Anyone else just found out/newly pregnant?

I tested v positive this morning, with est ovulation 07.09.2020 and est due date 31.05.2021. So basically only 4 weeks pregnant?

I'm feeling only tiny symptoms - a bit bloat, crampy, fluttery tummy and a bit gassy.

Finding myself so nervous about potential miscarriage. Checking for blood every time I wee! Just exercised and worried throughout about somehow harming it Blush

Anyone else in the same position?

@Tipptopgirl this is my MAIN symptom. I am burly, constipated with no change in diet (sorry tmi), and crampy. But the burping is the main thing!!!

Burpy not burly!

Hi everyone! Congrats on your BFPs!
I'm somewhere between 4 and 6 weeks after a recent chemical pregnancy. This'll be my first baby and I'm really anxious something is going to go wrong again 😞
Trying to take it one day at a time.

Also cannot stop farting and all day long I want to eat cheese! 😆 🧀

TheDaydreamBelievers · 24/09/2020 07:54

I've just realised I accidentally ordered the "are you pregnant" clear blue digitals not the "HOW pregnant are you" ones Hmm This absentmindedness is gonna cost me lots of pennies...

@scrambledeggy welcome and congratulations 🥰 sorry to hear about your chemical, keeping everything crossed for your sticky bean🤞🏻I haven't had any previous experiences but also feel quite anxious so you're not alone 💕

Line is a little darker this morning ☺️ AF was due today so I'll feel like a little mini hurdle has been done after this week.

Hope you're all feeling okay! I seem to be fine in the morning but worse afternoon/evening?! Xx

Thank you for the good wishes @KateColx ! That's such lovely progression on your tests. Mine are much darker than last time and also getting darker by the day so now I just need to force myself to stop testing 😬

I'm also worse in the evening: knackered, hungry, crampy, and like a walking stink bomb 🥴

Omg @TheDaydreamBelievers 😂 I feel like this is something I'd do. There are so many types it boggles the mind, but at least it's reassurance right?

TheDaydreamBelievers · 24/09/2020 08:39

@scrambledeggy yeah haha, maybe I will donate them to pals who are trying. I wanted to buy a dates one because I'm not sure about when I conceived. After my BFP FRER I've been doing a cheapie One Step every day for reassurance. Not sure when I will drop this habit!

I would just be careful about continuing to test as I've heard quite a few people getting caught by the hook effect after a few weeks and has caused them so much worry xx

TheDaydreamBelievers · 24/09/2020 08:57

Thanks @ScottishLassie91 I will keep that in mind! I think hook effects are relatively rare though and occur more often in women who have conditions that cause blindingly high HCG? I will stop soon I think. I just dont believe it! My cycles were so messed up post pill and I'm pretty sure this is the first time I ovulated since I came off it at the start of March so I'm just a bit worried that it wont stick!

Hi! Congratulations on all your BFPs. Would it be ok to join you all? I got my BFP on Tuesday and I am due about the 2nd June. This will be my second (my little boy is 3). Took another test today and it is a bit darker. Was due AF today or tomorrow so will be happy to get through the next 2 days.

KateColx · 24/09/2020 09:13

@scrambledeggy @TheDaydreamBelievers glad it isn't just me who can't stop testing haha. I'm going to stop after I've used my CB on Saturday, and trust that all is okay 😬

@Tigger1987 welcome ☺️ I'm due June 2nd too! Your 13DPO line is very strong 🥰 I was worried mine wasn't so strong but I'm defo just overthinking it 😂 I'm also the same as you, AF due today so I'll be happy once I get to the end of the week. X

PandemicBabyPlz · 24/09/2020 09:19

Hi all! Mind if I join? New here but been reading through some threads whilst on the TTC journey and it’s kept me hopeful! Forgive the user name LOL! It’s like a wish to conceive this year - so... yeah!

Well three months in we got our positive yesterday, faint FRER which DH refused to see so I grabbed a digital and we got BFP pregnant 1-2 so very early days but he finally believed it! Already terrified it won’t stick. But here we are! Due date should be 7th June.

