has anyone else felt kinda sick/nauseous in the last few weeks? I haven't had morning sickness at all throughout the pregnancy, but now at around 38 weeks have been feeling intermittently sick (although not being sick). The only suggestions I've found are that it could just be because all my organs are all squished up. Just wondered if anyone else had experienced the same, or if it could indicate anything else?

peachypetite · 04/11/2020 12:38

At this stage I’m eating little and often rather than proper meals.

Kj1010 · 04/11/2020 14:32

Wow just watched a video on having a evc and the women looked very very uncomfortable and looks very tough pressure etc I'm really not sure I'd go through with a evc

Pinktruffle · 04/11/2020 14:36

@Jojanna I've had a bit of nausea, I've not been sick but have had days where over felt quite sick over the last 2/3 weeks.

This is defo a TMI post so please avoid if you are eating lunch! I'm sorry! Is anyone else finding they need the toilet a lot? And I dont mean for a wee. I dont know if maybe the baby is pressing on my bowel but for the last week, I've been going 4 times a day, whenever I eat, within about an hour, I need to go the bathroom and my stomach gets really painful if I dont go. It must be limited room for the baby right?

peachypetite · 04/11/2020 16:23

@Kj1010 from what I know about ECV it’s not comfortable and doesn’t have a very high success rate. There’s also no guarantee baby won’t turn back! @Pinktruffle I think increased bowel movements are usually a sign labour is near!

Kj1010 · 04/11/2020 16:28

@peachypetite yep that's what I'm reading I have appointment on 17th November and was told they do a scan to see if he has moved if he hasn't then offer me the evc as will have to sign forms etc but I think I will say no and then I have a scan booked 1st december so will see if he has moved then if not probably go for the csection as reading on birth for breech Carrie's more risks than csection etc just really didn't wanna have one

Babyhope98 · 04/11/2020 16:40

I just live with my partner he’s at work Monday until Saturday and my family live far away and with lockdown I can’t see them anyway. I am going out of my mind now I’m not working, these last few weeks are dragging, the house is clean there’s nothing for me to do helppp. Any good series recommendations that will last for ages and see me through these last few weeks please 😅

Pinktruffle · 04/11/2020 17:30

@peachypetite oh interesting. I thought that was only the case if the movements were of a erm.... loose consistency. I'm not having any other signs but will keep a close eye out!

peachypetite · 04/11/2020 17:37

Has anyone else developed an urge to tidy and declutter and organise?

Jellycat2020 · 04/11/2020 17:58

@Babyhope98 do you have Netflix or Amazon Prime? I've had to be off work since March so have binged a few! 😂 Currently on Australian Masterchef, Grey's Anatomy and Haunting of Bly Manor.

@peachypetite oh absolutely, have been doing just that for the past few weeks! I can't stand any amount of mess or dust at the moment when normally I'm quite laid back about it! But my energy levels are curtailing my last ditch efforts 😴

NatalieH2220 · 04/11/2020 18:06

@jojanna Yeah I've found the nausea came back over the last couple of weeks. Not everyday but one evening I was up actually trying to be sick as the feeling was so strong. Almost felt like the early days. I think in my case I'm eating normal portions still which is probably too much with the amount of space in there now so trying to eat little and often now instead to see if that helps. Hope it passes soon!

Kj1010 · 04/11/2020 18:31

Yes yes yes at the decluttering cleaning g as we speak my oh is refreshing our hallway and tomoz and friday he doing my kitchen and deep cleaning it with me I defo wanna have all this done asap now knowing there is a chance I may be having csection I no it's still 5 weeks away my due date but consultant has told me b4 if I need one they do a week b4 due date so that's like 4 weeks away and I have loads to do plus I make my own wax meltz so wanna get them.made and baby stuff washed bag packed etc so I can relax

MsBee13 · 04/11/2020 18:35

@peachypetite

Has anyone else developed an urge to tidy and declutter and organise?
Yes 🤣 I was running around like a headless chicken today doing so many things even my back hurt and could barely walk I still was doing it. I really have to relax more as this baby will come sooner than we want 😆
Babyhope98 · 04/11/2020 18:45

@Jellycat2020 I have both, I just can never seem to find anything to watch!

Anyone getting rib pain it’s not very painful just a little uncomfortable and not particularly on one side either.. think it’s the baby pushing up maybe ?

peachypetite · 04/11/2020 18:50

Honestly I’ve been like a woman possessed today! It’s a mix of tidying (chucking loads of old crap out, I’ve been ruthless) and I’ve started batch cooking for the freezer. My back is killing me now too. I’ve only just sat down. Think I’ll be having a hot bath before bed or I’ll be in agony.

peachypetite · 04/11/2020 18:51

@Babyhope98 I’ve started mistresses - proper trash tele

peachypetite · 04/11/2020 18:51

On Amazon prime sorry

danielasummer · 04/11/2020 19:25

@Pinktruffle yes, me! Not loose at all but I'm definitely going multiple times a day, 4 or 5 at least. Maybe we're running out of room to store anything excess (Sorry that is gross but the only explanation I can come up with!)

Same me today 🤣 How funny.. the hormones! X
jalu47 · 04/11/2020 20:04

@Babyhope98 we've been binging Schitts Creek on Netflix, very easy watching and nice short episodes too!

Sheera1 · 04/11/2020 21:50

Schitts Creek is so good.

@jellycat2020 Australia Masterchef is my total fav! Love that show. On series 12 just now. So good.

Although tonight I have been glued to sky news with the US election!!

I went through a really grating nesting stage a few weeks ago. Cleaned out my sideboards. So big now not much I can do. Was bothered by general clutter nothing where th me baby will be but the relief I felt with it done was phenomenal. Such a strange thing. Didn't get it with DS.

Lots of close family asked what baby things we wanted but I am have had such anxiety over everything being ready I have bought it all myself as couldn't stand not knowing if they would get the right thing or on time 🙈

Pinktruffle · 04/11/2020 22:27

@danielasummer Haha yes, that's exactly what I've been assuming! I don't think the baby is ready to come yet. When I was at the hospital on Monday, the consultant didn't say that the baby was engaged and I still feel like the baby is spinning around a lot so I think I've got some time to go if baby is left to it's own devices....... in the meantime, I better make sure we are stocked up on toilet paper!

Sheera1 · 05/11/2020 00:15

I cannot sleep. My feet are totally throbbing. Were not before bed but considering getting up and soaking them. I was on my feet more today and outdoors for hours ,(though seated) and it was cold. It is like when your feet are freezing and when you put them in something hot and they throb so badly but have been off my feet and inside since about 5pm. It is so annoying and sore!

MsBee13 · 05/11/2020 00:27

I'm not sleeping either. I'm having Braxton Hicks for the past 30 mins and lots of pressure in my pelvis. Not talking about a dull pain in my back!

Babyhope98 · 05/11/2020 03:38

Looks like I’ll be watching schitts creek then! thanks for the recommendations ladies :-) The insomnia is back so annoying I was sleeping through again but looks like my body is getting ready for the disturbed sleep waking for hours every night 😐
