@Furbabymum15 Hope you get your answers. Sending lots of love. X

BuckleUp · 02/09/2020 07:26

@FluffyKittensinabasket I have a bloated tummy too, but wish it was firm! I feel very much like a blancmange 😂

@LeopardLover Same as you I used to live for my morning brews but the milk in them sends me over the edge now! I'm like a hobbit at the moment with first breakfast (belvita biscuits), second breakfast (granola with milk and strawberries), elevenses (ginger biscuits) and lunch 😂. I've lost 5lbs since getting pregnant, but not sure how because I'm barely exercising, eating loads and I've been fortunate enough to keep food down despite the nausea.. So happy you got your booking appointment sorted out in time 😊. My 12 week scan is the week after on 29th, very exciting!

@Apricotta Well done for getting through it, your morning sounded horrific! Almost worth it for nausea free working hours. I hope your second day goes smoothly 🤞🏻

@Furbabymum15 I hope you get the support you need. Take care of yourself x

Hi everyone.

I am having lots (and I mean lots) of watery discharge at the moment, enough to change my underwear at least once a day. Do you think this is normal? I keep running to the loo thinking it's bleeding but it's just watery clear.
I will be 7 weeks on Friday

Lynz2020 · 02/09/2020 13:25

@indecisivewoman81 Sorry can't help as I've not experienced this, I'm 7 weeks and barely had any discharge.

MamaLulu1986 · 02/09/2020 14:20

@indecisivewoman81 I've not experienced it so far with this pregnancy but I had it loads with my first which continued all the way through! TBH I've been waiting for it to this time round but no sign yet???

BuckleUp · 02/09/2020 15:01

@indecisivewoman81 I've read that it's common but haven't yet experienced it myself. I have more than usual but it's not watery. Sorry I can't help further. I found this which might help answer questions www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/vaginal-discharge-pregnant/

pandabear437 · 02/09/2020 15:20

6+5 today and had a telephone appointment with GO today to get the ball rolling. Arranged my midwife booking appointment for 22nd September. Got a holiday between now and then so hoping time passes quickly.

I’m really waiting to be able to get some additional tests done that can’t be done before 10/11 weeks. We lost a baby earlier this year due to abnormalities so I can’t really relax until I have those done. First trimester feels so slow!

Not having that many symptoms. I’d prefer to feel a bit more sick just to have the reassurance, but can’t complain really (!)

indecisivewoman81 · 02/09/2020 15:34

@BuckleUp thank you. It seems to be just another odd pregnancy symptom! I have two children already so you'd think I'd be used to all this but this pregnancy seems to be completely different to the others. I am more nauseous, less tired, more achy and moody and now have need to carry around spare knickers in my bag! Brilliant!

I have too (but not so much that I need to change).
FoxtrotOscarPoppet · 02/09/2020 16:47

@BuckleUp I too am embracing the Hobbit diet Grin

LuckyFlash · 02/09/2020 18:16

@indecisivewoman81 I’ve definitely had more than usual but it’s kind of sticky? Not wet.

My other main symptom (other than the nausea) is insomnia. Anyone else getting this? I’m tired but lay awake all night. It makes me feel terrible all day. Poor DH has been so nice doing everything for me while I rest and complain lol. I’m not really enjoying the feeling of not being able to do things I usually do with ease.

Booking appointment tomorrow though so that’s exciting!

LeopardLover · 02/09/2020 19:14

@BuckleUp "blancmange" 🤣 This tickled me! So weirdly I could eat my porridge today! There's no pattern to this feeling, other than I'm the worst when I'm hungry. I'm going to ask DH to pick me up some Granola and some ginger biscuits - thanks! Eeek, your 12 week scan will be here before you know it. My SIL had hers this week and the baby wouldn't stop moving - so cute.

@pandabear437 I know what you mean - I want sickness for reassurance too!

@LuckyFlash I keep waking up in the night too which is unlike me. Sometimes to use the loo but sometimes to just toss and turn. I've never been someone to use the bathroom in the night so this is new.

Other symptoms - I'm very irritable, and the odd back pain now and again!

pandabear437 · 02/09/2020 19:27

@LuckyFlash yes I’ve had insomnia, same in my previous pregnancies. I find it can be linked to thirst a bit, so try to make sure I’m fully hydrated before bed. Of course then I’m up to use the loo all night so sometimes you can’t win.

Also have vivid dreams in early pregnancy. Nighttime is exhausting! 😩

GreySkyClouds · 02/09/2020 20:39

Slight back pain
Insomnia
Nausea
Bloating 😩
Tiredness
Dizziness

As long as baby is okay I don’t mind. Just want the first scan to know it’s not in vain.

GreySkyClouds · 02/09/2020 20:41

I should say that the back pain is more discomfort at night. Just can’t seem to get comfortable in between peeing

BuckleUp · 02/09/2020 21:45

@pandabear437 Sounds like you have everything in hand and you can now relax on holiday 😊

@indecisivewoman81 You're welcome. I think every pregnancy's different. I've got a friend who suffered with sickness terribly with her first two and hasn't even felt nauseous this time round. This is my first so I'm googling everything as I've no idea what to expect!

