Mrs - hope the appt today is better than yesterday (grumpy persons should not be allowed to work in hospitals!)

Honey - wow is it really happy due date to you, well, be one of those few and get going having bubs right now, but if not, can you wait til Monday as I am going away for the weekend and would not want to miss your big announcement!!!!!

Well baby finally did more convincing moves last night, I got movement happening, yippy!

And this new format will take some getting used to

Bodkin · 26/10/2007 12:10

Yes, the new look has just freaked me out too - I wonder how many MNers just went and changed it straight back to the old look!

Mrs - shame your sonographer had not attended charm school! How would you be able to see wispy hair though Confused was it a 4D scan or can you really see that much detail at 28 weeks? Anyway, sounds like your bub is in a good position - let's hope he/she stays that way! I didn't see that comment about the bin liner and bucket, but it did make me LOL when you said it!

Honey - sorry to hear your efforts were fruitless last night - always nice to have a thai green curry though
[Snigger] at your fart story - reminded me of that episode of the Young Ones where Vivian thinks he's preggers and it turns out to just be a ginormous guff~!

Great to hear you've got some movement going on Rainbow! Well on your way now!

Greedy - your poor DD1 - tonsilitis is evil! Glad the ABs are kicking in though. Eternity Ring eh? What's all this then - I thought you had got a new extension instead!

Firsty - bless you for being broody already! Aren't they utterly divine when they are asleep though! Poor you having to go back to work so soon But it will be lovely for your mum to get to spend some time with Ty - is he her first grandchild?

Hi there Readysteady xxx

Seaside - sorry if I have offended you with my slur on dog-owners Obviously I meant to say some dog owners

Chooster - have you got on any further with attempting a bottle? I've tried giving her a few sucks after her last feed of the day, and although she seems quite keen to chew on the teat, as soon as some milk comes out she looks at me in disgust! I only want her to just get used to the concept, rather than guzzling oz and oz of milk, so if I can just get her used to having a few slurps, that's fine. Plus DD1 is desperate to have a go at feeding her!

More visitors now - I've got hoards of ILs here now, so am bit knackered!

Afternoon ladies consultant appointment went well this morning. Consultant was a bit miffed that the sonographer had not done a report for her but she satisfied my need for science by plotting the measurements on a graph for me also she said baby was head down and body to the left not right but I guess it could have moved since yesterday.

Honeyapple ? sorry all your efforts were in vain! EDD is tomorrow isn?t it?

Rainbowdays ? enjoy those kicks!!

Bodkin ? no, just normal scan so I don?t know how she saw hair, almost got over the fact that I didn?t but they had better show me my baby?s face at 32 weeks

Greedy ? what?s this about an eternity ring? I think you should change your name to Greedyfordiamonds

Firsty ? LOL at the crotch less knickers comment!! I have changed the format of my messages so that it is in the new style but new messages first and also so that it retains threads for 7 days instead of 3, which would suit me much better. Keep us posted on your op, I bet you just want it out of the way.

DH and I have made a decision about Christmas chances are we?ll be here and so we are going to tell his folks and SIL tonight that we would like to host. We usually do and it is normally fun. I normally do do a lot of work but I don?t have to do quite so much and I will be off the week before plus it means I am at home, don?t have to drive anywhere, have my own bed and things and can sneak off if I get tired and they get drunk. Well see what is said but I?ve made up my mind ? going nowhere!

DH has just been asked to be godfather at a friend?s baby?s christening in 2 weeks ? what the hell can I wear? I don?t really feel I can wear either of my black dresses ? BBDs instead of LBDs these days!

MrsMcSpooky · 26/10/2007 16:30

Oh meant to say ? consultants told me this morning that I need to have an appointment with anesthetics so that they are aware of me and my blood issues and also, I?ll have to see them when I come into the labour ward ? it?s going to be my ex isn?t it?! He?s great and we are friends but there is still something there for both of us so we don?t catch up much, I?d be mortified if he saw me in labour!

honeyapple · 26/10/2007 17:18

Hiya...

