G43 I love camping. You'll have a great time!

goingfor3 · 17/10/2007 13:14

There is an indoot leasuire centre on site and the girls love swimming so I do think they'll have a good time. DD1 was disapointed that we are not going by plane, staying in this country and staying in a caravan, she said she was going to stay in the car! She's very excited now though.

MrsMcSpooky · 17/10/2007 13:24

Sounds like fun. I went to school in Sussex and there are some lovely places to go down there have fun!

becklespookle · 17/10/2007 13:29

Good luck for tomorrow Gingercat! Am sure it will all go well, are you going to ask what flavour you are having? Or keep it as a surprise?! Little milestones seemed to work well for me although the time since the 20 week scan has really dragged!
MrsMc, I think it's amazing that they dream too! My DSs think it must be very boring in there with nothing to do but grow!
G43 - sounds like a great holiday, I am very . I am hoping to take the last 2 days off of work next week so can do something with the DSs, even if it is just the park or a soft play place. Strange to think this could be the last school holidays with just me and them as baby is due in the Christmas hols (could be - and probably will be - late of course).

I bought a car seat for baby on Sunday and it arrived today - makes it all seem far more real now (I have been stroking it as it has fleecy trim)! Also bought some newborn nappies which were on special offer the otherday too. Although I have very minimal stuff I now have enough to get by if baby did decide to arrive early.

becklespookle · 17/10/2007 13:39

What an awfully addictive game G43!

gingercat12 · 17/10/2007 14:25

Thanks for all your thoughts.
Becklespookle We will ask the flavour, but will not be disappointed if it is too shy

becklespookle · 17/10/2007 14:36

I felt like that Gingercat, DH wanted to know and I didn't really so it was nice that they couldn't be sure!

LikerabbitsBX · 17/10/2007 14:42

Hi Guys,

I just thought I would post this as my sister just had a reading from this person.

My sister suffered a miscarriage last year and wanted to know more about how things are going to be for this year and next.

She was really spot on about everything that happened and said she will fall pregnant in December!!

Have a look www.yourpersonalpsychic.co.uk

flosspot · 17/10/2007 18:26

Ronshar- so very very sorry to hear your news, but keeping everything crossed that you will be back here soon. Big hugs.

Feedme-going t babyshow on Friday with a friend. Will do my best to wear MN badge!

Feeling a bit low as DH away with work tonight. Just me and the dog and a total lack of symptoms...

PiggyPenguin · 17/10/2007 20:28

Flosspot, my symptoms ate really sporadic and not very strong, so don't worry you are not alone! I have the world's worst indigestion, and slighty sore boobs and thats it.

I am determined not to panic about it though, in a few weeks when we are puking into the loo at every opportunity we will look back at this and wonder why we wanted it...

ronshar · 17/10/2007 20:29

I live in Sussex. Where did you go to school Mrsspooky?
G43, where are you going on your hols?
Its lovely and warm here at the moment, t-shirt weather.

MerlinsBeard · 17/10/2007 21:50

just dropping by to say i am back and boy have i missed you guys!

Have skim read- ronshar i am so sorry, hopefully we will see you soon
nh wow twins!!

Everyhting is ok here as far as i can tell, still only having infrequent bubbles rather than movements but placenta may e at the front so muffling everything. keep having panicy days when i feel 'empty' does that make sense?

2 weeks until next scan and i am count down again.....

Bouncingturtleskulls · 18/10/2007 07:01

MOM - welcome back - and yes, I have experienced that "empty" feeling - for me it's normally early on in the day, as my tummy muscles have had a nice rest from carrying baby. Then as the day progresses I feel that "carrying a 3 stone baby" feeling!!!
Ronshar - I'm in the NE, where it has been quite nice and sunny to but definitely chilly in the morning. How are you doing anyway? You ok?

MrsMcSpooky · 18/10/2007 09:38

Hey ladies good luck to those having scans today.

Beckle ? LOL at your DSs thinking it would be boring in the womb Sounds like you are feeling relaxed about things hon I read in a book last night that I should have packed my hospital bag by now just in case..>WHAT! please tell me that isn?t true, I?m only 27 weeks!

