Anyone else just found out/newly pregnant?

I tested v positive this morning, with est ovulation 07.09.2020 and est due date 31.05.2021. So basically only 4 weeks pregnant?

I'm feeling only tiny symptoms - a bit bloat, crampy, fluttery tummy and a bit gassy.

Finding myself so nervous about potential miscarriage. Checking for blood every time I wee! Just exercised and worried throughout about somehow harming it Blush

Anyone else in the same position?

@Bellaboo11 congrats
On my two kids I had zero symptoms on both pregnancies no sore noobs, nausea etc. Just the obvious pregnancy changes growing uterus etc. please relax and enjoy your pregnancy.xx

Bellaboo11 · 26/09/2020 13:39

@Mishmased
Thank you - I will try. I think it’s hard because I just have no idea what to expect! Xx

Tipptopgirl · 26/09/2020 15:59

@Mishmased thank you hun ❤ feeling very very nervous. Every single twinge i get i panick. Iv never miscarried before so iv no idea what could be on the cards for me. I have a pulling sensation near my right hip and am freaking. Hospital at 6pm, these 2hrs are going to drag. Do you think they will rescan if I ask them to??

So the bleed was brown and only a tiny bit on tissue when I would wipe for 2 days, then it turned dark red from about 5pm Thursday to 7pm Friday and was there mostly when I would wipe but it pooled on the tissue a few times yet not much touched the pad (???), i put on a pad (ultra so it was thinner) ,no clots but a lot of lower back cramps- wouldnt say pain.

Tipptopgirl · 26/09/2020 16:04

@Mishmased its turned brown again now so im fearing thats the pregnancy gone. But for every negative thing I think something positive enters my head so im really in a spin. Gonna try get a pic of the scan she took last night as she never gave me a pic just printed 4 things and put them in my file... i want to see them!!
DH had to leave me at the hospital door and im not great with needles, I was crying etc and on my way to the epu with no support network :( it was so scary. I feel more ok today but the worry and scenarios running around my head are mad.

With your levels of 16 at 6 weeks were they worried or just waiting to see if they doubled? My results tomorrow need to be 45 or over 🤞🤞🤞🤞

Mishmased · 26/09/2020 16:42

So at the time my levels was 16 I had been bleeding heavily and I mean heavily for 24 hours. So I would have levels lower than a regular 6 week pregnancy. They did the second test as the scan already confirmed mc. The second was to make sure levels are dropping because if they keep rising it could be a blockage some maybe ectopic. It was my first mc but I knew what it was. Bright red blood huge clots.
But that's me you're different and they can see a sac for you. Chin up.xx

Mishmased · 26/09/2020 16:49

@Tipptopgirl you have sac so yours should double and that's what they're expecting. They were expecting mine to halve as by the time I got to epu I was 48 hrs heavy bleeding. I had a private scan after 24 hours bleeding as bleeding started on a Sunday and epu closed so had private scan on Monday and epu scan Tuesday.

Mishmased · 26/09/2020 17:11

It doesn't sound like mc more spotting if it didn't touch the pad. You would recognize it when it happens. I never had one until recently and I knew what it was when I went to pee and my underway was covered in blood.
See if they will scan you again, try to stay calm, could be twins who knows. Let me know how you get on ❤️❤️
Oh sorry for all the scattered replies, I keep reading your messages over and over and replying.

Mishmased · 26/09/2020 23:02

@Tipptopgirl I'm terrible with scans but it does date you tho so that's good🤞
How did you get on this evening?

Bluebirdsky · 26/09/2020 23:10

Hi everyone. I had a positive test on Thursday. I am only 4+1 today with my second.

