Hi everyone,
Hope you don’t mind me jumping in. Looking for some advice please...
I went for an early scan at 9 weeks + 3 and saw the heartbeat and baby was measuring fine. I then started bleeding last night at 10 weeks. There was a little in my pyjamas at 1am I then called the hospital and was told to wear a pad and if I soaked through within the hour or had pains to go down. At 5am I had bled much more in pad and when I had went to the toilet twice there was a lot in toilet. Since then until now there was nothing until I wiped. About an hour ago I wiped and a stringy long clot was there and since then nothing. Does anybody have any advice or anybody been through something similar? I am trying to stay calm but finding it difficult as I had a blighted ovum in April this year. I am booked in for a scan tomorrow morning.

@Phie04 my midwife said my OH could attend. That was 4 weeks ago at my booking appt so I might call the antenatal clinic and ask (I have my 12 week on Thursday)

@Twinny311088 I had spotting and I phoned 111 because it was late and they told me it was a threatened miscarriage but it definitely was not that at all, they just didn't know what to tell me, I had a scan the Monday after and everything was okay, but in all honesty there's not much you can do because it's one of them things that needs to be waited out to see if it progresses further a clot isn't a good sign but at the same time it can be nothing! Just try not to worry about it I know that is hard trust me I know but it'll make it worse worrying about it! All you can do is wait for your scan tomorrow! I'm sorry you're going through this

Hi, just wondering what to expect at my early pregnancy scan tomorrow? This is my first pregnancy and I'm 10-11 weeks appox. Thanks for any advice :)

I’m due 6th March with my first child after trying with much stress for almost two years. my 12 week scan is next week on 27th August! Fingers crossed everything is still ok! X I’ve had two scans privately since I found out I was pregnant and junior appears to be good 👍🏾

@Twinny311088 sorry for what you're going through. Seeing as you have a scan booked for tomorrow there isn't much you can do apart from keep busy till then. I had bleeding at 6 and 7 weeks and baby seemed fine although measuring small, it may be nothing but at least you don't have long to wait to find out x

I've been really quiet on here just keeping my head down and trying to get to 12 week scan as I'm so anxious due to my MMC in February.
I'm 10 +5 and caved in and had a private scan yesterday and found out I'm having twins!!
Think I'm still in shock I'll have 3 under 2 but I'm just pleased That everything looked ok and the heartbeats were strong xx

I'm 9+4 today and just over 3 weeks from my first scan/seeing the baby for the first time. Keeping my fingers crossed all is OK when I get there.

I know a lot of ladies on here have gone through this, but I had some brown spotting when I wiped last night which has scared me. Have had a couple niggling pains in my tummy unlike the cramping I normally get. I can see the previous advice about pads etc. But can I ask who the best person to call is for personal advice- the EPU, GP, the midwife clinic that I'm due to go to my booking app at?? (Booking not for another week and scan 3 weeks away) I'd love to get a reassurance scan cos I'll be climbing the walls for the next three weeks. Have felt fine and healthy for weeks now (lots of symptoms), I'm worrying I jinxed it by telling OH family on friday.

@GreysLove I had the same thing! I phoned my gp and they got a triage nurse to phone me and i got a scan that day but everything was okay

@Dipsy77 oh my goodness, you must be the first mum having twins on out thread, congratulations. Do you have twins in the family?

Oh I'm so sorry, it's definitely makes you anxious, it could be nothing to worry about. I hope you are ok, if you need to chat just message me. I had spotting on and off for a week. Seems to have eased now.

I contacted my gp and they referred me to epu. I have my appointment on Saturday, midwife booking in is tomorrow x

@GreysLove i would call your gp and maybe exaggerate a little - tell them your spotting with cramping- they should refer you to the epu directly. A+e and epu were useless for me and kept telling me to sit tight

Anyone else suffering with rhinitis? it's bloody awful, hope it doesn't last the entire pregnancy!

@c24680 me!! And my glands all swell up. Today, my teeth hurt and I’ve not had a nose bleed! Hurrah!!!

@Sussexbysea so glad I'm not alone and there was me worrying about not having nausea, I'm on week 5 of this now and it's awful.

I've had sore gums as well, I suffered with my teeth and gums with my DD I'm hoping to get away with it this time 😳

@Sussexbysea ohhhh is that what that is?!? My glands were up the other day and they were so painful even on my right shoulder blade and left cheek

@c24680 thanks for diagnosing me 😂 I've had a cough and blocked nose and keep sneezing I wondered what it was 😂😂 searched it and bam makes sense now

I wouldn't of known if I hadn't mentioned it at my booking appointment and my midwife explained what it was! I'm on week 5 of it now :(

Week 12 of pregnancy, I'm hoping it's a first trimester thing but looking online some people have it throughout
