How far are you now? Xx

DS ended up in hospital with us for a few days earlier in the month as he needed iv antibiotics for a cyst. Was the worst time ever esp as only one of us was allowed in. Luckily it burst without the need for lancing. So glad to have got him home and he’s sleeping much better now. He also got spoiled by Santa and the family, no idea where anything is going to go 😂

@Quiffy oh my god how frightening for you all!! DS1 was in hospital for a week before last Xmas, obviously pre covid but DH had to go away for work whilst we were there and it's the scariest most isolating feeling. Thank goodness your little one is ok, and even better about the improved sleep - yay!!

Our Christmas was good! Difficult as couldn't see as much family as we'd have liked 🙁 but all things considered we've had a lovely couple of days. Looking forward to a very lazy day tomorrow though 😏😴 hope everyone else had a lovely Christmas? Xxx

Urgh lockdown.. it’s been ok but I’m really missing family. I have to say it almost couldn’t have come at a worse time for me as my nesting instinct has kicked in so bad 😂 I’m still working but on my days off I literally just clean haha! I’m 26 weeks today, work have said it’s highly likely I’ll have to work from home until mat leave once I reach 28 weeks.. it’s a good thing I spose but I miss the social interaction of the office when I’m not there 🙁 I’m also trying not to worry about being able to see people when baby actually arrives, there’s still time and things could ease a bit by then 🤞🏻
This pregnancy has literally flown by for me.. and this baby is SO active! Much more than DS1, he’s on the move all day and night! 😵 xx

@Mumofboys17 tbh I've still been quite sick, the other day I had to force myself to be sick because I felt so bad but I strained so hard that I have blood shots in my eyes 😩 it'll go away but it was scary lol. Some days I mostly feel fine but others I'm literally floored and can't get off the sofa. Nearing the end of the first trimester though so hoping it evens out on the next week.

Oh I know, it's hard not seeing family :( it's really depressing tbh, no where to go and now we have crap weather, it's not like summer when you could have a nice walk around in the sun at least to lift your spirits it's just a joke.

Aww that's cute that baby is so active!! I cannot wait till I feel this little bubba move and I'm so excited to see bean again in a few weeks on the scan 😍😍 xx

@Missgoldilocks oh god you poor thing!! I've never had bad sickness in pregnancy it must be awful mixed in with the exhaustion and hormones 🙁 hopefully once that second trimester kicks in you'll start to feel a bit better 🤞🏻 I'd say from around the 14 week mark I felt more like myself, but then my pelvic and back pain kicked in and that's been AWFUL lately, some days I can't even move 😭 other days I'm ok, it's something to do with the position of my pelvis but apparently can get worse with each pregnancy, it was bad with DS1 but definitely not this bad. Scared it could also mean I'm having a bigger baby this time 😬😂
The things we have to go through, hey!! Although - DEFINITELY still not moaning!! 😅😂 Wonder if you'll have another boy too or be the first one for team pink from the OG crazy gang 🤩 so exciting! Xx

@Mumofboys17 I was sure I’d replied before boo, I must not have pressed post. I remember you saying last (last) Christmas about dh but didn’t fully appreciate how awful it is. Thankfully only a couple of days. He was so happy to get home to his gym and all his things. Not that he’s spoiled... 😹😹

Home from 28 weeks sounds sensible if sad to be alone. Hopefully vaccines don’t take too long, I feel so bad for the women in my group who are nearly going back to work but not had a chance to properly interact. I thought I’d be able to make a few local friends myself. Fingers crossed classes etc are back for you and @Missgoldilocks come the time.

@missgolfilocks fingers crossed the sickness and tiredness eases soon. It’s so exciting to feel them. Are you planning on finding out the sex later on?