Still pregnant!

Mrs- cant remember whether my due date is today or tommorrow?? Will have to go check my notes....it says 27th! But I thought it was 26th! Whoops...
Glad to hear you had good info from your consultant... what's this about an ex... he works at the hospital? Did we know about this already? SOunds very tricky! Not sure about seeing hair on a scan...

Rainbowdays- ooh lovely first kicks, how exciting .

Have convinced my mum to have DC for another night, and then we will go and pick them up from her... saves her driving here and back!

Think I need to go fart again...

Chooster · 26/10/2007 19:32

Just popped on for a quick 'hello'! and have been just as confused as the rest of you - and I work in IT - well atleast I think I used to - its all so so so long ago

Very glad you got more info today Mrs - its crap when you get a misery at a scan, I think they forget that what is just a job to them means so much to the parents. So whats this about an ex????? Sounds intriguing.

Bodders, Theo is exactly the same as Isla - he rolls the teat round in his mouth but if any milk goes in he just lets it drbble out and frowns at me as if to say "Oh no no no mummy, I want what I'm used to thanks very much". I'll keep trying though... My HV suggested the breastflow bottles from mothercare. I've yet to try it but I'll let you know how I get on.

Still no baby eh Honeyapple!!!! I'll keep checking in

Aaaarrrgh, run out of time as am going out tonight and will be late soon. Hi to everyone else

iampgatlast · 26/10/2007 19:44

higirls

i am hating this new set up!!!soo confusing will have to have a mess around and get things back to normal - at first i thought it was my crappy bodged pc but then i read honeys post so know its not me

ok so i am not going to do a mammoth catch up post that was due two days ago i will just type what i can remember and hope you dont think im ignoring you if i dont mention you - pregnancy brain has certainly kicked in now!

mrs - glad all was well with baby shame about the snotty sonographer tho at my 20 week scan i got quite annoyed with the sonographer too - she had me up and down 3 times drinking more water then emptying my bladder then more water and each time i laid back on the bed to be scanned she literally pulled down my trousers and needless to say ALL was revealed! even dp picked up on it - he says she fancied me lol oh and she gave us extra pics too. i think its just bad luck to have the buggy in the house isnt it? i am ordering all my baby bits online this week so i will have them stored in the spare room. we are saving the buggy for a few more weeks though. shame about the house still not sold [sold] its like ttc the longer it doesnt happen you just assume it wont until bingo you got your bfp - so try and stay positive hun. sorry about your kitty too .
oh and as for bumps - mine is rock solid too and my weight hasnt gone anywhere else except my belly - i still have defined hips but have managed to go up 12 pounds in weight. as for the dry spell in the bedroom department we are going through it too - we are both so tired to do anything so just settle for a cuddle. i am starting to miss it a bit now though and need a good seeing too

chooster - hope you had a nice break. and i have seen your hair it looks fab!! love the fringe!

honey - good on you for going for it last night shame none of your attempts worked have you got an induction date incase it doesnt happen? hope you had a nice day

greedy - sorry your household has got the lurgies and poor kiki having tonsilitis - i used to suffer with that when i was little and often lost my voice too. i hope you all get better soon xx

firstar - 3 months off and you are going back to work already, that must be tough but atleast you have got someone you know and trust looking after ty so he is in safe hands which must give you some comfort. cant believe you want another one already - but its reassuring to know that however traumatic labour can be it doesnt put you off for life and is certainly worth while.

bodkin - hiya!! cant remember what i was going to say to you - grrrr!!! i hope you are well and isla is doing fine. xx

rainbowdays - its lovely to hear you can feel little one moving around now it must make you feel a lot more reassured and comforted. sorry you are away from your family for so long are you an undercover agent...visiting lots of places - not revealing what you do...very mission impossible! only joking!