Flosspot ? sorry you were feeling low last night

Sybilvimes ? hang in there hon

Ronshar ? I went to boarding school in Eastbourne it?s freezing here today, lovely and bright but lots of frost. How are you hon?

We missed you MOM! Glad you are doing well

Bouncing ? hello

nh101andhertwinbeans · 18/10/2007 11:09

Check out my beans pic on my public page!!!

I am feeling quite well today which obviously is just making me worried. I fell when I got out of bed this morning, it really was just a little fall onto my knees and forearms (tripped over the leg of the bed as I was walking around it in a sleepy haze) But that can't do any damage - right????

gingercat12 · 18/10/2007 11:21

Hope everybody else has just as a good morning as I do. Sorry I could not read today's posts yet. Just back from ultrasound. It seemed all right. Very sweet little boy

EllieG · 18/10/2007 11:33

Lovely pics nh! Sure a fall like that is fine. I did same and MW said was no worries.

Glad your scan went well gingercat x Did you know you were having a boy or have you just found out?

I have a cold today. It won;t make me have a miscarriage will it? I am fretting...

nh101andhertwinbeans · 18/10/2007 11:36

Congrats ginger! Was that 20 weeks then?

What are we like, Ellie? We just can't relax can we. Colds can do no harm and certainly not after 12 weeks. You're safe!

EllieG · 18/10/2007 11:37

Thanks nh x What would I do without MN?
Am going to finish my report and then go home and be snotty and put feet up

MrsMcSpooky · 18/10/2007 11:51

Wow Nh101 ? that is sooooo cool, I take it they are fraternal twins then? don?t worry about the fall, the beans are well protected, you take care though!

Ah Gingercat ? lovely

Ellie ? a cold is fine, keep your fluids up, it?s a temperature from flu that can be a worry. Get well soon!

nh101andhertwinbeans · 18/10/2007 12:06

Hi MrsMc - yes, they are non-identical. It was the Clomid!!

flosspot · 18/10/2007 12:07

Cool pics NH-

Glad I am not on my own Sybil- as you say, I'll be cursing my worries in a few weeks time...

I have a cold too Ellie- feel yucky and worried, but just resting lots and drinking lots. And peeing lots!

Morning all.

becklespookle · 18/10/2007 13:22

Very cool pic NH, you should be fine from fall, they are very well protected in there!

MOM, hi! Welcome back! Glad you are okay, I too used to have a lot of days where I would feel empty, especially when LO was only just starting to move and I didn't feel it everyday. Definitely not empty anymore though! Try not to worry hun (same to Floss & Sybil too).

MrsMc, am not really relaxed, it just doesn't seem real yet! Also as last 2 babies went well over I am not expecting to be early this time. I haven't even got anything for my hospital bag yet let alone packed it! Might pick up a couple of bits tomorrow as got to go to town to pick up prescription of iron tablets - apparently I am anaemic which explains why I am so tired. How are things with you?

Gingercat, glad your scan went well, and a little boy too ! Congrats!

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 18/10/2007 14:13

Just popping in quickly whilst I have a spare 5 mins before picking next mindee up from school (childminder). I had a mc before ds and ds is now 4.7 so it's a LONG time ago and I know these things happen but you can't help worrying can you! I hated my pregnancy with ds, was always worried it was going to happen again so I didn't let myself get too attached. Trying not to be like that this time as ended up with bad PND last time.

I've only just found out I'm pg and because I'm so wet down there, I keep checking as feels like I've just come on. I know this is quite normal so I'll try and calm down about it, I AM getting better already so that's good. HOWEVER, I now have that dull ache down below that feels like a period is coming. Not pains, just that feeling iykwim. I may have had this with ds, can't remember, it's so long ago. Is this normal to feel like you may have your period coming? Is it just stretching etc. or is it NOT normal and should I worry. I'm so damn emotional with these hormones so please forgive me!!!

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 18/10/2007 14:15

p.s. it doesn't help that with ds I had every symptom you can think of from before testing positive and this time I'm tired and have a little boob tingling every now and then and VERY hungry but nothing major.
