Hi guys! Just found out were expecting. Very early but have no one else I can compare symptoms or questions with. Also thought it would be nice to follow pregnancies together. Expected due date should be the middle of March!

Hi @Rainbow1808 that’s def a stronger line, cramps are prob just baby bedding in nicely , totally understand the anxiety this pregnancy is on my mind all the time I dnt know how I’m gonna get through this especially when I can’t tell anyone ! I’m even dreading getting past the 12 wk mark because of what happened last time It’s just made me anxious Confused

Rainbow1808 · 06/07/2020 13:17

@Ricekrispiecake It’s awful isn’t it! I don’t think I’m ever going to stop worrying until I have a baby in my arms! I wish I could just be happy at the fact I am pregnant and stop over thinking things!

mlax · 06/07/2020 13:29

Hi all - hope you don't mind me joining! My EDD is 7th March and I am 5w+5d preg!

Had a MC in November last year and currently don't have many symptoms. I have shooting like pains on both sides but are very minor doesn't stop me from doing anything but it changes side- does anyone else have this? Tiredness has started kicking in around 1pm. I have sensitive nipples and since I found out I was pregnant just over a week ago I've started gagging when brushing my teeth which never happens usually! Xx

mill2304 · 06/07/2020 14:18

The drs/midwife has told me i can't speak to someone until I'm 7 weeks. Ive used a few different calculators, does anyone know which is most accurate please?

pennythecat86 · 06/07/2020 14:54

Hi everyone can I join? due March 9th (I think? still haven't spoken to a midwife.
A little nervous as i'm FTM and feel paranoid every time I get a twinge or cramp. Dr Google says its nothing to worry about but ill feel so much better once I have my scan and spoken to a medical professional. Booked in the FMC for the 10 and 12 and the Harmony package.

Charlotte2020 · 06/07/2020 15:13

@mill2304 I used the calculator on the Ovia app. Predicts from the first date of your last period

xbambi · 06/07/2020 16:04

Hi everyone - I’m currently 8wk + 1 so due a Few weeks earlier. I was so anxious (still am) so I booked an early private scan and I am SO glad I did. It not only showed me that so far my pregnancy was viable, my partner was able to attend and I actually found out I was having twins! Although we couldn’t see much it was such a relief - and a shock ha ha. I would really recommend a private scan if you can afford it - my SIL is a very senior nurse And she went to the maternity department and did some digging And they’re not expecting to be allowing partners in for scans in the next six months ☹️

ClaraBean · 06/07/2020 16:13

Hello everyone. I'm 4+2 and due 14/3/21
This is dc 5, but my youngest is 13 in a few weeks so I can't remember anything. It might as well be my first!!

Ricekrispiecake · 06/07/2020 16:36

Hi @xbambi congratulations! When did u have your private scan, I have one booked for Saturday just for piece of mind , baby due date 2nd March and never felt so sick! I feel like I’ve just swollen up I tried a pair of jeans on earlier n they were so tight I wanted to cry! It’s not like I’ve even been eating loads

shell1002 · 06/07/2020 16:40

Scan went well, ruled out another ectopic. everything was in the right place they seen gestation and yok sac, booked me back In 2 weeks today to check heartbeat x

Ricekrispiecake · 06/07/2020 16:44

@shell1002 so happy for you bet that was a relief, I’m debating on whether to change my appointment for a week later

Nmvasey · 06/07/2020 17:22

@shell1002 that's amazing news! What's the earliest they can scan you? Is it 6 weeks?

My doctors asked me to go along this morning to produce anytime sample and I've been told the midwife will contact me in the next week or so so I guess we just wait 🤷‍♀️ this is all very new!

Congrats on the BFPs

Boredinthehouse12 · 06/07/2020 18:35

Hi ladies, a massive congrats on your BFPs.

I got my BFP last week and I’m due 14th March. This will be our first child and first pregnancy. I’m 4+1 today and yet to have any real symptoms beside bloating.

