@krissy12 I'm totally with you on that mindset, as long as we have the basic essentials for baby's arrival anything else we've missed out can come after, amazon prime is my best friend 😂

@DressingGown87 I would rather them ask me is it Christmas yet because at least I could give them a date or tell Yoel how many sleeps, I can't do that with baby and they're so confused. I'm now getting asked the dreaded questions of how it's gonna come out and how it even got in there lol!
Wow 16 days until your induction it's coming round so quick! Your doing really well and your on top of everything so don't worry too much.
I think @EmmaA96 was booked in for a c section or induction for the 1st Oct with her twins? Hope she's doing ok! Not long left.

@CurlyMummy1912 I agree it's all temporary your right. I'm due three days after you, my other two came at 36 weeks and 37 weeks, everyone seems to think I will go early again but I just feel like this one will be over due and make me wait. If you go into labour before your elective c section what happens then? Do they just take you in for one straight away? I don't really know how it works.

@roarfeckingroarr don't get resentful 😩 I know it's so hard right now and no amount of compliments will make us feel better lol. What do you mean by like his dad did? Also maybe try doggy he can't see the bump then and it's actually comfortable being on all fours lol 😂😂

EmmaA96 · 26/09/2020 13:14

Aww hi girls... I literally haven’t been able to keep up with reading the thread I kept losing it!!

My little ladies where born on Thursday after my waters broke at 3am after a midnight wee 🤣

Bang on 35 weeks & weighing around 5lb each. Perfect, just waiting to be discharged we can’t wait to get home!

@EmmaA96 AWWWW omg I was just thinking of you!!! They are the most perfect little angels I wanna cry!!!! Congratulations they are beautiful, I hope labour and everything went well for you? Soo happy for you ❤️❤️❤️

Mc3209 · 26/09/2020 13:28

@EmmaA96 massive congratulations!! They are perfect, so sweet!! How are you feeling? Hope you and the little ones are well 🥰🥰

EmmaA96 · 26/09/2020 13:36

Thank you! I had a section, still doesn’t feel real but feeling good! Taking it slow I got an awful headache that won’t budge I’m assuming it’s because these wards are noisy!! No fresh air waiting on little ones bloods to check jaundice levels and then we are free hopefully! Xx

1990shopefulftm · 26/09/2020 13:39

@EmmaA96 congratulations, hope you can get home soon :)

Mc3209 · 26/09/2020 13:53

@roarfeckingroarr you are almost there, a home run. It should get easier once the baby evacuates the premises.

I am pretty short of breath too. What gets me the most is the hip and back pain. I am sleepy, but can't sleep for long as it feels like hips are being crushed. Fun times.

60sPony · 26/09/2020 14:19

Wow @EmmaA96 they are absolute perfection! Congratulations!
Hope your headache shifts and you are all on your way home very soon

DressingGown87 · 26/09/2020 14:26

@krissy12 I’m with you on the Amazon prime. It’s just the basic food items which are bothering me, as I might not be able to go to the shops. But my neighbours have said they will grab me anything I need.

@SamK93 oh god! There questions you don’t need. My niece has took prime position under the loft hatch, asking for the Christmas tree everyday for the last weeks. My sister hasn’t even told her that she pregnant (due January). Hopefully they get fed up of asking soon. It really is coming around so quick, planning thing like shaving my legs 😂 and last (peaceful) meal! Hopefully your little one doesn’t keep you waiting too long.

@EmmaA96 omg! Congratulations they look adorable! Hope you manage to get home soon, and that the headache goes.

That’s 3 babies arrived!

congratulations @EmmaA96 they are gorgeous hope you get home soon

WaveStreet · 26/09/2020 16:07

@SamK93 yes all fours with a pillow under bump is the only way 😆

@EmmaA96 congratulations on your girls, well done you. And what a beautiful photo!

@mc3209 the hip and back pain is a real struggle. Do you find the pain moves around too? Sometimes the pain is just in one side and down my buttock and other times its both sides lower back. Might have to try a spare duvet under the sheet to see if that helps the hip pain at night from laying on my sides.

