@Rascalia86 thank you. X

Woke up and went to the loo first thing and saw some blood trickle out into the toilet bowl, fished out a clot which I don’t think is tissue but still not good. Now when I go to the toilet, which I’m trying not to do as it’s so traumatic, dark brown liquid is coming out. Not loads but it’s more than it was.

I really think it’s all over and have been crying all morning. How can it go from seeing a heartbeat to this? We knew it didn’t guarantee anything but we were hopeful for the little thing.

It’s not over til it’s over but I just don’t have any hope anymore.

bananallamas · 07/10/2020 12:06

I'm so sorry @Cafeaulait27 that must be so stressful especially not knowing. I am still getting bleeding on and off although not loads, but like I think I said before it's due to the hematoma and apparently not a sign that things are going wrong. So it could just be that for you too, we didn't see the hematoma on my first scan as it wasn't big enough but on the second one it showed and they do produce a surprising amount of blood. I've been told that mine is 1.5 x 0.7cm which they said is fairly small and it has produced a fair bit of blood already, the doctor said it always looks more as the blood will get mixed with other fluids/discharge (TMI sorry lol) so it really looks a lot more than it actually is.

Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you xx

Cafeaulait27 · 07/10/2020 12:08

Thank you @bananallamas I’m trying to cling on to this hope ❤️❤️ Will keep you updated. The blood is so alarming isn’t it xx

wannabemum1989 · 07/10/2020 20:26

So sorry to hear of the stressful time you're going through @cafeaulait27 - crossing my fingers for you. I had a slightly alarming surprise of some brown discharge today - I had some 2 or 3 weeks back (pre-early scan, which was all good) so just hoping everything is still fine. Really not loving the anxiety of the first trimester!

Cafeaulait27 · 07/10/2020 21:04

@wannabemum1989 thank you, at least I don’t have long to wait now. Sorry to hear about your brown discharge - hopefully it’s just a little irritation for you and won’t turn into anything else. Early pregnancy sucks! ☹️

mummabubs · 08/10/2020 10:10

Will be thinking of you today @Cafeaulait27, hope the scan can give you some answers and clarity x

Cafeaulait27 · 08/10/2020 11:34

Hey all, it’s bad news. No heart beat. They can’t confirm miscarriage on the first scan if it’s under 7mm, it’s measuring 5.5mm. So they have to rescan in 10 days but it’s just a formality really, and will probably be to check everything has passed.

I really wanted to be one of those people where it’s all ok. It was really horrible cos at first they said they could see a heartbeat but then said they couldn’t, and it’s way too small for 9 weeks which is what I should be now.

So now I just have to wait for the poor little thing to come out.

leftitlate37 · 08/10/2020 13:10

Cafeaulait27 · 08/10/2020 13:25

Thank you so much @leftitlate37 ❤️❤️❤️

I don’t know what I would do without this mumsnet community! I’m so grateful for all your support and I hope the rest of you continue to have healthy pregnancies and beautiful babies in May 2021.

mummabubs · 08/10/2020 13:26

Really sorry it hasn't ended well for you @Cafeaulait27. Can you take the rest of the day to snuggle up at home and look after yourself? Hugs, chocolate, hot bath and a glass of wine are my go to soothers for horrible days, hope you can do the things that help to soothe you. Xx

Michellefamily · 08/10/2020 18:02

@cafeaulait27 I'm so sorry to hear of your sad news.

Cafeaulait27 · 08/10/2020 18:56

@mummabubs @Michellefamily really wish I was coming here with good news today, thank you for your support.

Luckily I am working from home cos of covid, a few of my colleagues know (and are sworn to secrecy) and they managed to get me out of a video call this afternoon which was lovely of them. So I just took it easy but to be honest it was so much to process that I just got on with some work, even though I was crying. I got more work done this afternoon than I have all week, because of the worry if I’d hardly done anything. Luckily it’s an easy day at work tomorrow so I’m just curling up on the sofa tonight and will chill out this weekend.

It was even sadder today because we had some false hope, the sonographer said she saw a heartbeat but later said she didn’t. For about 10 minutes I was thinking oh my god, I can tell my parents it’s ok after all... but no. Just one of those things. Xxx

Michellefamily · 08/10/2020 19:46

@cafeaulait27 reading this is just heartbreaking. I wish u all the luck for the future. 🍀🤗

bananallamas · 08/10/2020 20:06

@Cafeaulait27 I'm so sorry that must be so devastating for you. It's the hope that's so hard to deal with. I had a loss in February at 7 weeks but I knew almost from the start that things didn't seem to be progressing well and I never got to the point of seeing a heartbeat so it wasn't as difficult for me to accept as I was never really holding out hope if that makes sense.

Please be kind to yourself and take some time to rest up and take it easy. Sending you hugs xxx

wannabemum1989 · 08/10/2020 20:29

Such awful news @Cafeaulait27, I'm so sorry to hear that. I really hope you get lots of support from family and friends and do lots of taking care of yourself xx

mylittlebean2019 · 08/10/2020 21:39

@Cafeaulait27 - so so sorry to hear the sad news. Sending you hugs xx

CatLady20 · 08/10/2020 22:24

Babygornall21 · 11/10/2020 12:29

Congratulations everyone I’m on baby number 1 currently 7+2 weeks! Feeling very groggy and sick! Hope it passes soon I want to feel like a human again!

Nurserycottages · 11/10/2020 13:26

How's everyone feeling? I'm 7 weeks 4 days and am so not feeling myself. I'm tired all the time, no energy and constantly feeling sick (just heaving not actually sick) I know it'll be worth it in the end but first baby and didn't expect to feel this bad xx

Babygornall21 · 11/10/2020 16:09

@Nurserycottages I’m totally with you! I feel awful I just want to curl up into a ball most of the time! Hope it passes soon x

stairway · 11/10/2020 16:19

I feel dreadful, tired sick. The only thing I can eat is marmite sandwiches and ice cream.

mummabubs · 11/10/2020 16:38

9+1 here and still feeling delightfully sick with a daily up chuck as well as the heaving 😂 This is exactly how I was with DC1 so trying to see a positive that hopefully if I'm feeling this crap it means things are progressing ok. My biggest issue actually is back pain, I can only sleep on my back at night as sides make me feel nauseous but then I'm waking up between 5-6am every day with excruciating back ache 😬

Chance2020 · 11/10/2020 18:53

I'm 10+3 at the moment and today I feel alot better than normal with more energy, and have only felt sick this evening!
I've managed to stay up past 9pm the last two nights too! Still napping during the day though.
Boobs still sore, constipation, spotty,
I was a little bit worried not feeling sick all day today, but I'm hoping I'm getting better as time goes on now? 🤷🏻‍♀️
Is anyone else this far along yet or almost 12 weeks? How is everyone else feeling?

DiabeticFirstBaby · 11/10/2020 19:31

I'm 9+6 today and i have to say i think i've got away lightly. No nausea or sickness at all! Boobs sore and have grown, bloated and more gassy than usual, tiredness hits around 4:30pm and sleepy in evenings but that's it. I feel very lucky!
