Morning all joined this group a few days ago but hadn't had a chance to chat properly! Got this this morning so feel like my anxiety level has dropped a bit knowing that I'm progressing as I should I'm only 5+2 have an early scan next Tuesday. X

CatCrazyx · 20/08/2020 08:16

5+2 today and woke up feeling like I could definitely throw up! Trying to eat dry snacks and hoping it passes.. 🤢

CatCrazyx · 20/08/2020 08:18

@BFP2020 I’m 5+2 as well! Pregnancy twins!

LeopardLover · 20/08/2020 08:39

Morning 5+2 club 😉 @CatCrazyx @BFP2020 I'm actually feeling symptom-less today which is making me feel a bit anxious! I fancy a bit of nausea 😅

@ARIO An early scan before telling the family sounds like a great plan - as does a pre-baby holiday!! Hopefully you won't be too exhausted this time round x

LuckyFlash · 20/08/2020 08:52

The nausea is definitely kicking in for me now at 6+6. No actual sickness yet but yesterday I felt waves of nausea all day and same this morning. Ginger tea is helping. I’m still on furlough and have been since March so feeling like I can’t do anything while feeling sick has left me feeling like a useless blob.

Has anyone continued exercising? I went for a run yesterday and it was so much harder than usual. Managed 6k but felt shattered after. Might try a swim today instead.

BFP2020 · 20/08/2020 08:54

@CatCrazyx @LeopardLover My nausea seems to come and go but with my first I didn't get the bad nausea until 6 weeks. Are we all due so the same day too 20th April? Well so far until our Dating scan.

I was getting IUI next month so was in a fertility clinic and was shocked I was pregnant after 20 cycles TTC so they are giving me 2 early scans one at 6 weeks and going to have the other at 8 1/2 weeks to try break up the wait until the 12 week scan.

How long was everyone TTC? Baby no?

LeopardLover · 20/08/2020 09:39

@LuckyFlash Oh bless you, must be even more difficult without the distraction of work!! I've been rubbish with exercise this past week - It's very unlike me to sit still but I've been finishing work and just crashing. I want to pick it back up - might do another nice long walk after work.

@BFP2020 I'm not sure - Online tools say 21/22 at the moment! Oh wow, what a wonderful surprise - so glad they are taking good care of you. 😊 This is baby #1 for me so absolutely clueless about everything! We were very fortunate to conceive on our 3rd cycle. X

CatCrazyx · 20/08/2020 09:47

@BFP2020 The feeling of being sea sick has worn off now thankfully. Sometimes when I stand up I feel a bit dizzy so taking my time! I used the NHS pregnancy due date app and mine says I’m due 22nd April.

Baby #1 so same as @LeopardLover everything is so new and feel like I’m googling everything every 5 minutes. Conceived in 2nd cycle so feel very fortunate also x

Jigglypuff88 · 20/08/2020 09:58

Hello all, I can’t keep up with what threads I am on! I am due 12th April and this is my second baby but 3rd pregnancy (first was a mmc). I feel like this pregnancy is already different. I have waves of nausea and eating does help. Last pregnancy with my son I couldn’t eat barely anything in the first trimester! Also absolutely shattered and going to bed at 7/8pm. Boobs are tender. That’s it really. Not sure if I’m gonna book an early scan, think I may see if I can wait it out until 12 weeks. I have had a weird feeling it might be twins 😱 I have no idea why.

Chicken123 · 20/08/2020 10:01

Morning ladies,
6+1 today and have been suffering every symptom imaginable on/off since 3+4!!
Have an early scan booked for 7+3 which is next Saturday and then will be telling our close friends and family.
I wonder if they date me any differently when I go.
So nervous about it though!

LouJ85 · 20/08/2020 10:01

@LuckyFlash
I'm a runner but haven't done any running since finding out, mainly because I'm struggling so much with nausea and been trying to get the right combination of meds to get it under control. I plan to pick my running back up as soon as I can though, although I won't be doing more than 5k here and there (mostly because I don't want to be too far from the house in case sickness strikes! )Blush

FluffyKittensinabasket · 20/08/2020 10:36

I’m due 21st April apparently!

123feraverto · 20/08/2020 11:26

Current EDD 25th April 🙂

Maybe3ornot · 20/08/2020 11:41

Anyone having period like cramps. It worries me so much, I can’t remember having these with my other two?

