Hi, I'm starting a new thread for all those mummas who conceived recently and will be due in May next year (2021)

I just found out I'm pregnant, estimated due date currently 11th May 2021

So excited!! Anyone else??

Is anyone first time mummas or is this baby #2, 3... ?? Xx

@Michellefamily it was the same with me. I was mentally preparing myself for them to tell me it was no longer there, or there was no heartbeat. I think it was just me over-worrying in the end. I've been randomly using cheap pregnancy tests and thats really the only thing that's kept me sane. Fingers and toes all crossed for you. 😊

Amelia891 · 27/10/2020 06:58

So pleased to see everyone’s scans!! I was 12 weeks Sunday but still 8 days to go until my scan 😬 told a few more close friends this week, mainly because I cannot hide this bump anymore!

Michellefamily · 27/10/2020 08:25

@Rascalia86 thanks hun, I did tests all the time with my 5th pregnancy as I'd been told the week b4 I found out I was pregnant I couldn't have any more. Which turned out to be incorrect. 😊
But apparently if something is wrong the hormones still in ur system so will still gave a positive reading. So haven't did it thus time. But the last couple days I've that feeling of emptiness even though I still have morning sickness.

Chance2020 · 27/10/2020 18:31

@Michellefamily

I'm trying to tell myself the same thing though 🙄

He/she was upside down for a while so had to do some wiggling
She spent ages trying to get good pics for us, but we saw lots of stretching and leg kicking which was amazing to see!

DiabeticFirstBaby · 29/10/2020 19:33

Thanks All
Hugh relief, then onto panicky mode hoping we just get there.
Just have to take it 1 day at a time

Is everyone announced/announcing theirs now at 12 weeks?

DiabeticFirstBaby · 30/10/2020 19:22

We have told family and close friends. Won't be announcing anything on social media, that's not us. I'm 13 weeks today and starting to feel more relaxed each week now, feel better that the risk of miscarriage reduced by so much now i'm past 12 weeks but still got my toes crossed just in case as you just never know. Hope you can relax a bit now @Chance2020

Chance2020 · 31/10/2020 08:55

Congrats @elh06 💙💖
Love the scan photos!
How are you feeling?

Anyone got a decent bump yet?
I've got a tiny one going on but nothing you would notice. I'm also quite tall so hoping there's lots of space for a growing belly!

Yeah @DiabeticFirstBaby
It's still a little nerve racking but we're doing well as each day passes now! Fingers crossed for sure!!
We're just telling family & our closest friends today
But we can't see anyone as we're in national lockdown in Wales so it's a facetime one! & Maybe a few doorstep calls!

Amelia891 · 01/11/2020 08:19

Hi all,

I’ve just woken up to the tiniest amount of spotting and I’m so scared. I know a bit of spotting can be normal but I’ve never had it at all in my previous pregnancy so I’m panicking a bit. It was such a small amount and I have no cramps. I’m 13 weeks today but 12 week scan isn’t until Weds. Has anyone else had spotting at this stage? Do you think I should call my midwife?

DiabeticFirstBaby · 01/11/2020 08:36

Hi @Amelia891 give either your midwife or EPU a call (what ever you have been advised to do) and they will give you some advise. Better to call then sit stressing about it all day. I had some brown spotting at 4 weeks and got examined and had a scan at EPU and all was ok. Will keep fingers crossed for u, let us know how you get on.

Chance2020 · 01/11/2020 10:35

@Amelia891
Yeah give them a call,
I personally haven't had any spotting yet,
But I know so many people that had around this stage and further
Put your mind at ease and rest up too

Whilstwewait · 01/11/2020 13:18

@amelia891 I've had it twice. Only a tiny amount but had a scan after both and baby was absolutely fine. Try not to worry. It could be irritation of the cervix caused by any strain such a coughing/ sneezing/constipation x
