4 weeks pregnant - 1st pregnancy

Hello!
Anyone else just found out that they are pregnant and are around 4 weeks?
This is my 1st pregnancy and as excited as I am o feel SO overwhelmed! I’ve no idea what to do next.

@Flowerbudd I’m 5 weeks and in the last week my symptoms have been so minimal. Cramping stopped. Just the odd mild stabbing pain down there! And sore boobs, but only when I check them. I think nausea will kick in in a few weeks and we will be glad to feel it.

@Iloveoreos I’ve been doing home workouts and pregnancy yoga off YouTube. Ohh and I’ve bought a Pilates ball to sit on, at my desk, instead of a chair. Supposed to help the pelvic floor!

I’m soooooooo gassy!!! Have been burping non stop for about 7-10 days. It sounds funny but is actually really uncomfortable

Ladies when does implantation bleeding occur? Around 4 weeks??

I think mine was 2 days after my embryo transfer, 7 days after fertilisation. I got my first hint of a BFP 5 days after that. Possibly a bit different with ivf though?

@Iloveoreos I’m pretty sure implantation occurred for me at 7dpo. From what I’ve read It can range between 6-12dpo and apparently the most common day is 9dpo. So that’s circa 3.5 weeks after your last period (assuming you have a 28 day cycle)

If you’ve had a positive pregnancy test, implantation has already occurred as that’s when the body starts to build hcg.

Morning all. I am 4+3 and my only symptoms so far are that I am hungry all the time, and sooo tired. I tried to go for my usual daily 5k yesterday and had to give up after a mile! Leaden legs.

To those talking about the clear blue test, I took one on Saturday and it said 2-3 week pregnant. I was using ovusense, so I know exactly what day I ovulated, plus have calculated from my last period, so defo over 4. They really aren’t accurate!

@Rachetine Im 4+4 and Im hungry all the time and due to the metallic taste in my mouth all i want is cold drinks like milkshakes or fruit juices 🙈 tiredness hasn't kicked in i don't think - saying that Im usually pretty tired lol

Well done on trying the run, i haven't managed a run yet, i ran a few days before my BFP and i struggled a lot which then made sense so i think Im going to wait a little bit until i try again.

Yeah I've heard mixed reviews about those tests, i think 3+ weeks shows when you're around 5 weeks pregnant as then its 3+ weeks since conception? Very confusing, I wouldn't worry to much about them at all :)

I’ve just spoken to my clinic and they’re doing me a scan on 18 Nov. Which will be 7+6. Fingers crossed for a heartbeat! I’m guessing all the rest of my scans etc will be via my normal med centre channels.

@Sunbird24 we are same dates and ivf here too. My scan is 17th nov. Seems so long to wait doesn’t it! I’m booked in to the miscarriage clinic for early scans though which I’m thankful for x

@Mctm123 it is! I was going to wait til after that to tell my parents but I don’t think I can if it’s that far away 🤦‍♀️

@Sunbird24 mine know to be honest. It’s difficult with Ivf cos they knew I was doing it again so even though I said I don’t really want to talk about it, they asked me how I was and for updates to show they care I suppose which is understandable of course so they know, but we haven’t spoke much about it (I’ve had 3 miscarriages and I can’t let myself get excited sadly) x

I saw a brown spot last evening and just now went to pee and got pink cm on tissue !!! I tested positve 5 days ago and yesterfay aswell. Is this common or not or something bad happening???

@Iloveoreos it’s one if thise really annoying things where spotting in pregnancy can be harmless or it can be a cause for concern. Often Dr’s and epu’s say to wait until it either becomes red bleeding or it accompanied by cramping - although I’m the type of person that would call up anyway! As you never know, you can get people who are more helpful than the noem that will get you in for a scan/bloods. How many weeks are you?

Afternoon everyone.
I am 4+6 today, going to wait until I get to 6 weeks and then book an early private scan, then we will tell parents ☺️
Symptoms wise I am quite tired, still very thirsty all the time, and sometimes I get a light crampy feeling. I'm not feeling sick after I eat anymore though which is nice!

They have said to do blood test over 2 days to see if its viable or not however its now turned to proper bleeding unfortunately so im out of the game now-. I guess ill rejoin when i have good news again..soon i hope.
