They may not even call you in @Dee96, I had some discharge related issues about 2 weeks ago and a chat on the phone was fine.

Hi everyone, just a wee update from me, our beautiful baby girl Quinn Catherine was born this afternoon at 15.11 weighing 9lb 2oz.

In the end she was delivered by c-section as the induction process was not progressing.

Thanks for all of your messages asking after us I really appreciate them all.

We are so in love with our little girl, it's the best feeling ever 💗💗

@NaomiB79 congratulations to you and family! Glad to hear you and little one are doing good now hopefully it wont be too long before you can bring her home and really get to enjoy each other x

@Pinktruffle I'm hoping not but somehow dont think that's likely as it's been so on going and just had another gush episode. I dont have enough underwear for this! I did call the number but no one answered. May try again later if it keeps persisting

Congratulations @NaomiB79! She is a great weight! Hope both you and baby are doing well. If you have the time, keep us posted on your recovery as I know a couple of us will be having C-sections.

@Dee96 If you've had a gush I would defo keep calling. I think you need to speak to someone and I think you are right, they probably will want to check it's not your waters. Best of luck x

@bg1234 hello. Expressing wasn't difficult as I think I was lucky with milk supply but as at the time I was told not to give formula and wasn't confident breastfeeding in public for a long time (I have massive saggy boobs) I felt the need to Express enough to take out with me. DS was a very hungry baby and I found I was breastfeeding or expressing constantly. It was absolutely exhausting and I was very tearful especially as DS would drink it so fast and I would end up breast feeding anyway and I got better at doing it in public. The time spent doing it was not worth it. I should have slept or relaxed.

At about 16 weeks old DS was still waking every 2 hours through the night as the breastmilk digested so fast. I was a complete zombie and hallucinating. I gave in on the formula and gave him a formula feed at about 11pm and he slept till 3/4. It was such a relief.

I won't be wearing myself into the ground like that again and there is nothing wrong with bought formula. Xxx

Yay @naomib79. That is just wonderful news. I was getting so worried for you being there so long. I know c section wasn't in the game plan and might not feel happy about it now (it took me a long time to get over it though mine was very stressful in the end) but it was the right call and I bet you are just loving having that wee babs out safe. Almost same size as my DS was (9 pounds 4 onces). Looking forward to a pic. Xxxxx

@Pinktruffle thanks for the advice I did call again and managed to get threw to someone pretty quickly. She told me it sounds like my waters are leaking and to come down immediately with a bag incase I have to stay, just the perfect way to end a sunday evening. Worst part is we was meant to get a takeaway beforehand but now I'm settling for sandwiches 😂 I'm hoping it will all be fine though and I'll be allowed home tonight

@NaomiB79 congratulations on the birth of ur bubba girl a lovely name and fantastic weight @Dee96 that happened to me and it was my waters leaking they allowed me home after checking only coz I didn't want to stay but was in the next morning stayed for the night no labour then leaked green stuff baby pooped inside of me induced that day baby hour later not to scare you but very well could be waters how far are you now it's hard to keep up xx

@Kj1010 oh gosh I have heard a few stories were that happened to be the case. I'm nearly 37 weeks so wouldn't be the end of the world if she came now
