@Kaityx4

Hi congrats on all your pregnancies 💓 i hope you dont mind me all posting also sorry for the doom and gloom I am currently 8 weeks and due in April also . I have woke up today to brown spotting when wiping and crampimg its lasted most the day . Morning sickness and tender breasts has also gone . I had a missed misscarriage in april so I'm a quite worried and stressed has anyone experienced this and had a positive outcome . I had a scan at 6 weeks and baby had heart beat I have a scan on Friday so trying not to panic untill then .
Finger crossed for Friday. Days feel so long in this process!
LeopardLover · 26/08/2020 20:57

@BuckleUp It's good you got to have your booking appointment in person. 😊 Your scan will be here before you know it! Still no appointment letter for me yet.

@GreySkyClouds Congratulations! Hopefully your scan will put your mind at ease. Not long to wait!

@Kaityx4 I hope Friday goes well. Spotting seems quite common but I can understand your concern after your loss in April. Sending you positive vibes!

pandabear437 · 26/08/2020 22:36

Hi everyone
Please can i join? 5+5 today, my BFP only just sinking in. I am 38 and have a 3 and a half year old daughter and we lost a baby earlier this year at 16 weeks after we discovered abnormalities at the 12 week scan. I’m trying not to think about anything until we can have those tests again at 12 weeks and get some reassurance everything is ok.

Luckily I have a holiday to Cornwall coming up, and by the time I get back from that I’ll be nearer 10 weeks.

Not really feeling many symptoms yet apart from sore boobs and the odd tugging low down. Had a craving for Bombay mix yesterday, so perhaps things are starting to ramp up !

BuckleUp · 27/08/2020 08:13

@Kaityx4 Your spotting doesn't sound like too much to worry about but worth getting checked out to put your mind at ease. I hope the scan goes well tomorrow.

@LeopardLover oh no! When did you submit a request for an appointment? Is it worth chasing them up? It took a few days for me to get a call back, no letter though. It's weird how different everywhere is!

BuckleUp · 27/08/2020 08:15

@pandabear437 Welcome. Sorry for your loss, that must have been very difficult. Your holiday should help pass the time before your 12 week scan though. Sounds like your symptoms are progressing well 🤞🏻

SVC11 · 27/08/2020 08:35

Hi everyone, haven't been here for a while. I had my booking appointment all went well, they took blood and then talked about my family history, weighed me, blood pressure etc etc. Symptoms for me are just extreme tiredness, oh my goodness I've never felt tiredness like it. My boobs are pretty huge and I get waves of nausea and just not feeling 100%. I'm 6 + 5 I think and I don't know what to do about telling work, I go out to site and work with construction workers and other members of staff, I try to keep my distance but I have no idea what the policy for work would be with covid. If I couldn't go to site my work would be screwed. 🤷‍♀️

Lynz2020 · 27/08/2020 10:16

@SVC11 I'm pretty much the same as you for dates. I work in a school and haven't been there since March as I got a vulnerable letter. My midwife said I should think about telling my boss as they would need to do a risk assessment but I had a mmc in april a day before my 12 week (8+4) so not wanting to tell anyone until after then and I know everything is OK. I'm booked in for a private viability scan next Sunday so hopefully everything is ok. I currently have waves of nausea, sore breasts and sometimes cramping but also had cold shivers yesterday with a bad stomach.

LeopardLover · 27/08/2020 10:45

@BuckleUp 18th August! I'll give it 2 weeks but I struggle to get time off work (I don't want to tell them yet) so I'm a bit anxious that my appointment will be soon and my holiday won't be approved. Fingers crossed it'll work out! I'm 6 weeks today and woke up with nausea (not awful) and I still feel off so this is new - I'm glad though (I want to feel something). Might make concentrating at work a little tricky for the next 6 weeks 😅

BuckleUp · 27/08/2020 13:52

@LeopardLover Hmm, maybe they're busy where you are. I think I got a phone call within a couple of days. You have plenty of time though. The NHS website says they like the booking in appointment to happen by the time you reach 10 weeks. Glad you're feeling pregnant, I know how much you wanted some symptoms! x

pandabear437 · 27/08/2020 19:35

Thank you @buckleup

I delved into my bag of Bombay mix today, damn it was good. Then I felt nauseous Confused. I’m still quite pleased to have some symptoms though! 5+6 today. I have scheduled a telephone call with my GP next week to let them know. I have no idea what midwives here are doing about booking in appointments, but I’m not going to worry for a few weeks, then I’ll give them a ring to book in.