seaside - hello!!! hows bump growing?? are you still doing yoga? i have ruled out now buying any of the stokke ranges - i have come to the conclusion its all too much money. i hope you are doing well and "blooming"

thats about all i can remember today folks! hellos to anyone i have missed

i had my 4d scan on saturday - it was amazing!! got a dvd of baby oscar and some amazing pictures which i will put on my profile in a bit if anyone fancies a peek! the last two scans i have had he has had his feet up by his head and at my 20 week scan he was doing summersaults and the scan i just had he was tickling his toes - soo cute! slightly worrying though as if they are su[pposed to be getting into position for birth - he is far from it!!
dp was rubbing my belly quite fast and firmly the other day as that makes oscar come more to the surface if that makes sense and he sticks his bum out to be rubbed!

we are still sleeping on the floor but as of sunday we shall have a finished bedroom then dp will be knocking the walls out downstairs and crashing on with that quite literally!!

and as for work i finish on friday cannot wait!! i am taking all holiday owed and full maternity. i have been ill constantly with the "flu" which turns out to be an allergy that some women develop in pregnancy and lately had severe back ache where i cant even move. work have switched my department and there is one woman that i just collide with and we do not see eye to eye so i am leaving for good they just wont know it yet until my 12 months maternity is up.

anyway im going to love and leave you all - glad im a bit more up to date and back chatting with you all xxxxxxxx

p.s dont forget my pics on profile

iampgatlast · 26/10/2007 19:53

ok pics uploaded and new mumsnet setup GONE!!

greedygreedyguzzler · 26/10/2007 20:03

honeyapple - happy due date to you, happy due date to you, happy due date dear ho-ney, happy due date to you!! sorry.....i know its naff singing to you, but i have done it to everyone who was decent enough to make it to their due date so i didnt want you to be left out!!!

mrs - my eternity ring is pink sapphires not diamonds! and i havent ACTUALLY got it yet, but dh told me when i was in the midst of a VERY painful contraction that he had decided to get me one despite not having the money!!! he said he had somehting to tell me to try and take my mind off the pain and at first i felt like hitting him until i heard what he said!!!........not sure if he really meant it or not or just said it on the spur of the moment to try and stop me from screaming during my contractions!!! anyway! i am NOT letting him forget it now and we have been up to hatton gardens already (last week before everyone got sick!!). i have the same christening dilema too!!!! my dh is godfather in 2 weeks and i am too fat to fit into anything!!! looks like we will both be wearing maternity clothes!!

fettle - i keep meaning to tell you that EVERYONE says what a nice name marcy is and keeps asking me where we got it from!!!.........what do i say? i feel weird saying " this woman from the internet who i have never actually met, but feel strangely linked to, suggested it!!" how you doing anyway? no more signs of any depression i hope. i lost it this morning with dd1............shouldn't really cos i know she isnt well, but she is well enough now to just be tired and grumpy and naughty..............so she has been driving me mad all day!!!! marcy has slept all daydespite me doing everything to wake her up (including stripping her off and wiping her down with wet cotton wool and then blowing cold air on her!!!......how wicked am i hey?!!!) i was just desperate for her to wake up so i might get more sleep tonight........................yeah right!!

hello eveyone else.........chooster....how dare you go out and have a social life!!!

greedygreedyguzzler · 26/10/2007 20:07

WOW! iampg! those pictures are FAB!!! i have never seen any that good! i even got dh to come and have a look and i NEVER let him look at MN!!! little oscar seems so real now!!!

ReadySteadyTrickOrTreat · 26/10/2007 20:54

Thanks for your message on the temp thread Fetts
MrsMc - sorry about the sonographer, what a cow!

evening all - we really are all against change aren't we?!!! So who's not actually changed it back to how it should be?!

Iampg - fantastic pictures!!! So very very cute!

Greedy - thank goodness it was a one-off bad day - seem to be doing ok at the moment. Just tired and a bit grumpy from time to time, but nothing too bad. Had a great week though, as DH has had the week off as it's DD's half-term. not looking forward to Monday especially with the clock change on Sunday!!! I'm glad that everyone loves the name Marcy - I quite like it too!!! You make sure that DH doesn't forget about the eternity ring - how very lovely of him to use that as a contraction diversion!!! hope he doesn't think you'd forget he said it due to all the gas and air!!!

