@Katie1109 bless you it's so hard to wait it out isn't it, that's definitely darker than yesterday's!! 🙊 I have everything crossed for you lovely ❤️ xx

Missgoldilocks · 21/01/2021 09:13

@katie1109 I definitely see a line!! ❤️ ❤️ 💕 oh Katie I really hope this is it for you!! Fingers and toes crossed for a sticky bean 😍😍🤞 xxx

Katie1109 · 21/01/2021 09:18

@Missgoldilocks thanks hun! How are you? Love the scan photos 🥰 how are you getting on? x I’m so so glad I found you girls x

Missgoldilocks · 21/01/2021 09:50

@katie1109 thank you 😁 I'm well, really excited after the scan and seeing an actual baby lol ❤️❤️ lockdown is awful though isn't it 🙁 can't wait for it to be over. How are you chick xx

Katie1109 · 21/01/2021 10:01

@Missgoldilocks I’m ok thank you x keep looking at my test and having a mixed bag of emotions at the moment. Still not 100% sure it’s real, and then very apprehensive to feel happy about it because I have been there before so don’t really want to allow myself to be happy yet x I’m actually scared I am not going to enjoy this pregnancy if it sticks because of MC’s and I will constantly look for issues 😢

Missgoldilocks · 21/01/2021 10:10

@katie1109 could you not ask your doctor whether aspirin on a low dose would be good, considering your history of miscarriages? Another girl I know is being out on aspirin low dose because it stops miscarriages if you have a history of them. You have to take it once you're pregnant xx

Katie1109 · 21/01/2021 10:12

@Missgoldilocks thank you 🙏 I will give doctors a ring after the weekend and ask x

Katie1109 · 25/01/2021 14:52

Good afternoon ladies x well seems like I am actually pregnant x positive digi this morning so I am about 4 + 3 🥰 difficult to get excited considering 2 previous MC’s, but I’m hoping it’s going to be ok this time 🤞

Mumofboys17 · 25/01/2021 15:24

@Katie1109 YAAAYY!! I was thinking about you all weekend, so chuffed it's good news! Because of your history deffo give the GP a call, I know it's a bit early for the official booking appt but like others suggested might be worth starting you on aspirin or something if that can help x
So, so happy for you lovely! ❤️❤️

Missgoldilocks · 25/01/2021 15:41

@katie1109 yaaaaay!!! Congratulations chick that's amazing news! Definitely contact gp and see if they can give something xx

Katie1109 · 26/01/2021 07:26

Thanks ladies x I am struggling to even get little bit excited, just feel like I can’t allow myself to do so. Don’t you think this test is not dark enough for 16 DPO? My digi said pregnant yesterday, but I have now convinced myself this one is too light 😩

Mumofboys17 · 26/01/2021 07:52

@Katie1109 remember my earlier tests I showed you and how light they were? A positive is a positive ❤️
Please try not to worry, I know it must feel impossible but the best thing you can do right now is put down the pee sticks!! Xx
Take your vitamins, get plenty of rest when you can and when you feel ready to give the GP a call just to get ahead of the game. You don't have to feel excited yet, don't put too much pressure on yourself xx

Katie1109 · 26/01/2021 09:01

@Mumofboys17 thanks hun I do remember x it’s just so difficult to not be negative about it all after 2 miscarriages 😩 I will do my best to relax, but for now I just feel stressed and worried 😟

Mumofboys17 · 26/01/2021 15:40

@Katie1109 I can only imagine how you must be feeling, bless you. You can't do anything else now but take it easy, we're all here for you for moral support whenever you need to rant! ❤️ xx

Katie1109 · 27/01/2021 07:05

@Mumofboys17 thank you for the support x I don’t think this one will stay with us either. I have period like pressure and slight cramps, feels like af is going to arrive any minute now 😩

Missgoldilocks · 27/01/2021 09:28

@katie1109 have you done another test a first response? Early on in pregnancy I had period cramps and lots of pressure it doesn't always mean something bad. Katie, I'm being serious you really need to contact your doctor and tell them about your recurrent miscarriages so that they can give you the aspirin. Also they may be able to find out why it keeps happenin. I'm sorry you think you're going through this again 😔❤️❤️❤️ but please please please speak to your doctor x

Katie1109 · 27/01/2021 09:47

@Missgoldilocks I haven’t done another test x I might do tomorrow morning x I have phoned my GP yesterday and I’ll have a phone consultation with midwife tomorrow so hopefully she’ll get me some help - if it’s not too late x fingers crossed my cramps are just like yours and it’s not a sign of anything bad x

Mumofboys17 · 27/01/2021 16:28

@Katie1109 yep, likewise - I also had period-like cramps, around the same time my 'pregnancy' symptoms disappeared. Bodies do some seriously weird shit in pregnancy full stop, let alone if it could be something more sinister!
Really hope you're feeling OK. Just keep talking and go with your gut, if you're worried it's ALWAYS best to get advice, even if it is nothing. Can you self refer to your local EPAU maybe? Xxx

Mumofboys17 · 27/01/2021 16:29

@Katie1109 sorry lovely just seen your message from this morning. That's fab you're speaking to an actual midwife tomorrow, keep us updated when and if you can. Thinking of you and sending lots of positive virtual hugs ❤️❤️

Katie1109 · 27/01/2021 19:08

@Mumofboys17 thank you so much hun x I really appreciate the support x that dull crampy feeling has gone away in the last couple of hours x I had no spotting or any bleeding so far so hopefully it’s a good sign x I think I felt a bit nauseous earlier on, but I’m not sure myself what I was feeling, it might have been just the stress of it all! x I’ll keep you posted x 🤞😘

Katie1109 · 28/01/2021 17:38

Hi ladies x
Just wanted to say all still ok here x no spotting etc x boobs are sore although not as sore as I remember them last time - but that was a twin pregnancy. I feel a bit bloated but that’s about all. I had a call with midwife and she said no to aspirin and told me basically to relax and wait till I can get early scan privately. Any of you had a scan at 7 weeks and actually seen anything? x

Mumofboys17 · 28/01/2021 17:54

@Katie1109 thanks for the update lovely that's really good news xx shame the NHS couldn't refer you for an early scan given your history, but at least you're ok, that's the important thing x
The earliest I've ever had a scan was 11 weeks and 6 days and that was this time 😂 I'm sure @Missgoldilocks had a scan at 8 weeks? Those I know who have had really early 6-7 week scans you don't see much at all but if it gives you reassurance then definitely worth it x

Missgoldilocks · 28/01/2021 18:16

@katie1109 yeah I had one at 8 weeks, wasn't moving or anything but you could see the heartbeat, once you see the heartbeat normally the risk of miscarriage drastically decreases. Can't believe they've said no to aspirin given your history smh xx

Katie1109 · 29/01/2021 07:47

@Missgoldilocks thanks hun x I think we’ll book one for about 8 weeks. I’m 5 weeks today, boobs are more painful now, but no other symptoms really x

Missgoldilocks · 29/01/2021 11:17

@katie1109 I never had sore boobs 😂 I was shocked. Actually I didn't really have any symptoms till after I found out and I started to feel sick and got really bad acid reflux 🥺😅 it was so bad I got prescribed omeprazole. I had such bad cramps around the time of my period I had a Pad on for two days waiting for it lol xx
