Hello ladies, a quick update that my little boy arrived at 35+6! I'm a little shell-shocked but thrilled to have him here. Looking forward to seeing who is next! Hope you're all hanging in there x

Talking of early arrivals (or hopefully not), I’m 36 weeks today, just been to the toilet and had spotting when I wiped. Also had sharp pains in my lower abdomen last night on and off from about 9pm until 3/4am but I just put it down to Braxton Hicks at the time.

Seems a little coincidental that I got those pains, spotting and struggling with PGP pains over the space of a few days. What do you ladies think? Anything to be worried about?

I’ve text my midwife but she’s semi-retired so not expecting a response!

@FirstSurprise001 definitely give them a call, always better to be checked out. It might be your mucus plug? I lost mine a week before I went into my labour with DD and the day before with DS. Get checked out and let us know how you get on.

@FirstSurprise001 hope your feeling ok? I would say give them a call, at least they can put your mind at rest a little. They’ve said (last night) this is the point we hit the brick wall, and start to feel things in preparation for labour. But I would get them to check you over x
