@KeepSmiling89 agreed! Mine was booked at my booking appointment around 7 weeks. It doesn't seem fair that so many people still don't know when their scan will be!

@LeopardLover I really hope you get a date soon. You must have the patience of a saint!

@Lynz2020 I'm sure everything is still fine. Glad your cramping has eased but hope your nausea subsides soon!

@AprilShowers2021 Well done, get plenty of rest too. I hope you get a scan date soon, I'd be going spare! I'm very sore after digging over the back garden, think I overdid it 🤦🏼‍♀️. Made up for it by getting Chinese for dinner though!

LeopardLover · 20/09/2020 20:20

@KeepSmiling89 My booking appointment isn't until next Tuesday 😭 I feel like I've been waiting so long already 😅

@BuckleUp Thank you - I wish this was the case! I'm normally so open with my friends/family so this is so difficult for me. My pals will be shocked I managed to keep the baby a secret 😅

Hooe you get some well deserved rest and enjoy your Chinese - jacket potato for me 🤣x

KeepSmiling89 · 20/09/2020 22:19

@LeopardLover how far along are you? I was just under 6 weeks when I had mine, but midwife wanted to see me before she went off on annual leave for a week or 2 so maybe I had mine early. Ill be 12 weeks next Thursday.

LeopardLover · 21/09/2020 07:41

@KeepSmiling89 Oh wow, that is quite early! I'll be 9+5 tomorrow.

Parkandride · 21/09/2020 09:16

I've had my 12 week scan letter through for 12+3, so not bad but would really like to tell family the day before as its MILs birthday! Booking in was at 8 weeks so all running ok luckily

Heading for a private scan this morning at 9+3 so hopefully all is well and we will feel reassured to tell people soon

LeopardLover · 21/09/2020 10:40

@Parkandride Gosh, it took you a while to get that scan letter!! Hope the scan goes well this morning. 😊

Parkandride · 21/09/2020 11:23

It was good thanks @LeopardLover Grin did a little wiggle for us and starting to see arms and legs, still a blob though! They couldn't see my subchorionic bleed either so hopefully that's reabsorbed, fingers crossed!

LeopardLover · 21/09/2020 11:40

@Parkandride Yaaay! This is so exciting 🥰 It's crazy to think how much baby will grow between now and the 12 week scan!

SazCat · 21/09/2020 15:53

Just been in for my BP, blood test etc after my booking in last week. Midwife said will likely be given Clexane from 28 weeks due to 3 risk factors. Had to inject after my c section last time but the thought of doing it for 12 weeks is a bit scary! Whatever they recommend though I guess!

pandabear437 · 21/09/2020 17:07

Booking appt tomorrow!! Can’t believe it’s finally here. I’ll be 9+4.

Have had a scan date sent through for 12th October, but also a referral to fetal medicine because of my history, and they’re going to see if the scanning department can fit me in earlier so I can have the harmony at the same time.

Fatigue seems to have improved. Haven’t had a nap today!! Sickness seems to be easing off too. Hoping that’s all as it’s supposed to be - we’ve all said how reassuring it is to have symptoms !

Sounds like scan dates are coming up for lots of us. Good luck everyone, hope to see lots of fuzzy bean pics soon x

AprilShowers2021 · 21/09/2020 17:50

@BuckleUp I finally got a dare for my 12 week scan (2nd October), so not long to wait. Although partners may not be allowed to attend now. Hope you enjoyed your Chinese.

@Parkandride glad to see your scan went well Smile

LeopardLover · 21/09/2020 19:53

@SazCat Oh how interesting. This is all new to me but they definitely know what's best and at least you have a little experience of taking it before. You've got this 💪🏻

@AprilShowers2021 2nd October is not so far! Yay!

@pandabear437 Snap! So ready for it. That's good your scan date has been confirmed but you will hopefully get in a bit earlier! It's wild that my nausea is picking up haha.

Lynz2020 · 22/09/2020 06:57

Has anyone else got an overly sensitive stomach? For the last couple of weeks I'm loose going to the toilet every day. Going to ring my gp today to see if they can suggest anything. Its awful as I never started out that way. Could be hormones or sickness and hoping nothing worse.

LeopardLover · 22/09/2020 07:28

@Lynz2020 Yes! Me 🙈 My stomach is really dodgy in general! One minute it's the opposite problem, then it's loose 😬 Oh the joys!

