@lavendersblue92 Get different results each website so I'm going off my own dates lol. I booked a private scan with window to the womb for this Sunday and I'm waiting for my appointment letter from the NHS for official scan.

lavendersblue92 · 31/08/2020 12:41

@Lynz2020 I don't blame you lol. Oh good luck with your scan! We looked at window to the womb but went with meet your miracle as I preferred the idea of an external scan rather than the transvaginally. I'm also awaiting my letter from nhs for 12 week scan

Ndl86 · 31/08/2020 13:06

@lavendersblue92 yes the private scan place asked us to rebook for in 2 weeks time free of charge. Going to try and keep busy and not think to much about it until the next scan.

lavendersblue92 · 31/08/2020 13:23

@Ndl86 oh that's really good of them 😊

Lynz2020 · 31/08/2020 14:16

@lavendersblue92 I could ask for an external scan instead of an internal but I think when you're under 8 weeks they say external doesn't show much or something.

123feraverto · 31/08/2020 14:18

@Parkandride

I'm so sorry *@Furbabymum15* Flowers I'm glad you got some answers fairly quickly, hopefully they were supportive at the EPU, so horrid and unfair Sad

Same goes for you @123feraverto twice in row is just heartbreaking , are you having much bleeding? Flowers

Thanks

Was quite significant yesterday and continues today, I would imagine when I test in the morning it will be back to BFN
Sooner the better so I can get back on track

Still got occasional nausea and sore boobs but that will probably disappear soon too

Next time I guess

Congratulations for the twins Thanks

lavendersblue92 · 31/08/2020 14:34

@Lynz2020 Yh we waited until I was 8+6 before we had the scan so was slightly further along. Keep us posted with how it goes ☺️

FluffyKittensinabasket · 31/08/2020 14:57

I had my scan, 6 weeks 5 days, could clearly see baby’s heartbeat!

Lynz2020 · 31/08/2020 15:27

@FluffyKittensinabasket was yours internal or external?

FluffyKittensinabasket · 31/08/2020 15:30

They did both, internal for a clearer view.

Catwoman1985 · 31/08/2020 16:28

I am so sorry @Furbabymum15 Flowers and @123feraverto Flowers Thinking of you both

We are currently 6+6 and have a private scan booked for around the 8w mark to try and put our minds at rest

FluffyKittensinabasket · 31/08/2020 16:38

Pregnancy is so precarious in these early days, Flowers to those with losses.

Keeping my 🤞🏻 for all of us!

Apricotta · 31/08/2020 19:00

Sooooooo relieved I'm not experiencing any "morning sickness" this evening!!! Phew, what a welcome relief. It's a funny old thing though as when you don't have such an unpleasant symptom you want it and you worry when you don't have it. I am frickin bricking it about tomorrow morning though, being the first day back. Think I'm going to shower tonight, have everything laid out in the morning and ready by the door, take spare clothes for a worst case scenario and an emergency sick bag. Get up extra early and hope I can get from home to work without throwing up. It's like the worst absolute worst hangover I've ever had... Worse actually 😭

StaffieLover1989 · 31/08/2020 21:08

Has anyone experienced mild period like cramps early on, I'm 6 weeks on Tuesday xx

Apricotta · 31/08/2020 21:26

@StaffieLover1989 I had some mild cramping but it disappeared and came to nothing. I think it's ligaments and muscle prep.

Olive1701 · 31/08/2020 21:45

@Apricotta I literally described the last few days to OH as having a consistent hangover! Constant nausea and taking 3 and a half hour naps mid afternoon!

@StaffieLover1989 very common for me between 5 and 7 weeks

LeopardLover · 01/09/2020 08:43

Morning everyone! How are we today? Good luck @Apricotta!

@StaffieLover1989 I've had cramps on and off since AF was due!

I'm 6+5 today and I have a new symptom - dry heaving. Anyone else have this? I couldn't stomach my porridge either, but managed to eat some fruit and a yoghurt!

Lynz2020 · 01/09/2020 10:44

I have been having period cramps on and off for a couple of weeks. Feel sick with i stand up and walk about and have really sore boobs and I'm bloated so I just look like I've eaten too much. First time today I couldn't finish my porridge and water has started to taste funny, I'm 7 weeks.

BuckleUp · 01/09/2020 11:07

@StaffieLover1989 I'm 8+1 and also get period type cramps fairly regularly, usually worse early morning and evenings. I think it's just everything stretching out so I wouldn't be overly concerned unless it's really painful or quite sharp.

@Apricotta Good luck today! I find my nausea fades away when I'm busy rather than sat at my desk, so hopefully teaching will take your mind off it. Hope today goes well for you 🤞🏻

@LeopardLover Dry heaving sounds the worst 🤢. At least you're getting those symptoms you wanted! I feel like I could retch if I think about it so keep trying to distract myself 😂. I haven't been able to face porridge since about 5 weeks, I used to have it for breakfast daily! Hope you feel better soon x

@Lynz2020 A funny metallic taste in my mouth was my first symptom, about 4 days before AF was due. It went away for a couple of weeks but came back at week 7 with a vengeance. I find sucking sweets or chewing gum helps with it.

FluffyKittensinabasket · 01/09/2020 11:20

Tap water tastes funny, I’m drinking Evian only now!

Last night my stomach felt a bit stretchy. I’m week 7 now so I guess stuff is going on in there!

I have a little bloated tummy that feels firm!

LeopardLover · 01/09/2020 12:11

@BuckleUp Because it's still mild I'm wishing it would get worse, even though this isn't nice as it is 🤣 Oh no! What do you eat for breakfast? I always loved a milky cup of decaf tea but this makes me want to vomit these days 😅 I'd love some sore boobs / bloat next as this disappeared!

I've got my booking appointment btw - 22nd September via the phone. 😊 2 days before I'm 10 weeks!

Lynz2020 · 01/09/2020 16:27

@FluffyKittensinabasket I wish my belly was firm, mines like bloated jelly lol

Apricotta · 01/09/2020 16:43

Eugh. Got through it. Only by waking up at 2am with severe nausea and vomiting 3 times until 5am. Managed to get 1hr sleep after that and then the alarm went! Tbh I'd take this if it means I can have nausea free working hours 😂.... Thoroughly horrific going through it though, esp when you desperately want to be sick to end the torture of the nausea!

Furbabymum15 · 01/09/2020 18:57

@Lynz2020 so sorry to hear your experience, its awful isn't it. I m sure you will be just fine this time.. Stay positive ❤️

Furbabymum15 · 01/09/2020 18:58

Thankyou all for your best wishes.... I'm fine.... Just looking forward to getting some answers now I've had 3 consecutive miscarriages x