We are keeping the news to ourselves at the moment so it’s nice to have people to talk to on here! My OH is pretty clueless about the female body/pregnancy m so I’m happy I can share/moan/ask for advice from people who are going through the same process x

teachermam · 07/07/2020 00:13

5 plus 1 today
Trying not to. Obsess
6th pregnancy and I've 2 children
Youngest is 6 so it's been a while
Now aged 40 so took alot longer to. Get pregnant
Had a chemical a year ago
Hoping this works out

Any other older mammies

bluemints · 07/07/2020 06:34

I'm due 6 days before I'm a bridesmaid at my MIL wedding haha! Talk about timing 😬

ALew15 · 07/07/2020 07:35

Congratulations everyone!

@Boredinthehouse12 we are around similar timings! 😊 I got my BFP yesterday and app is predicting around 18th March 2021.
No symptoms as such for me yet either, had some killer heartburn the last 2 days but nothing I can't manage.

Had a MMC last year so we are cautiously optimistic.

Maple1990 · 07/07/2020 08:28

Hi all, found out I was expecting on Saturday. From the UK, 1st timer, we had been trying for a while. Very nervous something will happen. Currently extremely nauseous but no vomiting thankfully, some mild cramping and very tired. Due 11/3/21

Boredinthehouse12 · 07/07/2020 09:57

@ALew15 congratulations! Wishing you a happy healthy pregnancy. So you had to go through a MMC, fingers crossed everything goes smoothly this time.

I guess we should really make the most of this symptom free period! X

Ricekrispiecake · 07/07/2020 10:52

Morning ladies.so I’m having my usual meltdown here , just called my dr to be told I cannot see her and have to have a video link appointment. I’m usually a UK size 12 but my bump has come out so much . I know we get water retention and bloating but this is extreme - see attached pic, I’m only 6weeks pregnant baby due 2nd March . Do you think I’m right to ask to be seen by a dr? I’m still nauseous my boobs have a mind of their own ,stomach cramps have subsided now acid reflux occasionally and can wee for England . I sound like a right miserable cow but I lost twins last year at 14 weeks and I just can’t relax

Bb90 · 07/07/2020 10:59

Hey, can i jump in too.
Got my bfp last Tuesday, have no idea when im due as the whole 2 weeks before you conceived is confusing me.
Had cramps and serious anxiety about the whole thing even though it was planned (kind of). Got my first midwife's call next week, don't know whether it's worth asking for an early scan due to anxiety?

Flittingabout · 07/07/2020 11:22

Hi all

Can I join please?

Congratulations for all the March pregnancies! I am super confused as some of you have said same dates but are different amounts of pregnant. Is this because we are all using different methods of calculation or something?

I understand the anxiety completely and am sorry to read what some of you have been through. I am lucky in so much as have never had a pregnancy or miscarriage before but as it has taken almost 2 years to get a pregnant result I am now living in anxiety land having supported friends through terrible times in early and mid pregnancy loss and my step mum at 5 months. It is like I have soaked up the fear.

I am 5 weeks and 2 days I think?! Due 8th March.

I hope this is reassuring but I have also had quite strong cramps come and go. I also have had nausea come and go. I haven't felt much the last 2 days but am showing as progressing on a CB. I actually googled "is it normal for pregnancy symptoms to disappear at 5 weeks" and the answer was yes!

A video consultation with a doctor can't hurt I think Ricekrispiecake.

Ricekrispiecake · 07/07/2020 11:33

Update all. Spoke to dr and now going hospital for scan , she agreed I’m looking a lot bigger than I shld be . .. I’ll let u know how it goes

AnaBananas · 07/07/2020 14:47

@Ricekrispiecake best of luck for today! Hopefully everything is all ok.

Good luck - totally the right thing to talk to the doctor even if just to put your mind at rest!
ALew15 · 07/07/2020 14:55

Totally clueless here but when do I arrange a doctors/midwife appointment? I found out I'm pregnant yesterday so I'm just under 4 weeks? I did all this last year but I seem to have forgotten! 😹😹