Sals27 · 20/08/2020 14:14

@Maybe3ornot Yes I have been since before AF was due, I'm 6+5 today. Sometimes they're barely noticeable, other times they are quite strong cramps. I had these for the first couple of months in my first pg and all was fine, it doesn't stop it being worrying this time around though even though I try to tell myself I know it means nothing!

ARIO · 20/08/2020 14:22

@Maybe3ornot yes me too I'm having them on and off quite a lot. More noticeable at night and sometimes actually quite painful sometimes! I don't remember having it with my first either. I read that it's nothing to worry about unless you're literally bend double in pain with bleeding but it's still a worry.

Tryingforourmissingpiece · 20/08/2020 15:44

Hello everyone, I hope you don’t mind me joining 👋🏻 I’ve enjoyed reading the thread so far! I’ve recently got my first BFP (tested 3 times to be sure as I didn’t believe the first one!) and according to natural cycles am 5+4 and due in April 21 🥳, Although, I am a little confused as I took one of those tests this morning that tell you how many weeks and it says 1-2 weeks...I was very relaxed this cycle and didn’t temp, so natural cycles may not be very accurate! No got too many symptoms at the moment, just sore boobs and only the occasional slight nausea and twinges down there. We are so hopeful for a sticky one! 🤞🏻

LeopardLover · 20/08/2020 17:53

@Jigglypuff88 How exciting! Twins would be amazing if that were true. It happened to my friend, she had an 8 week scan. They asked if twins ran in her family and she just said no and laughed... They replied, you do now! 😅

@Chicken123 The countdown to your scan is on then! It's a shame you've had all the symptoms but hopefully it's a good sign. 😊

@Maybe3ornot I've had loads of cramping! It woke me up before I found out, I just assumed it was AF pains. They've eased a bit but it's still on and off!

@Tryingforourmissingpiece Congratulations! 😊 I've heard the CB tests aren't very reliable anyway so it might not be accurate and you could be 5+4w. Wishing you a healthy and happy pregnancy! 💜

Chicken123 · 20/08/2020 18:01

@LeopardLover Definitely! I have booked the day off of work so we can enjoy it.
I’m so excited but nervous to tell our families!

Jigglypuff88 · 20/08/2020 18:12

@leopardlover I think it would be a bit of a shock to the system 🤣 I dunno why I think twins. Maybe I’m just going a bit bonkers!

MrsDash · 20/08/2020 18:18

@BFP2020 I did the exact same thing! Took one of those tests at 5w2d Smile I agree it’s reassuring. Congrats!

Due April 2021
BFP2020 · 20/08/2020 21:51

@MrsDash it is I had been feeling so anxious but when I saw that this morning it really put me at ease! Are u going to book an early scan? Is this your first?

MrsDash · 20/08/2020 22:01

@BFP2020 yes I completely understand. I think I was craving seeing a line progression on tests but my lines have always been so dark (We had ivf so I was given a specific date to test which was equivalent of 16dpo) I never got any line progression (I know I can’t complain about that!) so I wanted to do the weeks test to get more info I suppose!
I’ve since had an early scan at 7 weeks (which was on Monday 17th) which I had because of the ivf. All is looking good. I’m now 7 weeks 5 days. It was hugely reassuring having the early scan.

BFP2020 · 21/08/2020 06:55

@MrsDash that's a really clear scan pic did you see a heartbeat? Were ye trying for long before going for ivf?
I was with a fertility clinic too had a lap and dye on the 20th july(CD7) and if I didn't get pregnant I wanted to do IUI in the August cycle which would have been cycle 21 for us! He didn't find anything wrong but he said some women have mucus in their tubes and the dye test flushed that out pregnant literally straight after it got a very positive OPK on CD 16 we DTD CD 13,15,16 and 20. Only took a test 11 DPO as I was due to go for my baseline scan 🙈

MrsDash · 21/08/2020 07:10

Yes we saw a heartbeat 😊 I have a video but don’t think I can post it on here.

Oh that’s lovely to hear a positive story. So glad it worked for you. I’ve had that procedure too but it revealed a blocked tube (a tube I no longer even have) as I have bad endometriosis and have had 3 surgeries. We started trying 2.5 years ago. The endo diagnosis sort of sped things up in terms of going for ivf as we knew the main problem was damaged tubes so ivf was the only option.
