Kj1010 · 01/11/2020 20:04

@dee96 oh good not so bad if baby did come well I hope all turns out ok keep us updated xx

Snowwhite2020 · 01/11/2020 20:15

@NaomiB79 I can’t seem to see the pic 💖💘 xxx

peachypetite · 01/11/2020 20:19

Me neither!

loobeelou · 01/11/2020 20:22

@BG1234 I was expressing after every feed to try and improve my supply. DH would give a bottle of formula to DS after I had breastfed him first to 'top him up' and I would pump. It was draining.

Do what works best for you, fed is best 😉

Babyhope98 · 01/11/2020 20:56

Amazing news @NaomiB79 congratulations 💖 I can’t seem to see your pic either but I bet she’s beautiful 🤩

Nic2908 · 01/11/2020 22:01

@NaomiB79 congratulations. Welcome to the world beautiful quinn

Jwl45 · 01/11/2020 22:27

Oh my..... What a little sweetheart 💕 xx Beautiful xx
@NaomiB79

Dee96 · 01/11/2020 22:34

@NaomiB79 shes so cute!

@Kj1010 no baby here tonight! Thank goodness because as I sat in the hospital I realised how not ready I was. Turns out I had bad case of thrush though Blush but at least it wasnt all for nothing! The dr reasured me it was best caught and treated now before my induction next week

Pinktruffle · 02/11/2020 00:40

@naomiB79 Quinn is adorable! Congratulations again.

@Dee96 glad you were able to get checked out and the thrush treated, hopefully you can get your planned takeaway tomorrow night instead!

excitednerves · 02/11/2020 06:02

Congratulations @NaomiB79 little Quinn is gorgeous!

These babies arriving and worries about waters breaking are getting me a bit excited to meet my little one. Less than 5 weeks to go for me. Thrilled baby has stayed in so long as DS1 was preemie. I can’t wait for number 2 to arrive!

I had worries about reduced movements Saturday night and Sunday morning but everything was fine.

Can’t believe we’re all so close now!

kkr168 · 02/11/2020 06:33

@NaomiB79 the picture wasn't showing yesterday but is now, she is absolutely beautiful x

@excitednerves I had exactly the same, how random! I was contemplating calling the hospital, thought I'd try having a cold sugary drink then lying on my side 1st & that did the trick. Think he was just having a lazy day.

excitednerves · 02/11/2020 07:00

@kkr168 same! I called the hospital and they asked me to do the lying down trick before coming in. I also ate some of the sweets we bought for trick or treaters who didn’t come. Waste not want not!

peachypetite · 02/11/2020 07:09

I can see her now too, she’s adorable @NaomiB79 congratulations.
@Dee96 glad you got checked. I know what you mean about not being ready. These stories of babies coming earlier is making me realise I really need to get my ass in gear this week!

NatalieH2220 · 02/11/2020 07:21

Congratulations @NaomiB79

37 weeks today here so he's officially cooked! Glad as this means I can now go to the local midwife unit instead of our main hospital that's around an hour away.

Hope everyone is doing well!

Kj1010 · 02/11/2020 07:32

@dee96 glad it's not early labour and that you can get the thrush sorted before @naomib79 ur bubba beautiful congrats again

LRHRN · 02/11/2020 07:54

Congratulations @NaomiB79 she's beautiful and I'm very jealous ❤️❤️

LRHRN · 02/11/2020 08:02

@MummyShark97 @Babyhope98 Hi ladies I'm due on the same day as you both with a little girl 😊 this is my third baby but a very different pregnancy for me but treated as a FTM again as my older 2 are 13 and 9.
How are both of your pregnancy's going?
Are they going to plan?
I'm at the midwife today to see if baby has turned as she's been transverse since 16weeks, if she hasn't I'll be scanned to check her position and discuss options for delivery🤦🏼‍♀️ also to get my blood results as I've had to have a repeat Test as I've got glucose in my urine (GDT was negative at 28weeks) L xxx

Babyhope98 · 02/11/2020 08:12

@LRHRN my baby is head down since 32 weeks thankfully, but I have been in for a couple of growth scans, once because she was small and once because she’d grown too much 🤔 The scan showed she’s stayed consistently around the 90th centile so no problems there.. I also had to have another glucose test should get the results today as I keep feeling a bit dizzy so we’ll see what they say, her growth was a little bit elevated so they are wondering if I have GD. I am also being monitored for my liver as the enzymes have been raised so they’re keeping an eye on that. So not completely straight forward but not long till I meet her now and can stop worrying 😄💖

jalu47 · 02/11/2020 08:50

Morning ladies, start of another week and it feels like we are all getting close!

Congratulations @NaomiB79 what a gorgeous little girl, hope you are both doing well.

I don't know what was wrong with me yesterday but just couldn't stop blubbering, literally cried in and off for about 10 hrs - anyone else feeling overly emotional?? I think the swirling of whether to go for an induction or c section is getting to me and, with lockdown on top, it all just felt too much. Hoping this week feels calmer, actually looking forward to work being a distraction!

LRHRN · 02/11/2020 08:54

@Babyhope98 nothings ever straight forward is it.
At least she's head down and ready that's a massive bonus. Is it your first baby?

lionsmum · 02/11/2020 09:12

@NaomiB79 huge congratulations on the arrival of your little girl, hope all went well & you get home soon💖 she looks wonderful!

BG1234 · 02/11/2020 09:26

@NaomiB79 congratulations- she is so cute!

Thanks for your replies @Sheera1 @loobeelou, some great advice. I think I will end up with a c section and I know that can affect the breastfeeding process a bit. Although I’d like to breastfeed I know in reality for some it’s just not right and this process at the moment is stressful enough as it is, so I am open to going with the flow as to what works.

@peachypetite @jalu47
I’m having exactly the same wobbles at the moment. Suddenly feeling very scared and emotional. Worried about the care in hospital at the moment. Worried about whether I can cope. I’ve spent my fair share of time in hospitals, so it’s not that. It’s just I’ve always had someone by my side to support me, and I know initially after surgery I get very tearful and emotional. So I’m worried about being alone after with a baby to look after and getting it all wrong Sad

december2020 · 02/11/2020 09:27

@Sheera1 I'm totally freaking out a bit too, but on the inside only so far, I can't believe how quickly the last few weeks are zooming past. I'm so sorry about your mmc.

@BG1234 oh gosh! That's crazy! How are you feeling? At the moment they've just put it as a trace and haven't sent me for any further follow ups. Though I guess it depends on what my next urine test comes back as at 36 weeks.

@jalu47 From what I've understood the HBA1C just tries to measure your average blood sugar level for the last 2-3 months. Still waiting for that result. Great news on the diet and don't worry! You'll get that very well deserved biscuit (and something even more delicious) once we've given birth.

@peachypetite so true!! Lockdown has definitely come full circle with our pregnancies!

december2020 · 02/11/2020 09:31

Congrats @NaomiB79 !! She is absolutely beautiful!

I'm 34 weeks tomorrow, has anyone else felt their bump is just growing uncontrollably now! It feels so heavy 🙃