Mishmased · 26/09/2020 23:57

Congrats @Bluebirdsky welcome to the club. Welcome to any other new joiners 😁

seebychloee · 27/09/2020 07:49

Really want to get excited but going to try and wait till my scan. Might push and see if I can get one early due to a recent mc. I really hope this little bean sticks. ❤️

Tipptopgirl · 27/09/2020 08:34

@Mishmased hey, the dr was very blunt & hope smashing. He said how my levels will come back as dripping and I will lose the pregnancy. Then the female dr said "or you could just be very very early pregnancy" i said ya I could be 4/5 weeks" so they both looked at each other and ummed saying ok so very early pregnancy. But he did say then how the scan stuff was absolutely nothing but why did she get a picture of it then? I will have my new level results either tonight or tomorrow morning.. gonna be the worst wait!!

Mishmased · 27/09/2020 09:55

@Tipptopgirl I'm so sorry, doctors can be blunt sometimes which doesn't help. I'm still hoping it was just spotting and you're very early pregnant. I never had an early scan before 12 weeks until mc in July. I know most places don't scan until at least 6 weeks. Wait for your bloods to come back first. The waiting is pure torture fingers crossed it will be good news. Did they say anything more about the sac? Are they still there?

Mishmased · 27/09/2020 09:56

Congrats @seebychloee hope the nerves ease up for everyone.xx

SugarPlumRoar · 27/09/2020 10:43

@Tipptopgirl I'm so sorry you're having this stress and going through this.

I know our EPU won't scan until 7 weeks even an internal scan as they deem it too early.

I'm really hoping that it's a very early pregnancy and it's been some spotting. The other possibility is that potentially it has been a twin pregnancy and that unfortunately one hasn't made it but the other has which would mean lower levels but at the sort of level you would expect for an early singular pregnancy.

I hope it all works out ok for you, thinking of you

maloney123 · 27/09/2020 11:36

@Tipptopgirl so sorry for your experience and keeping everything crossed for you

@seebychloee I’ve had Lower back Ache every day now since I found out! I’m so so anxious something will go wrong but trying not to think of it.

Does anyone else find the time absolutely dragging like never before?! I’m itching to tell people or at least have a scan! The next 8 months (please god) will be torture!

Mishmased · 27/09/2020 12:00

@maloney123 my doctor said to book an antenatal appt for 3 weeks. He won't see me until 7 weeks. The days are so dragging. At least there's work for distraction but it is soo slow.

Amethyst2502 · 27/09/2020 13:48

Hi all, I had a proper squinter yesterday on a ic and then this faint positive on a FRER this morning at 10dpo. Still very very early so I'm tentatively excited but also very nervous!

Lovely @Amethyst2502 congrats!

BC2021 · 27/09/2020 14:03

Hi everyone!
I’ve recently found out I’m pregnant (due end of may2021) unsure of DD just yet, waiting for a dating scan in a few weeks! 😬

This is my first pregnancy and when I first found out I was SO bloomin excited
But then the fear of having a MC has taken over! I’m SO anxious about it!
In all honesty I’m also not enjoying pregnancy so far, the sickness and tiredness and belly cramps etc. I just don’t feel myself.
And now because of the anxiety I’m worried about everything, what if I’m not a good mum? What if I don’t like being a mum?
Oh my head won’t stop spinning! Probably not helped by the fact I’ve got a stinking cold right now 🤧 I just want the excitement to come back!
Has anyone else felt like this?
Sorry! Hope you’re all well!

Mishmased · 27/09/2020 17:29

@BC2021 congrats. Don't be worrying, I had two back to back pregnancies with no issues so it doesn't always end in mc. So try to enjoy your good news.x

maloney123 · 27/09/2020 17:37

@BC2021 oh that’s exactly how I feel!!! Horrible isn’t it 😂 I was so focussed on getting pregnant I didn’t even think about how I’d feel once it happened. Hopefully as time passes we’ll feel calmer and more settled

BC2021 · 27/09/2020 17:45

@Mishmased that is so reassuring to hear thank you!

@maloney123 oh thank goodness I’m not the only one! That’s actually really reassuring to hear that someone else feels the same, I was starting to spiral! I’m hoping once I get to the 12 week mark I’ll feel more at ease and enjoy it again, I hope the same goes for you (or sooner ideally 🙃).
