Hey @faithfulbird how are u now? My due date is March 15, 2021. I have similar symptoms to yours. Well the nausea part of it. I vomit about four times since am pregnant but wish it was more often because i rather it over the constant nausea feeling that is whole day. The other problem is i can not take the scent of anything including perfume, lotion, food, rubbing alcohol. I mean just about every scent. I cant wait for this part to past as i am also doing my BA and it is hard to function at the moment.

This will be my second child though i have a son who will be six in October. I also did an ultrasound last week Saturday and all is well so far. I actually heard the heard beat.

Hi all, lovely to see all these positive chats. I think im about 7 weeks but had a little bit of bleeding (not bright red just brown - sorry TMI!) for 2 days that has now stopped, so awaiting a private 7 week scan this weekend. I feel like before i was pregnant i was blissfully unaware of all the anxieties and troubles i feel each day now. Think im a bit neurotic - oops! Hoping we see a heartbeat and we have been first time lucky! I think my due date is approx 17/3. All the best xxx

Hi guys I've just hit 8 weeks today and feel miserable with the nausea. It will be my second child and 3rd pregnancy after mc in April. I just feel like my head is spinning 24-7 from the nausea and can't function. Feel tight on my 3 year old because I can't give her my full attention. Also cannot stand the smell of any cooking. Glad we're here to support each other.

@sorch12 I'm now 8 weeks + and have only just started to feel tired! I've told some of my cousins and they've told me they had nothing too. One of my cousins didn't believe she was until she could feel the baby kick! Think positive - I have some ginger biscuits in a cupboard just in case but no signs yet (which makes me very nervous BTW) enjoy!!!!

My breasts are real sore and bit of cramping too and headaches. They say week 6 could be the beginning of the dreaded morning sickness. I am very nervous as I have a v bad fear of vomiting so don't know how I will cope lol any advice on how to hell curb would be great
Thanks Smile

Hello can I join? 🥰
Just got a BFP yesterday and due date 19th March. This will beDC2 if all goes to plan. We've been trying since March so totally delighted. I have an 18 month old girl.
This time round I haven't had any symptoms which is so strange as last time I had lots by this stage. Last time I was sick from week 6 to week 20 so would be delighted if that didn't come back 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Congrats to all xx

@SK2970 @Wishingfor2021 no we haven't told anyone yet, only found out 3 days ago but I really want to, DH is wanting to hold back though.
We had a MMC in Nov '19 that was picked up on the 12week scan and hadn't told anyone we were pregnant so then we had to deliver bad news. I promised myself we would do it differently this time so I have more support.... Just wondering when!

I might have to tell my boss as I'm a Dental Nurse and we have a high risk job, thankfully I'm in Wales and we aren't doing any high risk procedures atm.

Hi ladies. Just wondering if it’s too late to join as I couldn’t find and threads till now... I got a very faint bfp at 8dpo but I didn’t realise until the day after when I got a positive on a boots test and had another look. I’m 34 and have a 5 year old daughter so feel like it’s all new to me. I’m currently 6+2 and would be due March 2nd 2021. It’s nice to be able to talk to others going through the same as we haven’t really told anyone apart from parents. Hope you are all well and early days aren’t taking it’s toll. I’m having crazy dreams.. anyone else?? X

@peonyrose87 thank you for your reassurance, coincidentally my midwife just rang this morning to do my booking appointment over the phone and she has just said the same, phew!Smile

@ALew15 I’ve told my best friend as I needed someone to talk to other than my partner who would understand from a females point of view! I’ve also had to tell my dad as he is also my employer, and I didn’t want to risk him pulling me back into work soon because of Covid (my job sometimes includes working very closely with members of the public). Because of this we also told my partners parents to be fair, but that is it. I’m not telling anybody who I wouldn’t feel would be supportive should anything bad happen!

@ALew15 We told my parents last week - I spend so much time with them that I would have struggled not to tell them and I just needed to be able to talk to my mum about it.
DH told his brother as he needed to tell somebody but we haven't told his parents yet and I have asked that we hold of telling them but if we are with them and the time feels right then happy to tell them. I just worry that if something goes wrong then it's more people heartbroken than needed!
Have you told anybody yet? What is your thoughts on it?

When is everyone thinking of telling close friends and family?

Report
peonyrose87 · 08/07/2020 08:51

@Wishingfor2021 yes that's common. It's to do with the increased blood flow to the area and usually is nothing to worry about at all

Hi everyone!
Wanted to join a new group as we have recently found out we are pregnant! Tested 3 days ago. I am approx 4 weeks so very early days. Had a MMC last year that was picked up on 12W scan so lots of anxiety. Definitely going to book an early scan (probably private) Have been doing a HPT every morning just to check line progression. Puts my mind at ease a little.
Looking forward to seeing everyone's progress and stories!

Has anyone else had spotting after sex? It’s very light pink in colour and not a lot, I could only see it when I wiped and I’m not having any pain with it. Sorry for TMI but I’m not sure if it’s something I should be worried about or if it’s because I haven’t had sex in a couple of weeks now? Not too sure who to contact (if I need to) as I’m only 6 weeks tomorrow so haven’t spoke to a midwife yet

@Jonsey1987 the group has a random name and doesn’t have pregnancy in the title, also I believe it is a private group so you can’t search for it.

@ClaraBean you beat new, this will be dc4!

@AuntieR456 would love to join but nervous about other people seeing that I've written in a pregnancy group etc. Trying to hide it until I get to 12 weeks!? Hopefully I'll join soon!
Guys so sorry to hear of your mc it's shite and your lucky to concieve pretty much straight away! Fingers crossed for you and its annoying you have to wait until week 12 to get reassurance. I think if your unsure ring your epu or book private?! If it helps this is my second pregnancy and it feels completely different from my first! X

Hi @Sho2207 sorry about your MMC in April, I also had a MC in April, and currently 5 weeks pregnant! I've had the same symptoms as you and also they seem to be disappearing.. don't think there's anything to help ease the anxiety at this stage 😫
I have also been testing every other day, but finally got 3+ on a digital which has eased slightly.