Mrs - glad the appointment went well today. When's your next scan? Glad you're getting Christmas plans all sorted - make sure you get lots of help in the preparations and on the day

Chooster - hope you have a good night - can't imagine ever having a night out at the mo.

Chooster and Bodders, interesting what you say about the bottles - are you using formula of EBM? I can't be bothered to express at the moment, so if we start with a bottle it will be formula and I'm worried he won't like it. Although don't think he's liking my breast milk today - screams in pain after feeding until he falls asleep - poor little lamb. But then we had to give DD calpol again this evening due to a mild temperature, so he may be feeling pretty rough with this cold that DD has given him (I tried so hard not to let her kiss him, but she does it every 5 mins, so it's pretty hard to stop and I don't want to discourage her love of him - no idea how you are managing to keep poor Kiki away from Marcy, Greedy!)

Honey - sorry it's not happening for you yet - but then now you say that tomorrow is your due date, maybe that will be the day! Enjoy another child-free evening!!

Rainbowy - glad you're getting some good movements now - very reassuring. Hope you have a good weekend in Bristol! Must be so hard being away from your family. Still very intrigued about your job, but my e-mail is playing up at the moment and not sending, so i'll have to remain in suspense!

Big waves to everyone else - must try and get some sleep - we had an ok-ish night last night. Toby fed at 10.30, then woke at 2, but as he always wakes at 2, I decided to offer him a dummy (!!!) and he slept til 3.30am when I fed him, but then he woke every hour after that until 7am when he woke properaly! Didn't want feeding each time and settled after a quick cuddle, but not ideal! See what happens tonight......

Ok - I have been trying to catch up - but apologies to anyone/anything I get wrong You have all been so chatty and busy - so much to read!

Bodders ? don?t worry you haven?t offended me ? my dogs do awful embarrassing things all the time and I know most non doggie types must despair I am usually apologising for them or trying to look calm while they chase/attack/bark at someone else?s dog! But I am a doggie person and their unconditional love makes up for their bad behaviour ? most of the time!! Hope all your visitors aren?t too exhausting. I know where we live means everyone wants to come and stay ? which is lovely ? but you begin to feel like a B&B! Except they all seem to want you to entertain them all day too and people forget that you have an everyday life ? not a permanent holiday ? grrr!

Firsty ? lovely to "see" you ? can't believe you are already through your three months and going back to work I think the quick broodiness is a definite chemical thing from what I have heard - natures way of making you want more babies!!

Honey ?Ohhh - close now! I cannot believe you are at your due date already ? I so remember you getting your BFP. Very impressed at your ideal mummy status ? pyramid building and sand stealing Yes ? do post a pic of the pyramid we want to see!! ;) I am right there with you on the farting ? My DH thinks it is hysterical ? best one I did was in middle of a very quiet bookshop in Paris Luckily they are mostly non smelly ? just noisy. I often find myself running to loo just to fart ? arghh ? I am sure bub is squeezing my bowels!

Fettle ? Hope Toby?s jaundice is getting better Poor lad with the painful heel prick. How cool about your DD?s swimming though Hopefully you are tucked in for a good nights sleep tonight!

Iampg ? OMG ? amazing photos ? I really want to have another scan now! Hope the bedroom is finished- bet you are looking forward to a good sleep off the floor. We are back in the middle of building work ? plaster dust everywhere ? arghhh! Is it really bad luck to have the buggy in the house??? What do you do ? leave it in the garage??
Yep ? I am still going to yoga ? regular classes and one special preg class per week too ? It is really good and certainly helps my back

Mrs and greedy ? sympathising with the christening outfit dilemma ? I have a wedding to go to in Dec ? will be 34 weeks pg- GREAT!!