BuckleUp · 22/09/2020 08:35

@LeopardLover You're doing a great job keeping it quiet. I'm terrible with secrets of my own, I just can't hide anything! How you feeling today?

@Parkandride Glad you finally got your scan date! If your private scan goes well I'd be tempted to tell everyone at your MIL's birthday 😊

@SazCat That's a lot of injections! At least you know to expect it rather than being told last minute. How are you feeling about it?

@pandabear437 Finally! That's a long wait for your booking in appointment. At least they're trying to streamline the scan with the harmony test for you. I'm glad your symptoms are starting to ease. I think mine are too but I still have off days. I hope your appointment goes well today

@AprilShowers2021 Yay! You finally got a date. Not too long to wait either 😊. I don't think my DH can join me either, seems to depend on your area. It'll be sad but he says he understands. The Chinese was not a good idea 😂

@Lynz2020 I have the opposite problem..I gained 3lb last week and I suspect it's all caused by slow traffic 😂. I'm sure your gp should be able to help if you talk to them. Hope you feel better soon x

Tiff94 · 22/09/2020 08:40

@Lynz2020 I'm definitely the opposite this week I'm so backed up it physically hurts. I've had loose last week in the mid of the night out of nowhere I woke in pain and had to go. Trying my best to make things smoother on my side.

Parkandride · 22/09/2020 08:57

Also suffering from the opposite problem!! Think I'm going to go to the pharmacist today to see what will help Sad

Tiff94 · 22/09/2020 09:05

@Parkandride it's terrible isn't it. I'm having a coffee for the first time since week 4 when I went off it just to see if that helps. Must say I have definitely missed coffeeee ☕️

LeopardLover · 22/09/2020 09:38

@BuckleUp I'm exactly the same! I give it one week until I tell my mum 😅 Feeling okay this morning, thanks! What about you? I always feel worse after 4pm!

Just had my booking appointment. I was expecting it to last 2 hours but it was 30 mins on the phone 😅 Have an appointment next week for blood tests and to be weighed (I'm scared after all my snacking 🤣). Hoping work just let's me off and I don't have to tell them! They said currently both trusts in the city are allowing partners at the 12 week scan but it does look like the COVID situation will turn 😭

AprilShowers2021 · 22/09/2020 10:56

@Lynz2020 I feel your pain, I've been suffering with that. But I eat a lot of veggie/vegan meals and they tend to be quite heavy of spices, and I thinl that might be responsible in my case.

@Tiff94 I love Coffee but haven't been able to drink it. My last latte was at about 3 weeks pregnant and I felt sick at the first sip. I was going to try one again soon, but I've been without caffine now for 8 weeks, so probably won't bother now.

SazCat · 22/09/2020 11:07

@buckleup I'm a bit nervous but if it helps prevent any possible blood clots or pre eclampsia, then I understand the need.

Just waiting for my scan appt now, midwife said it should be ll come in the post any time. I'm 10 weeks on Thursday (ish!) so hopefully will be in a couple of weeks.

BuckleUp · 22/09/2020 11:57

@LeopardLover Haha and then she'll just roll her eyes and say 'I know' 😂. I'm feeling worse this morning but I think it's because my work network is down and I'm just sat around bored.. Yay! You finally had your appointment. They don't last long if you haven't got much of a medical history. The bloods etc are fine, at least you have an appointment at long last! Keeping my fingers crossed they don't change their rules regarding partners before you go 🤞🏻

@SazCat Glad you're feeling positive about it. Definitely worth doing if it helps lower your risks. Keep an eye out for the postie!

Tarantallegra · 22/09/2020 12:53

Hello, I'm new here as it turns out I'm a late ovulater and my 12 week scan revealed I was only 10 so my due date is now in April. A bit disappointed that I have to wait longer for all these symptoms to fade but happy as it means we get an extra picture and we know there's a good heartbeat earlier. And some adorable little feet! I was surprised they are so well developed, maybe he or she will be a little runner Grin

Due April 2021
Tiff94 · 22/09/2020 12:56

@AprilShowers2021 that's literally me 8 weeks and no coffee haven't been able to stomach it for so long. Absolutely enjoyed it this morning so I may be able to drink coffee again.

AprilShowers2021 · 22/09/2020 13:04

@tiff94 I just know that Starbuck's decaf pumpkin spiced latte will be calling me very soon 🤣.

@Tarantallegra welcome and congrats!
