Anyone else just found out/newly pregnant?

I tested v positive this morning, with est ovulation 07.09.2020 and est due date 31.05.2021. So basically only 4 weeks pregnant?

I'm feeling only tiny symptoms - a bit bloat, crampy, fluttery tummy and a bit gassy.

Finding myself so nervous about potential miscarriage. Checking for blood every time I wee! Just exercised and worried throughout about somehow harming it Blush

Anyone else in the same position?

@TheDaydreamBelievers she was crying, then planning buying prams etc, had to reign her back in and remind her that it is still VERY early days. But if anything did go wrong I know i would need my mum aswell as my partner ❤️

Couldn't help but buy a digital today so my partner could see the weeks appear, he said 'for someone so worried about our finances, you buy a lot of pregnancy tests' 🤣

Sarah @HeyDW96 that's so cool to see. I'm glad your mum was excited.

@KateColx it is nice but does mean my 2021 birthday might be a bit painful haha!

Hi all! Jumping on to join- I am also due 31st May based on last period. Sore boobs but otherwise well. This will be our second. My little boy will be one in two weeks

HeyDW96 · 22/09/2020 21:34

Don't take yourself over to the 'childbirth' board, some very mixed reviews of labour - some inspiring and uplifting, others truly terrifying! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Suite88 · 22/09/2020 21:39

Hello everyone. Please can I join?

I'm due 1st June. This is my first so I'm planning to ring the GP tomorrow and see what the process is.

TheDaydreamBelievers · 22/09/2020 21:54

Hello @FirsttimerNI and @Suite88 CONGRATULATIONS! How are you guys feeling?

I think almost all of us are end of may/start of June

Mishmased · 22/09/2020 22:30

Congrats everyone! May/June 2021 bh is going to be busy 😂

BabyDust13 · 22/09/2020 22:44

@TheDaydreamBelievers thank you

I think my due date is 26th May but I'm trying not to think that far ahead

Hoping to book a private scan around 7/8 weeks to check all is well

Have one clear blue weeks indicator left that I might use tomorrow/Thursday

Hoping it says 3+ but I know they aren't the most reliable

FirsttimerNI · 23/09/2020 07:12

@TheDaydreamBelievers thanks! Feeling fine so far. Based on my last pregnancy it’s too early to feel much, I didn’t get many symptoms until 6 weeks or so. Maybe a bit tired but that can be explained by a busy 11 month old lol. I will be having a c section after some complications with my last birth , so hopefully around 24/25 may!

EwwDavid · 23/09/2020 07:43

I remember the first trimester tiredness from last time! Thank god I’m WFH now so no commute and I can have lunchtime naps!

barbiemummy20 · 23/09/2020 07:44

I have woke up this morning feeling so sick 🤢 haven't felt like this so far so let the fun begin 😂 luckily I am wfh so can keep the camera off for calls as I look awful and my face is resembling a dot to dot with all the spots that have appeared, the joys x

TheDaydreamBelievers · 23/09/2020 08:04

@barbiemummy20 sorry you feel so sick! I've got to say, in a strange way I'm looking forward to having strong symptoms so it feels more real and i feel less anxious!!!

@TheDaydreamBelievers 1st pregnancy too!

ExcaliburCottage · 23/09/2020 09:16

Hi All!

Just found out last week I'm expecting baby no 2! I have PCOS so no periods so going off a clear blue test. I'll be 3 or 4 weeks. Due end of May beginning of June. Very nervous with all that's going on in the world but still excited!

Lisha91 · 23/09/2020 09:29

Hi everyone 👋 new here.
I'm coming up to my 7th week (going from last period dates). I'm booked in for my 1st scan on 1st Oct. Really nervous. If dates correct I should be due 13th May.

Weeks 4/5/6 I had headaches, very sore boobs, randomly crying, little cramping in week 4 to 5 but now completely stopped. I've not had an appetite either. Not feeling sick yet though. But very tired, having day naps. ... Last few days boobs aren't as tender but still tired all the time.
I'm like everyone else, always checking when I wipe. I've had 3 prev MC so I'm extremely nervous.

What's everyone else's symptoms?
X

Tipptopgirl · 23/09/2020 09:38

Im loving this thread. Im not annoying DH (not married just easier to write DH 🤣🤣) or my bestie this way 😜

So far im feeling well. I have some pulling sensations but nothing major. Boobs feel a bit funny cant put my finger on what the feeling is but hey, go with it.

I was very sickly with #1 and barely any symptoms apart from the odd bit of heartburn with #2.

@KateColx hey hun! I had no spotting with #1 and with #2 I had spotting at about 5 weeks and 6 weeks just once offs that they scanned me for to be safe but all was fine. This time on #3 I actually thought my period was coming because I got the 3 days of on off the odd bit of brown and pink CM when I wiped so honestly thought I was out this month then it stopped and it made me think hey wait a minute! Boom preggers 🤣 can be very normal but if you get pain with it I would ring docs just for advice.

So where is everyone from? I see a lot of lockdown mentions and we arnt in lockdown here in Ireland. Im presuming UK? I have family there and hear its not ideal atm. Having said that Ireland was locked down for 6 months basically and partly still is offices etc are wfh but apart from that everywhere else is open as usual. Strange times! Pandemic babies 😜😜

TheDaydreamBelievers · 23/09/2020 09:48

Welcome @Lisha91 and @ExcaliburCottage!

I'm only week 4 or 5 (wonky cycles so not quite sure). Pinching and cramps sensations, very faint faint nausea, feel a bit tired but always do, and I teared up at The Circle of Life on the radio this morning but then again it's a beautiful song... Blush

@Tipptopgirl I'm Scotland Smile

I had awful morning sickness right through to labour with DD so fully prepared for that again! So far I've had light cramping, sore boobs and one day of very light spotting. I actually thought I was getting my period but I had a dream I was pregnant so I took a test!

I'm in the North East, told my family last night as I like to let the ones closest to me know soon after I do, in case it all goes wrong so I have someone to talk to about it. Didn't get a good reaction from DM at all but I expected as much!

Lisha91 · 23/09/2020 09:57

Hi @TheDaydreamBelievers

Oh I totally agree with 'The Circle of Life' one of my fav films, cry everytime.

I cried the other day at the Age UK advert with the lonely old man. Lol

@Tipptopgirl I'm Liverpool 😊

Apparently symptoms can come and go cause one day my boobs are on fire and the other day they only really hurt at night time. I've had heart burn at night to. The other night I got up 6 times to pee. I'm loving It though 🙂
X

Help me out- does clearblue show weeks since conception? So @BabyDust13 that would be 3 weeks, plus the two prior to conception = 5 weeks +?
I've been using a One Step each day because I am a natural anxious panda