Tigger1987 · 24/09/2020 09:22

@KateColx Ah thank you!! Your lines have progressed beautifully! It is just reassuring seeing them go darker isn't it. We are practically cycle twins. I have my sister's 30th this weekend to prep for so lots to take my mind off reading into any slight twinge my body makes 🙈. x

Tigger1987 · 24/09/2020 09:25

Congratulations @PandemicBabyPlz. Fantastic news. My OH was the same. I had a very faint line on Sunday but my OH made me feel like I was bonkers. My next test proved me not as bonkers 😂. I am hoping to get a digital test today as it is just nice to see the words "pregnant" isn't it. x

ScottishLassie91 · 24/09/2020 09:31

@TheDaydreamBelievers I think so, I've heard a few people who got negatives but were still pregnant and they put it down to that. Its just so hard though! I was the same, some health scares and completely irregular so couldn't believe it. I had more FRERs but eventually returned them to stop testing lol, desperate to buy a CB digital but trying to restrain myself Hmm ...

Now I'm spending my time working out my due date based on my ovulation date rather then LMP cos clearly not obsessed at all Grin

TheDaydreamBelievers · 24/09/2020 09:35

Yeah @ScottishLassie91 my LMP gives a due date of mid May but my ovulation date gives a date at the end of may. Means my '12 week scan' is likely to hit around 10 weeks!

Means we can tell our family then I hope. Early Movember feels like years away still. I'm going to tell my best friend this weekend

Hey congrats all.coming up to 5 weeks and kinda freaking out after 5 misscarages. I don’t feel pregnant no sickness boobs not hurting feel fab/fine. I am waking up super early like 5 today but that’s it iv got progesterone suppository that I’m using with are leaking making me feel like I’m bleeding that’s making multiple anxiety through the roof. May seems such a long way away to feel like this. I just can’t get excited even thought it’s all iv wanted for three years.

EwwDavid · 24/09/2020 09:50

If everyone is sharing pics! Top is Tuesday at 12dpo, bottom is today at 14dpo.

I’m still in shock I’m pregnant. With my eldest we tried properly for about 4 months: OPKs, temperature taking, sperm meets egg plan, fertility lube, everything. And it took 4 months.

This time I came off the pill just to give my body a break and time to properly recover before TTC properly from January. I got pregnant 2 weeks after coming off the pill, and we only dtd once in the 2 week period!

It’s crazy.

TheDaydreamBelievers · 24/09/2020 09:52

@Piperdream I dont have your history so you must feel 100x more anxious, but I definitely do feel so aware of the risk of miscarriage in early weeks and just how LONG it is until that first scan! I try to tell myself that in eating well and resting I am doing all I can to safeguard my pregnancy. I have v few symptoms too - burpy, and cramping (though the cramping makes me nervous!).

OP posts:
PandemicBabyPlz · 24/09/2020 10:16

Thanks @Tigger1987 and @TheDaydreamBelievers :) it’s amazing how sensitive our line reading eyes can be. I’ve stared at so many negatives I was completely 100% sure of the faint line I got but convincing DH was impossible. He’s so scientific minded he needed to see the words!

Symptom wise I don’t have much for now, I remember thinking something was different this month as I had what I can describe as stitch like pain every now and again which was unusual.

I’m going to do another test after the weekend just to see some progression hopefully!

ScottishLassie91 · 24/09/2020 10:31

@TheDaydreamBelievers oh really? Think mine was about 2 days of a difference roughly so I'm due between 25th and 27th May according to the calendars but sure that'll all change at the scans! x

ScottishLassie91 · 24/09/2020 10:35

Also here is juay a few of my pics 🙈
First one shows test at 11DPO then 12DPO then the last 3 were 13DPO.
Other pic is 16DPO ...

@Tigger1987 yeah my husband keeps laughing when I send him a new photo every morning, I've given myself rest of the week and then I'll stop 😂 yes we are! That's good that you'll have something to take your mind off it, we have zero plans this weekend so I'll probably be googling all sorts 😂😅 x

@PandemicBabyPlz welcome and congratulations 🥰 Haha I had the same thing!! I told him when he got home from work, emotional moment and then when I showed him the test he was like there's only one line? He wasn't convinced the faint second line was the real deal 😂😂 I've saved the CB for the weekend x

@EwwDavid great lines 😍 and so quick! I didn't think this was our month at all, we'd only DTD once as well! X

BabyDust13 · 24/09/2020 12:14

😬😬

Congratulations everyone I love seeing pics of tests 🥰
