Yes I did!! Randomly all over one side of my body and in my scalp! It went away after a couple of days

I hit 37 weeks tomorrow and have my final consultant appointment to discuss growth scan and final birth choices

Even at the previous peak of lockdown partners were allowed in for active labour, I can't see that changing, even of restrictions get tighter. The ramifications for maternal wellbeing would be huge.

I agree with @Pinktruffle even in a full lockdown I refuse to believe we wouldn’t have a partner with us in active labour.

I'm 33+1 today, felt damp so went to the toilet and had a few wipes of pink blood, has anyone else had this?

I went for my fasted glucose test today and it looks like they may have done the wrong one - just the fasted glucose test instead of the fasted glucose tolerance test (unless my blood work papers were wrong/changed). So I suspect I'll be asked to do it again. Have my next midwife appointment tomorrow so will ask her. Gah!

@viixie I havent maybe best to contact midwife to get checked out and put mind at ease

@NaomiB79 goodluck for today! Cant believe were all getting so close to seeing our little ones. @viixie I would definitely think it's worth ringing up the midwife just to ask. Likelihood is it could be nothing but better safe than sorry

@viixie I had this, this morning after going to the toilet. I went into triage and all was fine with baby and cervix. It was probably caused by having sex with my partner they said, think the cervix is a bit more sensitive now I’m nearly 36w. But best to get it checked like I did x

Thanks everyone, I went to the toilet again and had a bit more pink. Spoke to the midwife and she said to keep an eye on it, she said if it gets heavier or I start getting tightenings or the baby stops moving as much then to call back again but for the moment she said she doesn’t think we need to do anything

Had midwife appointment today. Baby is engaged. She's been head down since 27 weeks tbh but it's just getting me excited now. Also due a home visit by the health visitor next week but they won't give me a specific time. Anywhere from 9:30am-2:30pm. Apparently she'll be doing a few visits in the area and won't give a specific time in case the others are longer than expected. Looks like I'll be doing a lot of waiting around. Has anyone had the home visit yet and what was it like? What did they go through?

@NaomiB79 I had a telephone call from health visitor a few weeks ago I think Is weird as before they normally come after midwife stops but apparently they do before now but mine was a telephone appointment they basically just asked if u smoke drink take drugs happy about pregnancy if ur supported if ur partner is sexually or mentally abusive do u own ur home fo u work etc

@viixie good you called. I had a fright at 28 weeks when I went to the loo before bed and there was a fair amount of blood in the loo. They had me in and did an internal exam to check it wasn't from cervix. I think it was being constipated and on blood thinners in the end as we couldn't find where it came from. Keep an eye and go in if needed.

I had my last growth scan and clinic today 36/37 weeks. All seems to be good. Baby has turned so now head down which is good as was that weird footling breech position.

Baby was not for behaving so struggled to get a chest measurement but quite happy following along the growth line just at 90th centile so big baby like DS predicted.

@Kj1010 thanks, seeing as mine will be a home visit. Midwife did say they will check if I've got everything for baby. I told her I haven't set anything up yet but she said it's fine. Can't help but feel nervous!!

@Asianchick6693 I had a home visit a few weeks back now, similar questions to @Kj1010 she also asked if I was breast/bottle feeding, where baby would be sleeping & what in, but didn't ask to look at our/babies room. It was a long visit, over an hour which I wasn't expecting.

@kkr168 thank you that's reassuring. I was worried she would ask to see the room but I haven't prepared anything yet.

We're getting a house extension done but due to covid things have slowed down a lot more than we had hoped. Wanted to use the extension to move into a bigger room but it's not happening now. I haven't bothered setting anything up as the room we're currently in is a lot smaller and I've got a bedside crib which would take up some room so better for closer to the date. Worried she might say room is too small etc but it's definitely temporary. Hopefully it's not a problem!

@Asianchick6693 I dont have a room for my baby we live in a 2 bedroom parlour house I already have 2 boys and a girl we have separated the boys room due to them needing there own space and obviously my girl has her room this baby will be in my room with me n oh which isnt big at all but big enough for a moses basket and the then the cot we have wen he is bigger I'm not sure what we will do but I ain't worrying about it and will tell anyone who has a negative opinion to do one for me aslong as his happy healthy fed clothed that's all that matters if he has to share with brothers or his sister then so be it unless we an get moved we dont own our home
