@AuntieR456 ah that's good! I don't quite know where I am either, AF is due either 26th,28th or 30th going by 3 different apps. I also don't track ovulation so who knows 🤣 I have done 4 tests now since finding out on Monday 🤦🏻‍♀️ x

Hopesandrainbows · 25/06/2020 18:31

Oh forgot to say I'll be due on 9th March apparently. Done 4 tests already and I get so nervous each time 😅 I am just praying the little bit of brown blood was implantation. Did any of you get any very light blood a few days after implantation? I didn't get it when I miscarried in the last pregnancy.

Is anybody worried because they drank alcohol before finding out they were pregnant? I had more than a few g&ts on Friday and Saturday night and some wine on Sunday as well.

I know I didn't know but I'm fretting a bit!

peonyrose87 · 25/06/2020 20:34

@SunflowerOwl I just went and bought a cheap one from Sainsbury's, hopefully it does the trick! 😂

BookishEm · 25/06/2020 20:58

Has anyone booked an early scan? I just did there for the 31st of July. I’ll be 9 weeks. I just think if it’s still the same restrictions on the nhs then I’d love DH to be able to come and hear the heartbeat with me and also might make it feel more real!!
@Hopesandrainbows I’ve not had any bleeding and I can’t decided whether that’s good or bad... basically I’m in my head about her everything!

SunflowerOwl · 25/06/2020 21:06

@BookishEm I'm thinking of booking one at 10 weeks for the same reason as you - think I'm going to make it a surprise for DH. I definitely want us to see the baby for the first time together Smile

BookishEm · 25/06/2020 21:16

@sunflowerowl I think it’s not the end of the world if we weren’t together that first time but since it’s possible I definitely wanted to do it!!
Ps love your name! Sunflowers are my favourite. I had them as my wedding bouquet 🌻

Sunshineeeee · 25/06/2020 21:50

@knickknack30 it's premature rupture of membranes. I was too lazy to type is so used the medical way. I lost a baby before at 15 weeks and with my current baby I almost went into premature labour at 23 weeks and 26 weeks but miraculously carried to 39+6 :D. All that stress and those tears for a full term healthy baby!

My LO is 7 months. I'm terrified as I wasn't trying to conceive yet. No idea how I will cope or will deal with another pregnancy right after my first one. Ah well. Here's to taking it a day at a time!

knickknack30 · 25/06/2020 22:23

@Sunshineeeee thank you for explaining. That sounds awful 😔 you definitely have the right attitude. Just one day at a time thats all we can do!

MayfliesX · 25/06/2020 23:16

@SunflowerOwl
Hi. I really wouldn’t worry. It is obviously not possible for any tests to be done to show what level of alcohol is safe during pregnancy but my understanding from all the research I did first time around is that there is actually little evidence that small amounts of alcohol do cause harm, especially in the very early stages.
This recent article speaks to this point:

www.health.harvard.edu/blog/study-no-connection-between-drinking-alcohol-early-in-pregnancy-and-birth-problems-201309106667

I got absolutely wasted 10 days ago too. I didn’t mean to, but lockdown and family stuff has been getting to me so DH and I spent an evening drinking cocktails and dancing until 3am. I haven’t drunk since and won’t during the pregnancy but I’m not worried about it...

knickknack30 · 25/06/2020 23:57

@Hopesandrainbows I had 2 spots of very dark brown blood last Wednesday and then nothing since. I got a vvfl on Friday and saturday morning and then on sunday I got a digital BFP. I'm assuming that was implantation spotting. I think as long as its dark and a reasonably small amount it's fairly safe to assume its implantation.

Tecalina · 26/06/2020 06:43

@SK2970 It really is all change! I'm used to high intensity workouts, but right now my body can't seem to handle simple squatting 🙈

@knickknack30 That's the reason we told our parents...and I told my best friend in case I need a night out if everything goes wrong 🙊😂

Littlebee1990 · 26/06/2020 06:59

Hi everyone! I can’t believe it, this happened today. I think my EDD will be 5th March.
First baby and cycle 3... I’m guessing I call the doctors and make an appointment! Shocked and so happy x