Mrs ? You (and Ready) are so good with your seasonal name changes ? I am so lazy and cannot be bothered to figure out how to do it!! Good news about scan and consultant appt ? at least all is going well ? I have to say it feels weird now not having another scan ? I might cave in and book one?? I would love to know what position he is in and that all is OK. OK ? I am also about DH?s poo fest _ I would have crucified my DH for that!! Well done with all your other threads ? I am following them intently for tips. We are heading up to London next week for concentrated shopping spree ? hopefully we will get most of what we need ? or at least make decisions and order on line. Hopefully the room will be ready soon to start putting things in! Still can?t believe I am now 6 months preg

Chooster ? Glad Theo is doing well and injections were all OK. Glad your trip was good LOL about christening candle. I help out serving at my church and there is always a funny candle incident!! Glad you said that about travelling with just one - we have been told this by lots of friends also and are hoping to make quite few trips next year fingers crossed.

Rainbowdays ? so glad you are getting some reassuring movements ? yes we are all so intrigued about what you do!! ? Must be hard to be ?on the road? for so long though

Greedy ? so sorry about Kiki?s tonsils - I swear by this honey I buy ? you can get it in big tescos etc ? with propolis in it - use it for honey and lemon drink and it really soothes the throat and boosts immunity ? amazing. I did not get tonsillitis much when I was little but was plagued by it as a teenager ? eventually I had three bouts back-to-back and ended up with glandular fever ? nightmare Hope all the colds and lurgies are soon banished. I have to admit I am with you on the BF issue - sorry before everyone shouts at me ? I am going to give it my best try but I have just never felt ?comfortable? about it. I am open to making a complete uturn ? so hopefully that will happen I honestly think the most important thing is being happy and comfortable with it and unstressed. As that must be best for baby. BTW any more pics of Marcy?? So glad you are loving the name ? I think it is fab ? Anyone got any ideas of for me??! BTW ? very of eternity ring!!

Ready ? so lovely to see you ? must lurk and catch up on where you are at. I will email you too as have a little dilemma I need your input on??!! (I am being mysterious like rainbow too!)

All is well with me ?Bump has definitely popped out ? strangers are noticing now and asking when due etc I love it. Sometime my bump feels hard and itchy/like it is stretching and other time it is quite soft?? I have def put on a bit of weight all around hips and torso and even legs ? but having been a weedy stick insect most of my life I am quite enjoying it! We had a fab holiday ? lots of walking and sightseeing/galleries/museums ?so tired feet and legs ? but we had some sun and loads of lovely food and I felt fine and energetic. We visited my parents in South of France for part of the trip and it was lovely for them to feel him kick etc. One worrying development is that we jokingly referred to bub as ?Dave? (when talking about names ? DH said he was getting overwhelmed by all the new trendy/cool names and why couldn?t we just go for something simple like ?Dave?) so now it has stuck and everyone is referring to the bump as Dave ? arghhh

I had quite a lot of hip/sciatic pain while away ? but hard hotel beds did not help Luckily I went straight to my cranio sacral therapist and she has really helped ? interestingly she said one side of my pelvis was not opening/stretching as much as the other side ? hence why I had been feeling most of Dave?s kicks and movements on one side and not the other ? cos one side was more roomy ? anyway after one session I am now feeling kicks on both sides!

I have come back to a double whammy of AN info ? after hearing nothing I am now booked in for local AN classes AND NCT course ? oh well ? will see how it goes I guess ?seems like November will be one long month of Antenatal classes! Also had a letter from HV she wants to meet me next week ? quake this is all getting very serious and real now!

LOL about the new setup ? I changed it too ? straight away ? we are all such creatures of habit
OK - will go now as am drooping and you have all dozed off reading this. It is nice to be back and catch up on everyone's news etc. I do wish we all lived closer for a meet up.

(special labour vibes going out to honey my BF is due any day now too so maybe you will pop on the same day )

Night night everyone - sleep tight

honeyapple · 27/10/2007 10:05

Morning . Woke up in the night with some cramps which were quite sore, but then they went again... getting a bit bored with all this stop start nonsense!

