I take Nutrigolds Range
Folic Acid
Pregnacare
Both at night after food
They're supposed to be good and not bulked up with crap 🤷🏻‍♀️ ive been taking Pregnacare for around 6 months and they also helped regulate my periods.

Nannon145 · 24/09/2020 19:44

Anyone else’s lower stomach rock solid? I don’t know whether it’s always been like that and I’m just symptom spotting? 😂

Mrsp2be22 · 24/09/2020 19:48

@ Cafeaulait27 in the evenings I get such bad headaches and dizziness when I stand up. I just take a few paracetamol with lots of water!

leftitlate37 · 24/09/2020 20:51

ah that's cool @Rumples! have u got your first appt booked in yet then?
poor u @Cafeaulait27 - so far doing ok with no headaches but defo had some head rushes when standing up.
My main problem at the moment is just wanting to burp the whole time! had a diet Sprite earlier in the hope id actually just do a proper one!!
hmmm @Nannon145 my stomach defo has been at points when ive felt really bloated, sadly i feel like theres a bit of a squishy layer on the part under my belly button at the mo haha.

Rascalia86 · 25/09/2020 01:22

@Nannon145 yes, from my belly button down feels solid. I've had a bit of nausea and dizziness but nothing too bad. My boobs are so sore though, I cant even hug my other half properly anymore.

TheDaydreamBelievers · 25/09/2020 07:06

@leftitlate37 @Nannon145 @Rascalia86 - similar symptoms here! Super burpy, constipated, hard lower abdomen, faint nausea

Nannon145 · 25/09/2020 09:25

Actually threw up for the first time this morning. Hopefully that doesn’t continue. However, I wouldn’t mind it if I just threw up and that’s it for the rest of the day, not the constant nausea.
I’ve ordered myself some anti-sickness bands to see if that helps

Emmaemma23 · 25/09/2020 18:22

Hi ladies! Hope you are all well ❤️
Just wanted to ask, has anyone experienced bleeding? Supposedly it is common but I don't feel like more than spotting is!
I had bright red bleeding for hours on Sunday so I was sure I was going to Mc.
However my scan on Tuesday showed all was fine and no real reason for the bleeding. It's stopped and is on and off but it really worries me, the first trimester is blooody hard!
Anyone else?!

Emmaemma23 · 25/09/2020 18:28

@Nannon145
Unfortunately no, still squishy as ever 😂

Emmaemma23 · 25/09/2020 18:33

I haven't really felt morning sickness as such (yet) and maybe this is a weird Emma one but does anyone else find themselves thinking about things you've eaten like in the past few days and it makes you feel sick (even if I really enjoyed it at the time?!)
Making me run out of options 😂😂😂😂

mummabubs · 26/09/2020 09:56

@Emmaemma23 I had the same thing in my first pregnancy at 8 weeks and thankfully all was fine. What the midwife said is that bleeding in early pregnancy is not normal, but it is common. It's scary though isn't it- glad you've had reassurance through your scan 😊

Nannon145 · 26/09/2020 10:03

Really struggling with the sickness the last couple days. Throwing up and just constantly feeling sick. Anyone got any tips for me? My sickness bands should be arriving today so hopefully they will help

XenniallMama · 26/09/2020 15:32

Hi ladies, I am 6+3 today and just had my first scan yesterday and the doctor saw a heartbeat and everything is fine. I had really heavy symptoms during week 4 (nausea, sore breasts, chills, ringing ears, massive bloating and cramps etc) and then these faded away to nothing last week, to the point I was convinced I wasn’t pregnant. Today I am feeling massively queasy though and felt I needed to vomit this AM. This just started up again from nowhere. This is my first pregnancy (at 39 Smile) so I don’t know what to expect — is this normal??? Can symptoms just come and go? I am so excited but no idea what is normal! Any advice welcome.

Rumples · 26/09/2020 18:08

@Nannon145 I'm the same but not actually being sick. It's a constant feeling of nausea and the only thing that stops it is having a nap. Let me know how you get on with the bands.

