Anyone else just found out/newly pregnant?

I tested v positive this morning, with est ovulation 07.09.2020 and est due date 31.05.2021. So basically only 4 weeks pregnant?

I'm feeling only tiny symptoms - a bit bloat, crampy, fluttery tummy and a bit gassy.

Finding myself so nervous about potential miscarriage. Checking for blood every time I wee! Just exercised and worried throughout about somehow harming it Blush

Anyone else in the same position?

Thanks @TheDaydreamBelievers
I haven't even told DH as I don't trust it yet. I have only discovered pound store pregnancy tests haha. How did I not know that they existed 🤣
Here's to hoping for a healthy pregnancy!

HeyDW96 · 22/09/2020 13:20

@Tipptopgirl @Mishmased @EwwDavid congratulations guys 💞 how's everyone feeling?

EwwDavid · 22/09/2020 13:25

I feel completely normal! I have a few twinges in my womb area, that’s it. Boobs feel a bit bigger!

This will be my second, I have one other DC who will be 2 and a half when baby is born.

TheDaydreamBelievers · 22/09/2020 13:52

Lovely @EwwDavid! Nice age gap

@barbiemummy20 @Tipptopgirl @hereforallthehelp @Mishmased would this baby be a first child or do you have other children?

This will be my 2nd, 1st is 6, will be 7 the month after baby is due! We have been trying since June 2018 a bit of a shock as we had just accepted we would be a wee family of 3 exciting to think we'll be a family of 4 💕

Hey! Thankyou for directing me to this thread! Reading everyone's symptoms and personal experiences makes me feel normal lol I'm doing exactly the same! Every time I'm going to the toilet I'm looking to see if there's blood! The anxiety is ridiculous, I just want to be happy but I'm too worried. My next scan is on the 30th so hopefully I will know more then. Congrats though! Xxx
TheDaydreamBelievers · 22/09/2020 14:33

@lilly02 - I know you just found out but do you know approx how pregnant you are?

OP posts:
Mishmased · 22/09/2020 14:47

@TheDaydreamBelievers this will be baby number. I have a 7.5 and 5 year old boys. The most uneventful pregnancies, literally decided to have them and had them no drama... well until now. Before the loss, DH did say let's quit while we're ahead. I was never nervous until now and never gave it a second thought. I miscarried the day after I took out my mat clothes from the attic 😩
So I'm on tenterhooks at the moment😆

Mishmased · 22/09/2020 14:48

I'm 4 weeks going by last period@lilly02

Mishmased · 22/09/2020 14:50

@TheDaydreamBelievers I thought that was @lilly02 asking a question. Baby brain is kicking in already GrinGrin

Tipptopgirl · 22/09/2020 14:59

@HeyDW96 thank you ❤

Hi girls,

Would you mind if I join please?

I got my BFP yesterday, 1st baby and estimated due date of 2nd June 🥰

Feeling very nervous and not sure I dare to be too excited just yet but hard not to get my hopes up. XX

Well last week Monday I went to A&E as I was having really bad stomach pain!
They then told me I was pregnant!!!
I had a early scan and they could see a gestational sack so they said I was around 4 weeks! I'm now 5 weeks I guess.
I have another scan next week to make sure everything's ok.
The pain has gone and there's been no bleeding. So fingers crossed everything's ok x

TheDaydreamBelievers · 22/09/2020 16:34

Hi @KateColx and congratulations! Same day you found out as me. My bday is at start of june so if all goes well me and baby might share a birthday! It's also my first and first time I have ever been pregnant.

How are you feeling?

TheDaydreamBelievers · 22/09/2020 16:35

Question for all - when are you thinking of telling your nearest and dearest?

OP posts:
HeyDW96 · 22/09/2020 16:35

@KateColx congratulations! 💞

I told my mum today, she's like a bloodhound when it comes to me hiding things and has been since I was a child myself so it would've gotten harder and harder to hide it!🤣

maloney123 · 22/09/2020 16:36

Hey! Can I join too? I am newly pregnant and have just booked my “booking in” appointment for October. Because of Covid this will be by phone but I’m confused about the different blood and urine tests and other health checks they would usually do, if we can’t have face to face appointments? Does anyone have any idea? X

TheDaydreamBelievers · 22/09/2020 16:38

@maloney123 hello and welcome! NHS scotland are currently doing them later on, as long as they arent concerned for any reason. My telephone and scan appts are booked!

@HeyDW96 how did she react?

Mishmased · 22/09/2020 17:03

Congrats everyone. @KateColx my birthday is in June as well and due date is June 1st. I just tested again now isn't that silly Grin

Mishmased · 22/09/2020 17:05

I need to go have a lie down as my brain is all mush. @TheDaydreamBelievers you're the June birthday, I'm the 13th and DH is 16th Smile

TheDaydreamBelievers · 22/09/2020 17:19

Haha @Mishmased I think I will test every day to be honest! Just for reassurance

Not at all @BabyDust13! Hello 😊 Crossing my fingers and toes for you

OP posts:
KateColx · 22/09/2020 19:57

@lilly02 thank you 🥰

@TheDaydreamBelievers aw that's cute!! Me and my husband are both January babies so I'm super pleased to be having a summer baby ☺️ I haven't felt so bad, I seem to be okay throughout the day but I get SO tired at night 💤 how have you been? X

@Mishmased ah that's not silly at all! I'll definitely be testing every morning for a while yet 😂

On telling people, I don't live near my family and I don't want to tell them over the phone so with all of this lockdown god knows when I'll get the chance 😩 but I'm planning to tell my best friend this weekend ☺️ are you guys going to try and wait for the 12 weeks?

Anyone else had any spotting? I started last Thursday which was what made me think something was different, and I've had a bit each day since. Nothing major but still not sure if I should be worried? It says online it can be normal around the time period is due and for me that's Thursday. X