@FoxtrotOscarPoppet Welcome to The Shire 😂. The home of continuous grazing..

@LuckyFlash Sorry you're struggling to sleep, that must be exhausting. Have you tried settling down for bed earlier or doing something before bed that helps you to switch off? I'm up a few times a night but otherwise I'm sleeping ok. Hopefully you get some proper sleep soon 🤞🏻

@LeopardLover I agree, I'm definitely worse when I'm hungry. It's like a constant emptiness in my stomach. I start a meal thinking I could eat a horse and then by the time I've barely nibbled a hoof I'm stuffed 😂. Aww, you're not far behind your SIL then, you're still keeping your news quiet for now aren't you? Do you think everyone will be super excited for you and OH?

@GreySkyClouds I like how you're listing everything! I'm like you, it's fine if it's not all in vain. Really hoping the 12 week scan shows everything is progressing well. Only 4 weeks to wait 🤦🏼‍♀️

LeopardLover · 02/09/2020 22:18

@BuckleUp It's so crazy - I'm mostly eating peppers, raspberries, and salt & vinegar crisps
... I don't normally eat crisps! I cooked tonight but could only manage a few bites. I had to resort to crackers 😅 Yes, it's so exciting! My other SIL is TTC but I know if she's pregnant or not - she very well could be! DH has a lot of sisters but is closest to those two so would be dreamy to have babies around the same time. Everyone will be really excited! 😊 It's killing me keeping it secret. DH said I should tell my mum if I need to tell someone but I want to wait if I can. 😅

FluffyKittensinabasket · 02/09/2020 22:29

I am mainly living off chocolate soya protein milk and sour cream and onion Pringles.

I have ordered some nice brownies from a lady who used to sell them at my university, let’s see if I can enjoy them!

Laurenjoy1 · 02/09/2020 23:28

I hadn't had periods for years so I can't work out my due date. I've narrowed it down to the conceived date being 25th July but looking back on my texts I had sore boobs the day after on the 26th. Would you say this is possible or think I conceived the weekend before? As of symptoms I've had sore boobs, small cramps here and there and I feel tired 24/7! I'm around 8/9 weeks and haven't had sickness yet so fingers crossed it stays that way.

Richmonder · 02/09/2020 23:34

Hello! I’m 9 weeks ish and my first scan, about 2 weeks ago puts my due date at April 4th.

Still very nauseated but not being sick as much as I was. I’m in the US, and the pre natal team recommended B6 supplements 3x a day and a unisom - some kind of anti-histamine? - at night which is kind of helping but not getting rid of it entirely. Next appointment is next week. 😊

DH is being very sweet and waiting on me hand and foot while I whinge about feeling bloated and being sick 😂

Maydot · 03/09/2020 09:07

Hi ladies Congratulations to you all!! Do you mind if I join? I’m about 8 weeks pregnant, due sometime around the 11th April with my 2nd baby! So excited but also trying not to get my hopes up too much due to previous losses! 🤞🏼
And i’m also struggling with nausea and tiredness and running around after an 18 month old!!

GreySkyClouds · 03/09/2020 09:28

I understand. I’m 7 weeks, but have booked a private scan for 9 weeks. Even those 2 weeks feel like a lifetime away.

BuckleUp · 03/09/2020 09:41

@LeopardLover Haha exactly, I'm usually more of a chocolate lover and I can't face it most of the time now. That's so exciting, it'll be so nice to share everything with each other and the cousins will be so close in age! My nephews are nearly 4 and 2 so the age gap between them and bean is bigger than we'd have liked but I'm sure they'll still get on 🤞🏻

@FluffyKittensinabasket Those brownies sound yummy, I hope you feel up to them when they arrive!

@Laurenjoy1 Sounds promising, your midwife will be able to advise you at your booking in appointment and the 12 week scan will confirm a due date based on size 😊. Fingers crossed your sickness stays away!

@Richmonder Welcome to the group 🙂. Sorry to hear you've struggled with sickness. It sounds like your DH is being very supportive though. What's the process like in the US?

@Maydot Sorry to hear about your previous losses, hopefully this pregnancy goes smoothly for you. Sounds like you're being kept on your feet!

@GreySkyClouds The wait for scans and reassurance that all is well does seem to drag, almost as slowly as the TWW 😂

MooseyGoose90 · 03/09/2020 12:01

Hi ladies.

Just found this thread and thought I would join. I am due 4th April 😃 I started a thread about ovulation tests and my concerns I wasn’t ovulating. Turns out I was pregnant!

I am now 9+4 and dare I say the nausea, sickness, dizziness seems to be calming down a little. I had extreme nausea from 5 weeks (when I found out!) I have struggled through work, I work in construction so trying to cut back on heavy lifting etc has been hard and looking back I think I should have gone to GP and for myself signed off for a few weeks.

Very excited, but very nervous. I am waiting for my booking appointment as I haven’t had that yet.

Lovely to have a thread where we are all at very similar stage!

SkyeBarn · 03/09/2020 12:06

@MooseyGoose90 I actually got told I wasn't ovulating and then got pregnant the day after! Thankfully your sickness is slowing down, hopefully it continues to do so!
