Hi, I'm starting a new thread for all those mummas who conceived recently and will be due in May next year (2021)

I just found out I'm pregnant, estimated due date currently 11th May 2021

So excited!! Anyone else??

Is anyone first time mummas or is this baby #2, 3... ?? Xx

@EyesOfYuna congratulations. This is my number 6. My eldest is also 18 and youngest 6. I'm due 23rd May. 3 weeks after my 2nd eldest turns 17. I also feel nervous especially because of my eldest I don't know how he's going to react. I'll be 10 weeks on Sunday so I've told my hubby that I think we should tell him once I get my 12 week scan but would like to hold of 2 Xmas morning b4 telling the youngest one. But I think my 13 year old daughter has her suspicions.

Our children all know, there's been no hiding the sickness and my 9yo was really worried I was sick. 18yo dd surprised me, thought she'd hate the idea but is so excited and asking to be my birthing partner so don't worry prematurely, he might surprise you.

Had my 12 week scan today, measuring 11+6 so due 7th May! Everything looked fine. I too was super nervous! good luck for your scans tomo!

@DiabeticFirstBaby congratulations! It all seems a bit more real after the first scan, or at least it did for me!
Is this your first too? Will you be finding out the gender? How is covid affecting things where you are? My DP wasn't allowed in for the first scan, but should be allowed at 20 weeks.

thanks @EthelTheGoose Yes first baby, deff feels more real after today, so lovely! Yes think we will find out the gender, i'm a planner!! what about you? My DH can come to all of my scans, including my extra ones for my diabetes so really lucky, that may all change I guess depending on how covid increases. The numbers in the hospital are increasing quickly. That's good your DP can go to the 20 week scan tho.

Hey all, got my first scan on Wednesday, measured 11w1 so due on 9th May, all looked good! Bean was very wiggly so all my pics have the head looking really strange as they kept waving their arms 😁 it was very amazing

@EyesOfYuna thank u. I'm hoping so well I just gt my appointment for my 12 week scan 4 the 9th Nov so. It'll nt b long now till we hv 2 tell him. I've been sick since the weeks b4 my missed period and my 13 year old said to me the other day that there must be something wrong with me 😂 I just changed the subject. My 6 year old has started watching a mummy and baby program with a song in it saying mummy's got a baby in here tummy. 😂 So can't wait to tell here but I'm definitely going 2 wait till Xmas morning as the elfs r leaving here a balloon to pop with the scan pic inside it and a Tshirt saying Santa's prompted me to big sister. So Xmas can't come soon enough.

Hi ladies can I join?
Had my 12 week scan yesterday and due 2nd May. Took over an hour to get my scan as baby was doing headstands so I was sent on a long walk which worked!
I've had really bad HG but today for the first time I haven't yet been sick so crossing everything that this is a sign that things are improving.

@Chance2020 ah thanks for asking and remembering☺️. It went well thank you, I'm a few days behind were i thought and am 12 weeks today. All looked fine and had all the screening bloods so want to wait for that letter/news. Had flu jab whilst there which pleased about as was on my list of things to do at the doctors but so easy to have it done there and then.
How are you? Hope everyone else is doing ok?
It still hasn't sunk in for me yet!!!! I was so relieved it was real and an actually baby was there but still I have to keep looking at the pics to confirm it to myself!!

Exciting to see all the scans happening! Mine is in the morning and I'm so nervous about it and the screening tests. Still can't let myself get too invested until those are ok!

Mine is Thursday coming.
I should be 13 weeks that day.
Feeling alot better, more good days now, getting anxious about the scan! It can't come quick enough tbh!!
Yeah I bet, until they start kicking its Gona be a weird waiting game isn't it.
When's your 20 week? Just before Christmas?

@Chance2020 ah good luck for Thursday. Don't know why I'm in denial tbh! But v excited all the same! Worked today and feeling quite rubbish this evening - think it might have to be an early night!
Yeah 20 weeks is booked for week before Xmas. Feel like xmas isn't far away but that scan is! But also will be halfway by then which just seems surreal. Think it'll be lovely to big over winter and not peak summer though!

We decided not to have the screening tests as wouldn't want anything invasive. Hope all looks ok for you tho.
I feel fine, less tired and my insane grumpiness seems to have settled but boobs still sore and getting more bloated, my skinny jeans are staring to feel a bit tight, not sure when I should start looking at maternity clothes, i feel like I don't want to tempt fate! 😳

Hi everyone - I have my 12 week scan tomorrow and the anxiety is setting in! I was practically in tears getting on to the bed at my private scan at 8 weeks I got myself so worked up!!

@Rascalia86 congrats! great picture! i'm also due 7/5/21!! will be induced end of April though. I haven't bought anything and probably won't until after the 20 week scan, I just don't want to tempt fate.

@DiabeticFirstBaby I just can't help myself. 😅 we put a deposit down on a travel system a few days after we found out, not intentionally, but they did us an amazing deal.

@elh06 thank you. I'm so relieved, I've had some scares over the last week or so, but seeing the baby on the screen, wriggling away, was incredibly reassuring. 😁

@Rascalia86 ❤️❤️ My 2nd eldest birthday is 7th May. I just wish I didn't have to wait another 2 weeks. Something just doesn't feel right with me the last couple days 😔
