@Nazz10 I wonder if it's a busy time with lots of lockdown babies.

I've found a number for the community team so I'm calling them tomorrow, if that fails I'll call the hospital and tell them I'm worried I'll miss the scan booking. The 12 week scan has quite a specific date range to be done for the testing if I recall.

No coffee today 😭😭😭😭 but felt much less sick only a tiny bit nauseous this morning. Looks like I'm off coffee for the foreseeable. That's going to be a give away at work tomorrow, I never turn down a coffee!

BuckleUp · 17/08/2020 05:04

I splurged yesterday and bought a CB weeks test hoping to see that 3+ weeks.. just tested and there it is! I'm 6 weeks today so I just wanted the reassurance that the HCG level was in the right ball park 😆

Morning ladies!
I’ve been so worried the past few days because other than constant bloat and breast/nipple soreness, my nausea etc had basically gone.
Ohhhh how I was wrong. Woken up this morning and I feel AWFUL with nausea. I’m also burning up too and I have that weak feeling in my tummy where (sorry for the tmi), I don’t know if I’m going to poop myself or throw up.
Im glad it’s come back but my god I haven’t missed it😢

LouJ85 · 17/08/2020 07:31

@Chicken123

I feel your pain. I woke up about 45 mins ago with the same feeling. I've taken one of my cyclizine tablets and it's slowly easing off.
It's a dreadful feeling isn't it. I'm only 5 weeks - could cry at another god knows how many weeks/months of feeling this roughSad

mooooks · 17/08/2020 07:59

Hi all, I'm usually a stalker but after 21 months ttc we got our BFP yesterday for number 2!

It's early days but looking forward to getting to know you all x

Chicken123 · 17/08/2020 08:23

@LouJ85
I just had half a digestive and that seemed to ease it and just been sipping water.
Oh are you? I’m 5wks+5 today. I hope this is all it is, I couldn’t cope with anything more severe than this for however long😢 x

MrsxRocky · 17/08/2020 09:28

Anyone else go no symptoms at all? My third pregnancy and feels different.
My first 2 I felt like I was under weather from the off but this one, nothing.
Am 5 weeks tomorrow so still very early I know.
But I definitely remember feeling like a bag of crap straight away previous.

LouJ85 · 17/08/2020 09:34

@Chicken123 Me too, I can't cope if it gets worse. And this is with anti nausea meds too. Sad

FoxtrotOscarPoppet · 17/08/2020 09:39

Hi @mooooks. Welcome and congratulations.

A new thing has made me nauseous this morning - my dog. She’s not smelly at all normally but she smells SO strong today that it’s making me gag. She’s my baby and she can’t understand why I don’t want her sitting on me this morning. I had to hold my breath earlier when I gave her a cuddle. 🥺

Sals27 · 17/08/2020 09:58

I've just sorted out my appointments, I've got my booking in at 11+5 and my scan the next day at 11+6.

My booking in is face to face in the surgery which surprised me as I expected over the phone. Anyone else got face to face?

SVC11 · 17/08/2020 09:59

@MrsxRocky hiya meee.. I have ish sensitive boobs and I'm more tired than usual but no real symptoms yet. Keep taking pg tests to make sure my hcg is still high and it is... Otherwise I would think everything was normal!

MrsxRocky · 17/08/2020 10:10

@SVC11 glad not just me. I did have period type feelings a lot on the days I was due on so was convinced it would happen but even they have gone.

LouJ85 · 17/08/2020 10:20

@MrsxRocky
I have a 14 year old and I had barely any symptoms with her apart from quite severe acid reflux in the final month or so. This time round I feel sick as a dog and I'm only 5 weeks. Not sure if age is a factor for me - I was 21 when I had my daughter and I'm 35 now. But either way this is definitely not how I felt first time around!

BuckleUp · 17/08/2020 10:23

@Sals27 my booking in appointment at 7+2 is face-to-face too. I've been told they might do some over the phone in the carpark though to limit contact!

LuckyFlash · 17/08/2020 10:44

@BuckleUp the thought of having an appointment in a car park made me lol. Still waiting to hear back from the midwife to book mine in.

Very few symptoms for me too. Boobs are a bit tender on and off and I’ve been tired this weekend but might just be because I had to get up at 4.30 on Friday. The only real thing I’ve noticed is not being able to stomach my morning cuppa tea. No bad thing I guess!

SVC11 · 17/08/2020 11:27

@Sals27 my booking appointment will be at 5 + 5 which seems early but I guess they want to get it done as they have the space.
Mine is also face to face but I can't take my partner x

BFP2020 · 17/08/2020 11:44

Hi All,

Can I join you too was afraid to join but got my 2-3 on the digital yesterday and 5 weeks tomorrow so feel a bit more comfortable to join. I have felt the last 2 days that I had a light hangover. Going to GP tomorrow for first app( i'm in Ireland works a bit different over here) they will refer me then for my 12 week scan with the Maternity hospital. x

Sals27 · 17/08/2020 12:46

Ah maybe they've switched back to face to face. I don't know about partners, I didn't think to ask. We didn't bother with him coming last time so we definitely won't be second time around. 😂

Really relieved that I'm in the system and my scan is booked!

Rotagilla · 17/08/2020 16:30

I've just been called today for my booking in appointment and it's over the phone...

Nazz10 · 17/08/2020 20:16

I've booked mine in today for 7th September so will be 9 + 1 which is over the phone. Then will have bloods done a few days later. Then will be booked in for 12 week scan after that

Butterbean11 · 17/08/2020 20:43

Hi ladies. Got my BFP today! I'm 4+1. Due on 21st April. Already have a 1 year old daughter so I'll have 2 under 2 Confused x

LeopardLover · 17/08/2020 21:29

Hello everyone! It's nice to see some familiar faces @Rotagilla @FoxtrotOscarPoppet @BuckleUp 😉

I got my BFP at the weekend but ordered some CB digitals like you @BuckleUp - so I'll be testing my FMU tomorrow! My app tells me I'm 4+5.

I have no idea what I'm doing (and not ready to call the GP yet) so looking forward to talking with you ladies. 😊 I've had lots of cramping, bloating, and constipation 🙈 Things are starting to ease up a bit so ready for my next lot of symptoms! It really doesn't feel real at all... 😅

Rotagilla · 17/08/2020 21:31

Congratulations @Butterbean11 and welcome!

@LeopardLover congratulations and great to see you over here!! One of the OG's ❤️

@LeopardLover Yay you found us! That's great, hopefully you'll see the 2-3 week mark based on your dates. I'm 6 weeks exactly today 😆. Nausea is worst mid-morning for me, but I actually managed to go for a little run this evening! Although it seems to early, you might be worth contacting your GP sooner rather than later as some ladies have found it difficult to get booked in. Wishing you all the best 😊

@Butterbean11 Welcome! Sounds like you'll have your hands full!

LeopardLover · 17/08/2020 22:25

@Rotagilla Thank you. 😊 Honestly it is and I don't think it's over yet! More to come, hopefully. ❤️

@BuckleUp I hope so!! Oh bless you, yet well done for getting a run in 👌🏻 I'm going to head on a nice long walk in the morning before work - house DIY is taking over my exercise time atm. Ahhh, do you think? Well after tomorrow's test I'll start to psyche myself up a bit. We're still staying with my MIL atm and have family over so I'd have to nip out to do it 😅
