Yes it is definitely a relief! So glad I paid for it rather than sitting in A&E for god knows how many hours for them to tell me that everything is ok

Sals27 · 16/08/2020 08:15

@Nazz10 That's great news, how far along are you?

Nazz10 · 16/08/2020 08:54

Thank you @Sals27 I'm 6 weeks today

Furbabymum15 · 16/08/2020 08:56

Hello ladies can I join please due 19th April 😁 very anxious after 2 missed miscarriages. How is everyone feeling xx

LouJ85 · 16/08/2020 09:35

@Furbabymum15 - Hello! You're due one day before me- my due date (assuming all is well on my early scan) will be 20th April.
You'll be around 4-5 weeks too then?
I also had miscarriage and molar pregnancy previously so I'm very worried about my scan. But I'm glad they're scanning me early so I don't need to get to 12 weeks to find out what's going on. Confused

Sals27 · 16/08/2020 09:38

@Nazz10 Same as me!

I'm feeling nauseous this morning. Only slightly so it's manageable but I'm still gutted! I had none last time and was hoping for a repeat but it looks unlikely as I can't imagine if I feel sick already at 6w it's not going to get worse, hormones don't even peak for a few more weeks yet ☹️

tikha · 16/08/2020 10:31

Would like to join. Due April 16th.. so 5 weeks 2 days today. So far feeling super tired and nauseous after eating food. Post embryo transfer ad previous ectopic so will see.

Nazz10 · 16/08/2020 10:34

@Sals27 oh yay! Due date buddies! Have you got your booking in appointment yet?
I've not had any nausea yet. My mum said she didn't have any nausea or sickness with me or my brother so I'm hoping I've inherited whatever you can inherit from her 😂 I've just got incredibly sore boobs. They were waking me up last night they were that painful

Sals27 · 16/08/2020 10:49

@Nazz10 Fingers crossed, it is definitely possible.

Oh don't even ask. My drs can't book me for my booking apt in until I'm 12w. Which they in turn won't book because it's outside of the 8-10 week window. So they've given me the midwife's number to deal with her directly but so far it goes straight to voicemail everytime and I've had no response from my voicemail or text I've sent. So I'm a little peed off. I don't even care particularly about the midwife appointment itself that can be done whenever but I just want to make sure I get in for my scan. When's yours?

Furbabymum15 · 16/08/2020 11:07

@LouJ85 yay we're almost the same. Sorry to hear about your losses I know it's soul destroying! Its gotta be our time. I think I'm 4 week 4 days. Going to get in touch with midwife about booking in this week. I hope I can have an early scan too xx

Nazz10 · 16/08/2020 11:15

@Sals27 oh no that sounds like a right nightmare ☹️ could you maybe call the EPU and see if they have any contacts?

I don't have one yet either. Called them 2 weeks ago. They said they would call me this week to sort everything out but no phone call. Going to call them tomorrow and chase it

Rotagilla · 16/08/2020 16:38

@Nazz10 glad all is ok! I've had quite a few pains the last few days...I'm debating an early scan too.

I've been absolutely exhausted this weekend and really short of breath (Googled it and it said it's due to increased progesterone) but I'm happy to have symptoms!

One of the OP's on another April Baby thread has started a Facebook group, I joined and she asked if I wanted to invite all of you so we are all in one place (she noticed some are on both threads)

Ooh I'd love to join. I'm due 12th April and this is my first ever pregnancy so everything is very new but I'm excited.

LouJ85 · 16/08/2020 17:04

@Rotagilla
Does FB notify your friends when you join a private group or show that you're a member of it? I'd love to join the group but not if it notifies others I'm in it as we want to keep our news private until we have 12 week scan. If that makes sense Smile

LouJ85 · 16/08/2020 17:07

@Furbabymum15
Yes it's the worst experience, but I'm remaining hopeful for us both!
I just rang Gp after my positive test last week and said I have a history of m/c & molar pregnancy and could I therefore be considered for an early scan. They called back a few days later offering one at 6 weeks. I'm not sure if it differs by area / NHS Trust as to whether they are prepared to do it or not, but mine was agreed with no issues based on my history. Worth asking Smile

Rotagilla · 16/08/2020 17:12

@LouJ85 completely private, only those in the group will see that you have joined and why you post ❤️

SVC11 · 16/08/2020 20:11

Hey guys... I Folded and we've told my mum and my mil. I'm 5 weeks and I've made it v v clear it's early and noone else is to know. My mum was so excited bless her as its her first grand baby. She's convinced all will be fine as she's had 2 of us with no issues. I just wish there was a way to know everything was going to be OK xx

BuckleUp · 16/08/2020 20:23

@Rotagilla I got them just in case yo help with the phobia anxiety. Hopefully it won't get bad enough to need them. Still nauseous most of the day though, this week has been horrid! How are you?

@SVC11 I folded today too.. told my mum and stepdad, I'm 6 weeks tomorrow. They are under strict instructions to keep the info to themselves! It was lovely seeing how excited they were but I did feel a bit guilty not waiting until I could tell them with DH by my side. Bean better stick now 🤞🏻

@BuckleUp I hope you don't need them 😊
I'm feeling ok sickness wise....just massively gone off meat!
And this weekend I've been absolutely exhausted....I've literally done nothing!
Are you on the Facebook group? Say hello if you are it will be nice to put a name to a face 😁

@Rotagilla Meat, that's interesting! I've gone off dairy.. I'm tired all the time too, don't know what I would do if I already had a toddler to chase round after! I'm not on the Facebook group yet, but I'll join later on - my profile pic is only my hamster anyway 😂