@XenniallMama I've read that symptoms can definitely come and go. Glad your scan went well too 😊.

I've got an early one tomorrow morning when I'll be 6+6...so nervous!

leftitlate37 · 26/09/2020 19:31

ah good luck @Rumples! let us know how it goes!!
congrats @XenniallMama thats exciting and glad scan went well! sorry u r feeling queasy :s sounds totally normal though! im definitely bordering on queasy but trying to focus on other stuff whihc is working now but if gets worse it wont! im 37 and also 1st pregnancy - so much to learn and feelings i wasnt anticipating....feel so anxious!!

3andout · 26/09/2020 20:39

Hi all,
Congratulations!

I'm pulling up a tentative seat, if that's OK? Just got a bfp, edd would be 1st June, but both dd's were a little on the early side, 37 and 36 weeks.

Rumples · 27/09/2020 09:49

I've had my scan but they only seen a yolk sac and no baby so I don't think it's good news at all. I'm pretty sure of my dates so I know I should be 6+6 and you should definitely see a fetal pole then.

They said to wait 2 weeks and re-scan Sad.

NRDoss · 27/09/2020 12:33

Hi all, hope I can join this thread Smile

I'm 7+5 today, and according to the calculator, I should be due 12th May. This will be my first - had a mmc in May, so I'm always on high alert.

How's everybody doing ? Nausea has really started to kick in, with not actual puking (thank god!) but brushing teeth has been so hard these few weeks. Minty smell is triggering nausea for me (actually pretty much everything).

Anybody else having a loss of appetite? unless I'm given a plate of food, I have no motivation or feeling to actually eat something.

Chance2020 · 27/09/2020 12:52

@Rumples
I hope it goes well for you!
A yolk sac is a good sign though, and if you said you ovulated late, maybe that could have a factor?
Good Luck though and keep us updated.
How are you feeling in general? Still feeling ill?

Chance2020 · 27/09/2020 12:56

@NRDoss
I'm slightly ahead of you 8+3
I had a MMC in Feb & conceived again in August so it is a huge worry wondering if theres anything growing in there! I didn't find out until the 12w scan!
Feeling Nauseous and Sore boobs, slow digestive system 🤦🏻‍♀️ & tired pretty much all the time!
I was STARVING at the start, but that's stopped now but I'm still eating quite a bit to stop me feeling sick! Just not as much food when I do eat now, can't stomach alot!

Cafeaulait27 · 27/09/2020 15:09

@XenniallMama congrats on your pregnancy and your scan! I believe it’s normal for symptoms to come and go, mine certainly do. Some days I’m passing out from exhaustion from the early afternoon onwards and waking up all night, and other days I feel normal xx

Cafeaulait27 · 27/09/2020 15:10

@Rumples sorry to hear that about your scan. Hope things go better in 2 weeks when they scan you again. Hugs xxxx

Cafeaulait27 · 27/09/2020 15:16

This is a bit TMI but: Whenever I have sex (and after my internal scan) I get brown discharge for a few days. Last night, the day after some sex I got a light brown lump about 5mm long which was scarily shrimp/bean shaped. I looked at it for Ages and I was worried it was the baby, but I think more likely it was just some thick discharge. What do you guys think?

I haven’t had any red blood, just the light brown discharge and today no brown discharge at all. Am I just worrying about nothing? It would be red right? I didn’t get any cramping either xx

Chance2020 · 27/09/2020 18:58

@Cafeaulait27
How many weeks are you now?
I would speak to your doctor/midwife about it! Just to get their opinion xx

Cafeaulait27 · 27/09/2020 19:12

@Chance2020 well I thought I was 7 weeks, but after my early scan they advised I was at the later end of 5 weeks as there was a heart beat but measurements only 2.5mm, so that puts me at 6 weeks now.

I have my booking appointment on Thursday, the midwife is coming to our house. Maybe I should mention it then?

Thank you xx