Seaside and Iampg- lovely long posts. Very impressed, I never manage those!

Seaside- holiday sounds fab. Travelling with kids is no problem IMO. My DS was a real globe trotter when he was little (I used to work for a travel company). I guess you just need to be a little bit more organised and a lot more laid back about routines etc... I think kids will be happy wherever they are, so long as they are with those that love them.
BTW I like the name Dave! It's cool (in a totally uncool way )

Iampg- amazing pictures of Oscar. No, I dont have a date booked for induction. Hoping to avoid that at all costs. Anyway, they cant make you be induced, they only suggest it... and I SO want to have this baby at home with as little intervention as possible. I am going to make an appointment with MW for next week if I havent had baby, and she will do a sweep to try and get it going.

Fettle and Greedy- hope you had better nights with your LOs. I am definitely NOT looking forward to that bit of having a wee one.

Hi firsty, rainbowdays, chooster, bodders, mrs and ready xx Hope i didnt forget anyone.

Anyone heard from beansprout?

Going to pick up DC in an hour or so, have missed them! DP and I dug out the video camera last night and cried with laughter watching old footage. Kids are great .
He filmed my tummy wiggling about alien style. I suggested he film the birth but he looked a bit !

honeybobbingapple · 27/10/2007 10:10

hello again, just halloweening my name xx

Bloodkin · 27/10/2007 11:33

Hi, just hallowweening my name too. no time to post much but Seaside, I LOVE the name Dave too! Honeyapple will back me up on this - there is a great kids book called Dogger and the boy in it is called Dave, so i have always liked it from that. You are spot on with what you say about visitors, and especially being self-employed, they seem to think we don't have any work to do when they come!

sorry will catch up with everyone else after the weekend!

MrsMcSpooky · 27/10/2007 12:43

Hey ladies my friend had a 9 pound baby girl this morning, Amelie not the one I told you was getting induced on 19th I actually got that wrong ? she is being induced on 12/11 ? so after that one, I am next of my RL friends too! H! scary!

Honeyapple ? I have a note in my diary from way back that your EDD was today but hey, it?s just a line in the sand isn?t it? an ex from uni days is a Dr at my hospital, he?s been away in NZ for a couple of years but we?ve been in touch but haven?t actually seen each other in about 10 years, after our brief flings through Uni we were great mates ? sounds so vain but labour is not the time for a reunion is it! how are you feeling today

Chooster LOL at your IT confusion confession hope you get some teat joy soon.

Iampg ? poor you at your scan, how embarrassing and so unnecessary. My DH did comment that I could do with a trim after my scan and since then keeps making lawnmower sounds at me ? cheeky got I now have a ton of baby things in the house as my small franchise of Boots arrived last night you should see all the pain reducing kit I have hopefully I won?t need it all but I am happier having it in! thanks for all your kind words ? I know I?ll just have to have faith that the house will sell. Sounds like you are looking very trim I am up to 16 pounds on now but most of it is on my belly, boobs and if I am honest, my upper thighs look a chubbier too ? hey ho! LOL at your horny confession! LOL at Oscar coming to the surface to be rubbed I am so that you?ll be on mat leave on Friday!! I still have 8 full weeks!! Sorry you have not been well I can empathise on the backache though. OMG those photos are INCREDIBLE you can really see all his features and you now know exactly what he is going to look like ? amazing the positions they get themselves into isn?t it?! What?s your EDD again?

Greedy LOL at the EDD song! I joined in too wow! the ring sounds amazing ? and so trendy, my jeweler friend told me that that is THE thing to do at the mo, pink sapphires for a girl, blue for a boy ? are you going to show us a pic when you get it? Go on! I am in love with the wrap ruffle dress on the Isabella Oliver site, wrap dresses are fab in my opinion, might even get away with it post baby as it might not be too obviously maternity wear. Am trying to get a 2nd hand one as think £90 is a bit steep for one outing but then again?. I have a few functions around Christmas and there is always the next pregnancy and the one after that and? LOL at you telling people about Marcy?s name

Hey Ready how are you hon? You ok?