Flora20 · 26/09/2020 16:26

@EmmaA96 Congratulations, what a gorgeous picture too! Hope your headache clears up and you get home soon ♥️

FirstSurprise001 · 26/09/2020 17:17

@EmmaA96 oh aren’t they just beautiful! Congratulations! Fingers crossed you’re home and relaxing soon!

@CurlyMummy1912 legit what sex life 😂 my OH is massively freaked out by the baby moving inside so I’m pretty sure it’s been 2 months since I even attempted to insinuate anything. Then I just think it’s going to be god knows how many weeks after the baby is born before I get any action either 😂

@DressingGown87 I can’t believe it’s so close until your little one will be here! I agree on the getting a delivery slot booked in; around here they’re booked ahead for weeks now.

I had to go into the office on Thursday to hand back all my things, wore a facemask the whole time and yet now I’ve woken up with a stinking cold/run down feeling. All congested in my nose, ear ache and headache that won’t go away without paracetamol. Can’t help feeling sorry for myself after months of not seeing anyone and then the minute I go somewhere I’m poorly 😭

1990shopefulftm · 26/09/2020 17:29

@FirstSurprise001 you re perfectly justified in feeling sorry for yourself in that situation, I d be very annoyed when you ve done everything you could and you still got someone's germs. Salines been quite helpful for me when I ve had congestion because of my hayfever, could be worth a try?

Mc3209 · 26/09/2020 18:01

@WaveStreet yeah, mine moves around depending on what I've been doing/what position I've been in. Extra duvet helps somewhat. I've started sleeping pretty much sitting up turned to the side (if that makes sense).

I've been reading a thread on here for women who have already just had their babies and it scared me pantless. The sleep deprivation and feeding difficulties they are describing suddenly feel very real and very close. I might stay in blissful ignorance until labour...

Mc3209 · 26/09/2020 18:02

@FirstSurprise001 ah you poor thing. Fingers crossed it eases off soon.

1990shopefulftm · 26/09/2020 18:11

@Mc3209 reading about it does make it seem more real, feel as I ve not been sleeping as well at least I m more prepared for that part. I m sure instinct must kick in for the most part.

roarfeckingroarr · 26/09/2020 20:01

@SamK93 he won't even contemplate it. It's hard not to feel rejected and resentful. About his dad, he just wasn't a good parent and put his kids down a lot; DP is scared of getting it wrong too.

roarfeckingroarr · 26/09/2020 20:03

@EmmaA96 they're so beautiful! Congratulations Thanks

LadyB90 · 26/09/2020 21:36

@EmmaA96
Omg congratulations! They are just the most beautiful babies 🥰

SophieJosie95 · 27/09/2020 08:19

Catching up -

Sex life? I have vaginismus and we conceived in January and we've tried since but it's too painful & baby girl is a MOVER and we both feel really awkward like a dog is watching us. So I've not had sex in 9 months!

@EmmaA96 huge congratulations! They're beautiful.

Anyone else just bored now? I'm 37 weeks today, due 18th Oct. I'm on annual leave then my mat leave starts and aside from crazy nesting I'm boreeeeeeed.

krissy12 · 27/09/2020 08:24

@SophieJosie95 I know how you feel I'm sooo bored now I've been off work nearly 8 weeks already

Freddie1987 · 27/09/2020 11:00

@EmmaA96 wow, congratulations to you and your beautiful babies!! So precious ☺️xx

Monkeyseesmonkeydoesnt · 27/09/2020 16:49

Not bored as such but a bit fed up I can't manage as much as usual!

I've managed to squeeze in one day annual leave before my due date so plan on getting some trashy magazines, chocolate and some nosecco and gonna spend the day in the bath Grin

Went for a walk earlier and I feel like the baby is going to fall out. I'm so so ready now!

FirstSurprise001 · 27/09/2020 18:41

@Monkeyseesmonkeydoesnt that sounds like the most perfect day! I saw on that Mums Space on Facebook that a woman was having the exact same day, chocolate fondue and strawberries, mocktails and bath. 😍

DP keeps saying to me ‘not long now’ and I’m restraining from smothering him with a pillow and saying try being the one with a 6lb baby on your bladder 🤦🏼‍♀️