Due March 2021
clarabel2 · 26/06/2020 07:16

Congratulations ladies! We just got our BFP on Tuesday. EDD 4/3/21 😃
No symptoms at the moment, but I had morning nausea Monday & Tuesday which made me test. Been trying for 3 months and this is our first. 5 tests later I think DH is starting to believe it 😂

smiley321 · 26/06/2020 07:17

Hi everyone, just got my second positive test this morning. AF due today but also got a positive last Sunday. Due date 4th of March. Had a miscarriage in March at 5 week and I am 38. Have felt nauseous all week 🤢Looking forward to following everyone’s journey Smile

Littlebee1990 · 26/06/2020 07:28

Random question ladies.. I want to book an early scan.. do you count your weeks from LMP? If so then my period came on 29th May and the clinic can offer 26th July, do you think that would be far along enough given the digital today said 1-2 weeks? X

knickknack30 · 26/06/2020 08:08

Congratulations to all the BFPs!
@Tecalina it's only natural to want support at times like this, hopefully you and your best friend wont be on a mad one for a long long time 😉
@Littlebee1990 I'm no expert on this but I would go with your LMP which would put you at around 8 weeks, it does vary slightly depending on cycle length and when you ovulate. But when my GP dated me she just said according to my LMP I was due 24/2. I'd say go for it because you can get one from around 6 but you start to get best results from 7 xo

peonyrose87 · 26/06/2020 08:09

@smiley321 and @clarabel2 congratulations!!! 🎉

@Littlebee1990 so good to see you here and that you got your CB positive 🥰🎉 yes, you count your weeks from the first of your last period. You might be able to see something on the 26th July but it also might be a tiny bit early

SK2970 · 26/06/2020 08:09

Welcome newbies and congratulations!! 💕

@Littlebee1990 I think you go from first day of last AF. So mine was 1st June so 3 weeks+4 now. Im looking at having an early scan on 18th July which will be between 6-7 weeks.

Sakura54 · 26/06/2020 08:35

I RTFT after I posted. Gosh the amount of MCs and MMCs we've had is so sad. My MMC was during lockdown which made things so much harder. I was never anxious when pregnant as MCs are common, but MMCs are supposedly rare and it happened, so now I have reason to be. Let's hope our bad luck stops there and we get our rainbows this time!

For those symptom spotting. I had bad symptoms both times (one baby, one MMC) so it doesn’t really tell you anything. I would be so happy to have no symptoms!

Hi again @peonyrose87 After saying all that to you about waiting for 2nd AF and cycles in the other thread, I didn’t realise I was already pregnant lol!

Hopesandrainbows · 26/06/2020 08:52

Is anyone taking Omega 3 fish oil? I was taking it this month when TTC and unsure whether to continue taking it? Also anyone else getting backache already? I go to sleep fine and then wake up restless with lower back ache like I get when I'm due on (but I've done 5 tests so know I'm definitely pregnant 😬😅) so exciting but can't help but feel anxious after having a miscarriage last time. I definitely think I'll pay for an early scan at like 7/8 weeks as a bit of comfort haha xx

peonyrose87 · 26/06/2020 08:55

@Sakura54 hello!! Congratulations on your BFP 🎉 that's amazing that you were pregnant already and hadn't realised! So lovely to see you here ☺️ how are you feeling?

BookishEm · 26/06/2020 09:05

@Littlebee1990 aaaahhh congrats!! So glad you did the digital test!!
I booked an early scan yesterday. They asked me to put in the date of my last period and my predicted due date so I think they would let you know if they thought you were too early but everything I’ve seen says from first date of last period. It’s taken me ages to get my head around that as, quite clearly, I wasn’t pregnant then!

Kovu · 26/06/2020 09:22

Hi everyone! 👋👋

Can I please join?

Congratulations on all the BFPs everyone!

I’ve see a few familiar names from the TTC threads! Super excited for all of you! Congratulations!

I am due 2nd of March apparently 😊 just wondering if any of you are tracking your HCG levels? I went and got a a HCG test on Tuesday and it came back at 120 which could be considered low but I was only 4 weeks then so the doctor wasn’t too worried just yet. I’m getting another test on Monday to see if it’s doubled appropriately. Not going to lie I’m a bit anxious but hoping for the best! 🤞🤞

BookishEm · 26/06/2020 09:40

@kova congrats and welcome!

I’ve not actually heard of doing this... now I’m stressed haha I’ll have to google this immediately 😂😂
