Hi, I'm starting a new thread for all those mummas who conceived recently and will be due in May next year (2021)

I just found out I'm pregnant, estimated due date currently 11th May 2021

So excited!! Anyone else??

Is anyone first time mummas or is this baby #2, 3... ?? Xx

@donewithbeingpreg I still have brown discharge but no red blood, I have seen on other threads other women reporting lots of bleeding and then went on to have healthy pregnancies though! Xx

@Cafeaulait27 that's what I'm hoping. It could be absolutely anything. Obviously though I just can't stop thinking about it and worrying 😅🤦🏻‍♀️ thank you though for the reassurance. I like to just hear that it's common despite already knowing, it's good to hear it again and again

@donewithbeingpreg as long as it is brown discharge no need to worry, that could be old blood xx.

I got my first booking appt at 11th week apparently midwifes are super busy in my area now. I'm very worried because I couldn't get my blood work done before 10th week. Hope things go okay.

@NRDoss no no I've been having brown, red and tiny clots along with cramping for about 3-4 days now. Yet a healthy baby with a strong heartbeat seen yesterday. That's why we are very confused 🤷🏻‍♀️🤭😭

@donewithbeingpreg I am nearly 9 weeks, and I have had a fair few bleeds. I had a scan at 6weeks, and nothing was seen that could be causing the bleeding. I had another scan at 7 weeks (via our ivf clinic) and a small heamatoma was seen. That morning I would describe it as a heavy bleed.
I have had bleeding again a couple of times, but I have not done anything about it, as I figured they won’t keep scanning me, so I’m just going to try and hold out until my 12 week scan (I’m now 9 weeks), unless I get significant bleeding/cramping.
I know how you feel it’s horrible and I’m anxious every time I go to the toilet.

@Zowey232 I truly hope you're baby is ok, glad I'm not alone going through it (at the same time not glad it's happening at all) 💓

@donewithbeingpreg I know what you mean. I am not enjoying or relaxing into this pregnancy at all. As soon as I start to chill out a bit, it starts again! I hope all is ok with you, I would suggest maybe speaking to epu if it gets heavy or you get cramping etc. The clinic told me that some women just bleed, and there’s no explanation for it, which whilst she was trying to reassure me, it still hasn’t stopped me worrying x

@Zowey232 yeah I mean, I was bleeding for about 2 days before I had the scan telling me all was ok, and it's not better but it's also not exactly gotten worse per se. That's why I'm holding out hope. He told me to phone doctors back in 48 hours if it's not gotten better so I'm just waiting to see x

Just got back from my scan... ITS TWINS.
I’m in shock, I’m so happy. I literally burst into tears when the sonographer told us. Both with heartbeats and both measuring exactly 8w 3 which is what I thought I was. Absolutely praying they are both ok and counting down the days until my 12 week scan so I can see them again!

God I am so tired today! I’ve really noticed it over the past week or so. I have a headache behind the eyes and feel a bit spaced out, my balance is all off and I’m just so tired. I also feel hungry all the time!

It’s a good job I’m working from home due to covid and can just chill out!

Is anyone else feeling like that? I’m 7 weeks.

@donewithbeingpreg Oh.. I can understand the confusion and anxiety.. bleeding are sometimes normal, it is scary for us.. hope the bleeding and cramping stops for you xx

Thank you! @Chance2020 no idea at all! My daughter was a twin (non identical, fraternal) but we found out at the first scan with her that one had stopped growing about 6 weeks. But with her I felt VERY pregnant right away, I’ve not had such strong symptoms this time so I was convinced it was only one but there are two! Non identical run in my family but these are in the same sac so looking like they could be identicals, which is purely chance apparently not genetic! It was so hard to read the Sonohrapher’s expression because of his mask I was worried why he was quiet for so long. Feeling incredibly lucky and just hoping they both are ok. Feeling exhausted today but it might be the emotional side of it all plus I’ve been up since 5.30am stressing about the scan.

Fingers crossed for everyone on this thread and hope everyone with early scans coming up gets good news too xx

Well, scan done and all is good according to the sonographer. Heart beating nice and fast, wriggling away. Its an amazing sight. Bang on date too. 8 weeks 2/3 days, due 9/10 may. So happy!!

I'm out. I've just had a miscarriage this evening. I pray all your pregnancies are a success and you have healthy babies. I'm thankful I've still for my 5 month old baby boy healthy as anything to focus on thank you lord 🙏🏻
