Hi!
I very recently got my positive result after a FET. (This is my second child. First one conceived through a fresh cycle). Just wondered anyone in a similar position wanted to join, and help keep us calm until scan day!

I am only 4+2 weeks. Still so, so early. Can’t wait for my 7 week scan!

Thanks @MorgenMuffel and @ivfdreaming I'll just sit tight then!

RosettaR · 13/08/2020 20:33

@ivfdreaming that's great both babies are looking well! Good thing you got the NIPT test.

Does anyone know whether I'd be able to get the NIPT in the event that the NT test was inconclusive or showed high risk? Or would that we too late?

ivfdreaming · 14/08/2020 02:51

@RosettaR

You can get the NIPT from 9 to 14 weeks I believe to you've got plenty of time

MorgenMuffel · 14/08/2020 09:17

@ValidUser good luck at your scan today

ValidUser · 14/08/2020 10:45

Thanks @MorgenMuffel. It was wonderful! Strong and fast heartbeat. Growing just a little ahead of dates.

Tiny subchorionic haematoma, but they're not concerned. It really is small. Happy overall!

MorgenMuffel · 14/08/2020 10:46

@ValidUser amazing news!

ivfdreaming · 14/08/2020 10:59

@ValidUser

Great news!!! Hopefully you can relax a bit now until the next scan

I'm still waiting on the NIPT and it's stressing me out! Hopefully I'll get them tomorrow 🤞🤞

bunhead34 · 14/08/2020 11:24

Did anyone get bleeding before the viability scan and everything was still okay?

I'm about 5 weeks and getting a little bleeding which has been pink but is more red today 😭 it comes and goes.
Help!
If it continues red over the weekend I'll call the hospital on Monday.

Hi everyone don’t know where else to post this, I’ve been off my birth control since September my periods were ok until January and they started going up the walls where I’d got from like 2-3 months without it and I suffer from cervical erosions which cause bleeding. I went for a ultra sound yday which said everything was ok and my blood work has came back fine but still have missing periods I’m worried that I’ll struggle to conceive and this is causing me to worry as me and my partner have just bought our first house, has anyone experienced this before. I have noticed I have gained a stone in a half but I’ve been setting goals to get back to my normal BMI weight

ValidUser · 14/08/2020 11:39

@bunhead34 I had a little bleeding around 5 weeks. Stopped soon after.

bunhead34 · 14/08/2020 12:09

@ValidUser thank you 🤞🤞🤞🤞

bunhead34 · 14/08/2020 12:17

@ValidUser congrats on your scan!

takingthistooseriously · 14/08/2020 12:39

@ValidUser great news!

@bunhead34 I had a haematoma that led to bleeding at 7/8 weeks which completely freaked me out. At 5 weeks I guess it could be old implantation bleeding still, I hope it stops soon for you

tikha · 16/08/2020 10:40

Hi all just and update since i posted earlier about having a low beta of 104 on 12DP5DT. It was repeated on 15DP5DT and was 460 so clinic wants to do a scan later but doesn't want to do third beta

BabySweet85 · 16/08/2020 11:48

Hi all - had my booking appointment over the phone yesterday. It was all fine - get my bloods done next week amd just have to wait for my dating scan. Hope everyone is doing okay.

@ivfdreaming any news on the NIPT?

MorgenMuffel · 16/08/2020 12:03

@BabySweet85 makes everything a little more real I think having some appointments!

@tikha hope the scan gives you some clarity over what is going on - Hopefully your numbers rising is a good sign

ivfdreaming · 16/08/2020 15:37

@BabySweet85

No NIPT results yet and am going out of my mind!! Apparently there is a delay on them (the laboratory is in California so most likely impacted by Covid) - they said on Friday it would be 2-3 more days so I'm hoping it will be tomorrow!

I think I'd have felt better If they could have done the NT measurement on Thursday but because I don't have that I'm worrying a bit more

Just hoping it doesn't come back as insufficient dna and have to do another blood test

MorgenMuffel · 16/08/2020 19:14

@ivfdreaming how frustrating. Hope you get your results tomorrow. Still waiting for the results of my combined test, but working on no news is good news as its been nearly two weeks!

Back to work tomorrow after a week off Sad not sure I can hide it much longer from my wider team given the size of my bump- which is mainly food and bloat rather than baby I fear Blush

ValidUser · 16/08/2020 19:40

So my scan on Friday was good (7+4) bar a small SCH. I've had no vaginal bleeding so the clinic said I stay on my innohep and aspirin unless I do.

I suspect it could even be a failed/collapsed gestational sac from our second embryo rather than an SCH. (Frequently mixed up on US, apparently.) Either way, apparently it's too small to increase our risk at this point.

Next scan Wednesday.

@ivfdreaming hoping you get your results soon!

ivfdreaming · 16/08/2020 19:41

I told my work officially on Friday and family over the weekend as physically starting to find it harder already with the bump x

ivfdreaming · 16/08/2020 19:43

@ValidUser

Great news! A second sac would make sense as I remember you did get clearblue 3+ around the time when I did didn't you?

Least you've not got long to wait until the next scan x

ValidUser · 16/08/2020 19:48

Exactly @ivfdreaming. Nice to have only a few days of waiting!

RosettaR · 16/08/2020 21:24

@bunhead34 I had some bleeding last Saturday (nearly 7 weeks). The doctor at the clinic insisted on moving my scan forward. But when we were at the scan I told the head nurse and she just said it's very common and not to worry. Has your bleeding stopped now?

@ivfdreaming I am planning to tell a friend and my boss next week. My boss mainly because as it's twins my understanding is I will need a lot of scans from 12 weeks on, so he will need to be aware.

@ValidUser that's you're at they are being so thorough and that they don't think it means any additional risk.

I'm finding anxiety really hard at the moment, worrying about things that might harm the babies. I really need to get it under control because I know 99% is out of my control. And stop googling!

ivfdreaming · 17/08/2020 06:35

@RosettaR

Yes I had my 12 week scan Thursday and then start at twins clinic at the hospital this Thursday and then possibly fortnightly scans - depends on what kind of twins they are too as some are riskier than others. Have you told your midwife yet as they generally have to send you to a certain hospital for multiples (in my area anyway) - so much to organise!

As my maternity leave is rubbish (no full pay) so can only take 18 weeks off as the main earner I've had to sort childcare out early too and get places reserved as long waiting lists for childminders in my area especially full time for two!

ivfdreaming · 17/08/2020 11:07

Still No bloody NIPT! Getting a bit cross now although I know it's down to being anxious/stressed

They shouldn't advertise 7-10 calendar days for results if the likelihood is they won't be back for that - I wouldn't mind if they said minimum 14 days and at least I'd be prepared then 😡🤬😡

(I'm going to see a secondhand pram on Wednesday evening so at least want to know whether to bother before I buy it! I know it's early but trying to find affordable second hand Prams for twins is impossible and this one is actually in my area!)
