@Amelia891 I am having spotting too - started last night. Very light, but definitely there. I spoke to midwife today who didn't seem concerned but said to keep and eye on it and call back tomorrow if still ongoing. I'm 12+3 so similar stage.

Sending you good vibes. I'm also very anxious, so just know you're not alone xx

Amelia891 · 01/11/2020 17:00

Thanks I much for all your kind replies, they are reassuring. I’ve had a tiny bit more this eve so now waiting for a call back from out of hours GP but still no pain and only a really small amount so trying to be positive. If the doc does want me to go to the EPU I can’t go until tomorrow anyway because of childcare.

@legohaus sorry you’re going through it too, so stressful! Sending you good vibes too. Let me know how you get on x

Amelia891 · 02/11/2020 17:27

How are you doing today @legohaus ? x

Chance2020 · 02/11/2020 19:10

@Amelia891
How did you get on today?
Hope you're ok!

Amelia891 · 02/11/2020 20:02

All fine thank you @Chance2020 🤞🏼 No more spotting and spoke to the GP who said she didn’t think I needed to go to the EPU because it was such a small amount and no pain, plus they weren’t sure they’d be able to get me in before my scan on Weds morn anyway. She did say that spotting sometimes happens after a UTI and I had one last week so I’m hoping that’s all it was. I’m going to be a nervous wreck on Weds I’m sure. How is everyone else?

PinkyX · 03/11/2020 12:33

hi everyone! Just wanted to join your group, im 13+3 with baby n3. Hope you're all well Flowers x

StrawberriCream · 04/11/2020 16:10

I'm now 13+6 with baby number 4 and it's starting to get noticeable, maternity trousers are out

DiabeticFirstBaby · 04/11/2020 18:00

Hi all,

Glad all seems ok @Amelia891!
I'm 13+5 today, have got some new bras already in next size up and non wired as I was out growing mine. I'm still able to get in my normal skinny jeans atm but by evening i'm super bloated! When will i need maternity clothes? it's my first baby.

Chance2020 · 04/11/2020 18:36

Did you get your scan today @Amelia891 xx

Amelia891 · 05/11/2020 06:50

Scan was brilliant! Saw both my long legged babies! Turns out (as I knew would happen!!) I was measuring 14+1 not 13+3 so couldn’t have any NHS screening tests so having to get a private NIPT on Sunday. Everything has been moved to consultant care and I get scans every 2 weeks (due to them sharing a placenta) so I’m happy I get to see them so much.

They don’t let MCDA twins go past 36 weeks so my new due date is actually 6th April!

Thanks for all your reassuring words after my spotting and checking in, I really appreciate it ☺️

Chance2020 · 05/11/2020 08:27

Amazing news @amelia891
Glad all went well!!!
Stick with us on the May babies thread will be good to see how you get on!
Glad you're doing well too!!
So exciting for you!

Rascalia86 · 07/11/2020 08:28

Hi all!
So, I had the harmony test done last week, after having a high downs chance come through after my first scan and screening. All is good, all trisomy risks are 1 in 10000. And as a bonus, I got to find out the gender! I'm having a girl! On another note, later the same day, I also tested positive for Covid19. 😅

Michellefamily · 09/11/2020 06:53

Hi everyone hope everyone is doing well. Sorry havnt been on recently but have been busy with work. The time has finally come when I go for my 12 week scan this morning at 9.15. Feeling very nervous.
Ud think it was my first time 😂. Feeling hopeful every OK. X

Chance2020 · 09/11/2020 07:04

Good lucky @Michellefamily let us know how it goes xx

I'm 14 weeks now, anyone else getting what I ca growing pains every week a little discomfort but nothing crazy!

CatLady20 · 09/11/2020 07:11

@Chance2020 I was just about to post this! Feel like I've had a little growth spurt over the weekend, I'm just 14 weeks now 😊

Chance2020 · 09/11/2020 07:21

@CatLady20 ah that reassuring to know too!
I had a little spurt at 13wks where my belly had definitely popped out, and I'd get some pain for 3 days and then completely disappear, then same thing happened exactly a week later, I haven't noticed any growth this week though yet.
It's like niggly pains across the top of my pubic bone area & down the sides of my belly.
How u feeling in general? Xx

CatLady20 · 09/11/2020 09:09

@Chance2020 me too, not painful for me though, just a really strange stretch feeling. I'm feeling good otherwise, still tired though but I think that's just standard adulting! How are you feeling?

Chance2020 · 09/11/2020 11:39

@catlady20
still a little tired, only napping maybe once a week now though!
Feeling sick maybe once or twice a week, nothing in comparison to the first trimester which is great!
I'm constantly HUNGRY though!!!Yeah

Michellefamily · 09/11/2020 14:19

Hi everyone sorry only getting to reply now. Everything went well today. All good and my due date is 23rd May. Just reading bk on last couple messages. I've had nausea every day since a week b4 my missed monthly and still continuing. Only thing that stops me being sick is eating. Over the last couple days I've been able to feel this wee heavy bump which is obviously baby moving up. I'm totally racked in bed b4 9pm but waking at 4am plus. With leg cramps. Anyone else getting leg cramps yet??

Littlebee1990 · 27/11/2020 06:47

@Chance2020 Hey! All good here thanks, 16 weeks on Sunday! How are you? I still have no symptoms, so unnerving!!

Michellefamily6 · 27/11/2020 07:00

Chance2020. Thank you. Im no better nausea getting worse by the day, totally racked and stressed but mostly due to work. As I personalise clothing and other bits and bobs so really busy with Christmas orders. I've told my 13 year old daughter and she cried with happiness. But other 4 still don't know yet even though I have a good size bump for 15 weeks on Sunday. How r u getting on?

EyesOfYuna · 07/03/2021 19:20

Hi ladies, I know we've not used this thread in months but I hoped now was a good time to revive it since we are approaching the home straight!
I am 32 weeks today with a boy and although I have done this 3 times before its all feeling a bit overwhelming at the moment so having other ladies to moan chat with who are in similar positions would be helpful. Smile

May2021Mummy · 07/03/2021 19:29

@EyesOfYuna hi I wasn't on this thread before but I'm due on the 31st May. I'm 28 weeks tomorrow

Hoping I can jump on - I don't know any other pregnant ladies so would be grateful for the chat

Congratulations everyone

Have you all found out what you are having? And picked names yet?

X

Rascalia86 · 07/03/2021 19:36

I'm 31+2 with a little girl. My first pregnancy and likely my only but am quite excited now for her to arrive. I'm due 7th of May. :)
