@LozEliza I’m also starting to panic a bit about finishing work. It feels very real, and I’m also worried that they won’t miss me/won’t need me back!

@Wigglebum87 I’ve had a week of terrible sleep and have bad hip pain, so can totally sympathise!

Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend

wannabebump · 22/08/2020 16:36

@LozEliza I have similar work worries x

LozEliza · 22/08/2020 22:05

@Wigglebum87 yesss! At night I often get this where I'm so uncomfortable in the bed.

@Wise0wl @wannabebump comforting to hear others have the same worries makes me feel like it's more normal to feel this way I guess it's all part of the journey

wannabebump · 22/08/2020 23:07

@LozEliza totally normal I think (I hope!), it's such a big change for us. I'm sure it'll all work out though.

Yes to bed looking like soft fluffy clouds during the day and turning into a slab of concrete for at night!

Anotherboy · 23/08/2020 16:39

We've been camping this weekend and I cannot wait for my soft fluffy cloud bed tonight!!

wannabebump · 24/08/2020 00:56

@Anotherboy hats off to you camping, i couldnt imagine having to get up at a campsite a couple of times a night to pee!

Feel asleep quite early like 10pm and now wide awake ☹️

OP posts:
Wigglebum87 · 24/08/2020 07:38

What an awful night's sleep, everything hurts this morning, suppose I'd best get used to this!

Anotherboy · 24/08/2020 08:56

It was a pain in the bum but I get up to pee at least once a night even when not pregnant! Old age lol. My hips did not thank me but otherwise it was fine

wannabebump · 24/08/2020 23:03

Another night... desperate to get to bed and I know it's gonna be another uncomfortable night! How's everyone else holding up with sleeping?

OP posts:
Wise0wl · 24/08/2020 23:20

It sounds like we’re all in the same boat @wannabebump! Having some success sleeping on a duvet with a pillow between my knees, but still up every few hours. I thought that during pregnancy I’d get loads of rest but I guess on the upside at least it’s preparing us all for lots of sleepless nights with newborns...?

wannabebump · 25/08/2020 04:57

@Wise0wl probably preparing us, you're right! I can sleep during the day though 😂 so weird!

It's getting tougher being awake at all hours because we've bought all the big things for the baby and that's what I'd sit and google and read reviews on etc! X

@StephRae pleased babies are doing well! Absolute fighters 💕

Just a little update from me as know not everyone here on fb group - I highly doubt my November baby will be waiting until then either! Uncomfortable all Sunday night then yesterday morning lost mucus plug and went in to be examined. 2cm dilated with bulging membranes but waters still intact. Blue lighted over to more specialist hospital and had steroids and meds for baby's brain development then meds to stop contractions. Still been up most of the night with mild ones which have eased off again now and still only 3cm - 28+2 so doing everything they can to keep little one cooking a bit longer! But have been told I will stay in hospital until I deliver now, whenever that may be... baby is absolutely fine and totally oblivious to all the drama and have seen SCBU team so know what to expect when they arrive if within next couple of days/weeks 🤞🏻 (Nc from bluebell94 btw!)

FudgeFlies · 25/08/2020 09:52

@fancyfrogs Hopefully baby is in there for a bit longer! Glad he/she is okay!

wannabebump · 25/08/2020 11:37

@fancyfrogs glad baby is ok, hopefully stays in there cooking for a bit longer x

OP posts:
Wise0wl · 25/08/2020 12:42

@fancyfrogs it sounds like you’re in excellent hands, I hope baby stays put and oblivious!

@wannabebump what about birth/parenting books? I’m going to try and tackle my hypnobirthing one I think as I’ve also finished shopping!

wannabebump · 25/08/2020 12:51

@Wise0wl I've got an online hypnobirthing class in 2 weeks, I think I'll invest in some reading material after the class so I'll see if I like it x

littlegem84 · 25/08/2020 19:17

@MissingMo it's a secret group but if you add me, I can add you to the group 😀

littlegem84 · 25/08/2020 19:23

Obviously the salient information in my message got forgotten 🤣 www.facebook.com/gemma.howe.12

MissingMo · 25/08/2020 19:31

Thank you 😊

TangBloodyFastic · 25/08/2020 19:41

@AnxiousLady1 @wannabebump @Wise0wl
Thank you for your kind words, think I just had a bit of a blip last week, feel much better this week and a lot more at ease with everything
Pretty sure I will have some kind of meltdown again in the next 3 months and will need yet more reassurance
Thanks again ☺️

wannabebump · 25/08/2020 20:03

@TangBloodyFastic glad you're feeling better x

OP posts:
Wigglebum87 · 25/08/2020 20:04

Wigglebum87 · 26/08/2020 07:59