We’re doing really good. Lockdown sucks and we’re not seeing anyone but at least dh is at home. Ds is sleeping through nights which is AMAZING. We played with a foil blanket for the first time today, he was thrashing around and giggling like a crazy baby then he conked out 😹😹

My boss called me today and said they've decided to keep me out the office now so I'll be working from home til mat leave. I'm 26 weeks so not far off the 28 anyway, a bit sad though would have liked a 'last day' at work! Especially as I can't have a shower or party etc, bigger picture though it's definitely the safer option at the moment. And at least I can sit at home in my comfies without having to wear a bra or do my make up every day 😅

It's such a shame that new babies are missing out on groups and classes at the moment 🙁 I only took DS1 to a small baby massage group in his earlier weeks routinely, but we both loved it, and it's so nice to have somewhere to be and just to see other mums and babies sometimes. Hopefully once this vaccine starts taking effect things will slowly start getting back to normal - not that I can have it right now anyway haha! X

Hey girls 😊 I hope you're all well!! Had my 12 week scan today and measuring at 13 weeks 4 days 😁❤️ the scanner was almost certainly sure it's a boy!! He showed me a picture of the genitals and I was like WOW that's definitely a willy 😂 😂 gets it from his father!! Hahaha ah (not in this pic I mean it's pretty clear that's a leg but my mum asked if that's his willy wtf) haha

Bless your mum thinking his leg was his willy 😂😂 both my boys were very proud little exhibitionists too and laying with legs wide open when we were shown the gender too 😂😂 so pleased everything is going well, how's your sickness now? All good here, plodding along (literally! 😅) I'm 28 weeks officially tomorrow, had midwife appt yesterday and she said I'm actually measuring a week small 😮 I was like are you joking?! I'm a walking talking weebl!

@Missgoldilocks oh gosh have you really?! Bless you - don't stress too much about it now though just enjoy it 😉 diets and exercise will always be around you'll only be pregnant with this baby for 9 months! You've waited long enough!!!
We're really struggling with names this time. I had a girls name for sure but that's obviously irrelevant now 🤦🏼‍♀️😂😂 3 year old DS1 calls him 'mr baby' and right now that's all we've got!! 😂😂😂 xx

OMG I cannot believe I have found a pregnancy crazy gang! How are you all? @Missgoldilocks the scan photos are amaaaaazing!!! How are you all? Where are you all with your pregnancies??
I am quietly lurking around pregnancy threads because I had a faint line on cheapie yesterday at 9DPO, but what makes me think I'm pregnant is that my boobs are hurting for the first time since that awful miscarriage last year so fingers crossed. We dtd quite a lot this month, so hopefully we can start 2021 with some happy news! I don't think I'll be testing till Sunday at least, af due Fri/Sat. I posted my cheapie test photos on the thread in conception and couple of girls there say they can see it.

@Katie1109 hello stranger!! ❤️ I've just had a look see on the conception thread as I was curious, I'm sure I can deffo see something there too 🙊 if it helps, my tests have almost always been faint in those first few weeks. I've attached a pic of my FRER's from approx 10-13dpo (not with first wee of the day) and at that point I'd have thought they'd have been darker! So just goes to show you can never tell. I did a CB digital at the same time which was negative too! 🙄

I'm 28 weeks as of tomorrow, can't believe it and it's gone SO fast! Struggling with WFH my full hours and general lockdown times, really missing family and general normality 🙁 just hope by the time baby boy arrives he can actually meet his family (and virtual aunties of course 😉) x

I’m really not trying to get my hopes up, it is really that boobs pain because I haven’t had it for 6 months at all. And today I’ve got huge amount of CM where normally I’m dry by now 🧐 we’ll se by the end of the weekend I should have a definitive answer 🤞 I really hope if it’s good news this one will stick, I can’t go through another MC 😢 xx

@Katie1109 no worries! I do have a nose on there from time to time, hoping to see everyone finally get their BFP's x it took us around 18 months to conceive DS1, it's so so hard, but please don't ever lose hope ❤️
Haha yes, another baby boy indeed! 🥰 He's deffo going to be my last one, I think DH may prod me (ha!) for another in a few years but I'm just feeling very done right now, still with 12 weeks to go 😂
All the symptoms sound really positive, hoping beyond hope it's good news for you xxx

I’m still not convinced because I had lines on cheapies before, but here’s this mornings cheapie. I won’t be doing a proper test till Sunday, but fingers crossed it’s real and it will stick 🥰x af due tomorrow and so far no period cramps 🤞