Hey Firsty MIL seemed happy with the Christmas plan ? bet we sell the house now! I know what you mean; I can?t believe that I?ll be 29 weeks in a couple of days. My sisters and nephews are coming up next weekend and I am so excited when they booked it months ago I remembered thinking I?d be 30 weeks and it was so far off and now it?s nearly here ? DN1 will be 4 a couple of days after they go so we are going to have an early b?day tea he LOVES baking! Also looking forward to showing them all my bump, I was only 13 weeks when I last saw them all. LBD = little black dress, BBD = big black dress am really hoping not to need an anesthetist when I am in labour ? I really want to try to do it drug free but we?ll just have to see! have a great weekend
Ohh out of time, friend here to go to lunch, more later

MrsMcSpooky · 27/10/2007 17:21

Hello back again, been out for lunch and now have a Christmas cake in the oven ? phew thought I deserved a chat break

Fettle ? not changed it back but have set it up to see the last message first glad you are feeling happier, you do have a lot on your plate so cut yourself some slack next scan is at 32 weeks so 22/11 sorry to hear both DC are under the weather

Rainbow ? keep forgetting to email and now I don?t know how many pages back your email address is

Seaside re the B&B feeling, that?s what I am worried about when we get to Spain ? I know my folks found that hard as when people do come on holiday they expect you to be out with them but you have to work! LOL at the fart in the book shop I don?t know about this buggy in the house thing ? let?s face it, what will be will be and it is worse luck for the baby to arrive with no stuff!! Glad to hear the yoga is going well ? must do something ! Oh wedding at 34 weeks is a toughie ? have a look at Isabella Oliver ? the dresses are almost sexy! I can understand what you are saying about wanting another peak at your baby, totally keep well agree with your thoughts on the BF point by the way, if its not for you then why make yourself and your baby miserable, the early days are so precious, it would be such a shame to waste them I like being pregnant too I have to say glad you had a good holiday and at the bump being called Dave!

Honeyapple what a shame those twinges went away again! My friend who gave birth today avoided induction with reflexology ? worth a go?! Bet you go into labour as soon as your kids get home!

Bloodkin ? love it!

Hope kids don?t decide to trick or treat tonight as I have no sweets!!

fettleandbabyfettle · 27/10/2007 20:31

Hey all - got to go feed Toby, but just wanted to say - snap Mrs - well not exactly, but I've got my Christmas puddings cooking away as I type!!!

Honey - hope you are hanging in there being positive!

Not looking forward to halloween here - last year apparently all the "youths" of the town threw eggs and flour at the houses, or vandilised cars etc of anyone who wouldn't give them proper treats (by which I think they mean monetary variety!). sounds a nice area, I live in doesn't it!!!

Don't forget the clocks tonight ladies - although I thought they went the other way than they do! help DD will be up at 5.30am!!!

Morning

Well I am officially overdue now . Not totally surprised, but funny to think of you gals who had your babies already by now. (I also had had my DS for 10 days already by this stage).

Fettle- we had some kids knocking on the door doing trick or treat last night! DP told them to come back on wednesday... cheeky blighters! We usually get quite a good crowd of little ones dressing up around here. I take my DC up our road and let them knock on doors we know, or those with obvious pumpkins etc in windows. The kids do love it. Last year I did some games as well... so I expect they will be expecting the same whether there is a baby here or not.

Mrs and Fettle- very impressed with your xmas baking. I used to do the xmas cake, but then couldnt be arsed becuase no one actually ate the blooming thing! All that effort of feeding it booze for weeks... nope, not this year! Might do mince pies though.

DD has been thinking about her bday party (not till beginning of december)... and has decided on a pyjama party (NOT a sleepover)... and had us all in hysterics with the games she was coming up with.
ie brushing your teeth blindfolded...

speak soon