Apricotta · 28/08/2020 08:19

Hi can I join? I was on the another thread but it's closed for some reason 🙁

I'm guessing I'm due 20th April.

I read online about a rumour that Kate Middleton might be pregnant! Poor lady though having her every move watched by the media. 😔. I kinda hope that she is though! 💞😄

LeopardLover · 28/08/2020 08:49

@BuckleUp Yeah, they must be! There's just one midwife centre for the whole city which is crazy. I guess there's a baby boom happening 😅 That's good to know - plenty of time to have it. 😊

@pandabear437 I know what you mean re feeling grateful to have symptoms. I felt nauseous most of yesterday and feeling off this morning but I'm pretty pleased with myself haha.

Hey @Apricotta! 😊 Oh wow, really? They do make cute kids!

StaffieLover1989 · 28/08/2020 09:16

Hello! I'm due 27th April. Other than sore boobs and extremely tired I've not got many other symptoms! Hope everyone is well xx

Chicken123 · 28/08/2020 09:20

Morning ladies, how are you all?
I had the WORST nights sleep last night, ended up sleeping on the sofa because the nausea was so bad and also uncomfortable aches in my tummy. I was up every 2 hours using the toilet and each wee was like I hadn’t been for hours and hours!

This morning I’m still not feeling that great with nausea and the bloat is ridiculous!
Have our early scan tomorrow morning and I’m (excuse the language) shitting myself! I’m so nervous that they’re either not going to find anything, find something but it’s bad news or there’s 2 in there!! I’m literally bricking it! X

OneStepOneStumble · 28/08/2020 14:29

@StaffieLover1989 I'm due the 26th so almost buddies! Congrats!

I've still barely any symptoms and it doesn't really feel like I'm pregnant at all!

StaffieLover1989 · 28/08/2020 14:33

@OneStepOneStumble congratulations to you too!!
It's a strange feeling isn't it. I thought I'd suddenly have this moment where I thought wow I feel pregnant but I don't at all! Is it your first? It is mine xx

OneStepOneStumble · 28/08/2020 15:34

@StaffieLover1989 yes my first so I'm not really sure what to expect! Appointments feel so far away!

StaffieLover1989 · 28/08/2020 15:39

@OneStepOneStumble don't they just! And because of Covid were not having a blood test or check up at the docs before we see a midwife! That in itself makes me anxious! Are you going to find out what you're having? Xx

carlaleanne · 28/08/2020 15:50

So I am really struggling. Since I last posted I’ve had really bad morning sickness (that lasts all day long) and then acid reflux at night. I am not being sick all the time but I always feel sick to the point where I can’t eat, because there’s just nothing I can stomach 😭 the gp gave me some anti sickness meds but they seem to be given me an upset stomach so I just feel meh 😭

I’ve tried everything for the sickness, flat lemonade, preggo pops, salted crackers etc etc but nothing seems to work and I am exhausted. I’m only 6 weeks too and I’m terrified I won’t be able to cope if this continues because all I can do is stay in bed with numerous toilet trips daily and throughout the night.

OneStepOneStumble · 28/08/2020 15:53

@StaffieLover1989 yes I think so! I think pregnancy and birth (and no doubt parenting) will be full of enough surprises for us 😂 I'd like to feel like I can get the jump on one of them! How about you?

StaffieLover1989 · 28/08/2020 16:27

@carlaleanne that sounds awful! I know the morning sickness is meant to subside later on but maybe speak to the docs again. You can't carry on feeling so poorly.

@OneStepOneStumble yes we are definitely finding out. It'll be nice to plan and actually call baby he or she! Xx

Parkandride · 28/08/2020 16:49

Joining if I may, graduated from the ivf boards and just had my 6 week scan today with a teeny tiny heartbeat seen, can't believe it! Due 23rd April. Hopefully I can be less nuts now and stop wishing I had more symptoms Hmm
Rang to book in with the midwife but she asked what hospita I want and I'm clueless! Need to read up this weekend, I guess there'll be stats out there to give me a starting place

StaffieLover1989 · 28/08/2020 17:30

@Parkandride congratulations that's amazing news!!! All I've been told is the midwife won't contact me until 8 weeks xx

Sansa87 · 28/08/2020 18:13

Technically I’m not supposed to be here, but I see lots of my August pact girlies...

I got my bfp 4 weeks 4 days post surgery ❤️
